A horrendous scene was made in this place AGAIN for the skimpy & very much lackluster approach to serving the public. Witnessed the manager in glasses hollering at customer in front of me for her complaint of "skimpy" bowl. I've experienced this a half dozen times. Never left a review This time the manager said "only a hand pinch of cheese is allowed" She yelled at the woman to not film her, I saw the woman's bowl. She had every right to complain. The manager was actually more defensive and argumentative than the woman. All because the customer had her phone recording the manager. As the woman left without the order, the manager was yelling to call Derry Township police Department. The woman had already walked out. The employees continued to insult the customer, the food looked old and not worth a visit back I turned around and left, went to Wendy's. I don't see Chipotle getting any better. This place is flat out terrible. I've been there 3 times thinking it would get better at least once to no avail. Never have half of the ingredients, don't offer to make any of the stuff they don't have and place blame on other workers when asked why they don't have what they offer on the menu. Food usually great quality but almost always have bad quantity whether what is available or what is given as portion sizes. Service is nice but behind and slow. More than 1 occasion has my online order not been ready on time or found period. Staff is usually too busy talking or goofing off to help one another to make things run smoother/faster. If we want to "Keep it real" like their shirts say then frankly they need to better manage their time and skills instead of having 1 person stand watch at the register while one person slowly fills orders through the line and 2 chefs prep in the back while goofing off. Then maybe keeping it real will also mean keeping it accurate and consistent. read more

This was terrible in every way. Every table was dirty, no ice, no iced tea or lemonade, workers were slow. They almost messed up my order multiple times and kept trying to charge me for guacamole even though I never ordered it. The queso wasn't fresh, the chips were stale. My husband and I ordered from here today. How did it go? I'm still starving. I ordered 3 chicken tacos; crunchy shell, sour cream, cheese, lettuce. Very simple & easy. Wrong! I received 3 soft shell tacos full of sour cream and lettuce. Each taco had one piece of chicken on it. It was a sour cream taco. My husbands burrito had the wrong ingredients, but at least he had enough food to eat :) Worst Chipotle ever. read more

The most remarkable thing about this Chipotle location is, its ability to not give the right ingredient for any of the meals that I've ordered. I've never had an issue at any other location. You are better driving the extra 10 minutes to the other nearby location in town. Placed an order on the app. Got confirmation order was ready. Got there and order wasn't there. No one could find it and had to look it up and make it. Still got it wrong. Ordered two salads exactly the same, how hard is that? Basically I paid $22.00 For 2 bowls of guacamole. How do you not put lettuce on a f#@$ing salad. It was guac and hot salsa. And I said omit the hot salsa. You almost have to try to be that bad. And I was surprised that I got guac because they are usually out of it. What a joke. I have been there multiple times, and I love the food, but the service is bad. Today, I walked in, and the guy handling the food has no hat or hair net. The other server preparing the station is also checking out the customers paying and never changing his gloves. This is just today , the other time I asked the guy to change his gloves after touching money. They do not keep the station clean and then the food that is on the counter gets wrapped up with my wrap. They are almost all young so I believe this to be inproper training. This is not just a one time occurrence. With all that said how can someone in charge find it acceptable to prepare food with hair not secure and at the very least not touch the food after handling the payment. read more

I would give this restaurant 0 stars if I could. For stupid reason you can only order quesadillas on-line for pick up. Both kids wants quesadillas so I attempted to order on line at 7:15. After trying numerous times and multiple payment methods and my order never being accepted, I went into the store. I was told I could only order quesadillas on-line. I told them I tried but they still would not make the quesadillas. While I was there there was one girl working the line who looked ready to burst into tears she asked for help from the 4 other employees who were standing around. No one helped her. I saw the other reviews and was not sure about going to this Chipotle, but decided to give it a try. I wanted to try the new smoked brisket. It was great. The guacamole was the best I have had. This site has been, and continues to be, a tragedy. Read prior reviews for truth. The employees when we've gone in the past appeared intoxicated while working and efficiency was minimal. Today, once again, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, as I'm a resident of Hummelstown. Employees seemed more attentive and at least not intoxicated this time, but they were AGAIN out of food, the music was so loud we had to shout our order, counters had food smeared on them, floors were dirty, and garbage was overflowing in the trash receptacles. I don't know who owns this site, but if they don't improve significantly and rapidly, this location will fold. I'm about ready to report to the PA Department of Health. I won't be going back any time soon - go to the one in downtown Hershey-it's significantly better. read more

Negative a million score. Placed an order online. Show up to a sign on the door saying no cash payments. Well cool, I ordered online. Walk in to a huge line. Apparently they're waiting because the employees are doing one catered order. Employees keep yelling out, online orders only, it'll be 10 minute wait. (Definitely not a 10 minute wait). Tried to cancel the order online.. can't. Says they have high wait times. What is going on anymore ? I hope I get my food by closing time. New to the area, love Chipotle where we are from so didn't expect to have a poor experience here. However, it was not so great, it turns out. They were out of white rice when we got there and some people in front of us had walked out as a result. The restaurant was not spectacular looking, the trash cans were overflowing, the tables and floors were dirty, and the food prep line was a mess of scattered food items. There weren't many people in the restaurant, yet none of the workers were doing any cleaning or straightening. We ordered our food, and then got to the drink area and discovered they were out of forks, so I had to eat my salad with a spoon. Not sure why a manager or shift lead hadn't solved that issue by running across the parking lot to the grocery store to get some forks. Looking at these other reviews, it seems this location might be one to avoid in the future. read more

When I came into this Chipotle I expected the worst. I expected bad service and small portions like other Chipotle's but was pleasantly surprised. I got served by a nice man named Anis and he helped me get just what I wanted down to the coke zero. Portions were perfect and everything was cooked beautifully.
