I've never reviewed a fast food restaurant, but just happened to see all the negative reviews so thought I'd provide mine (and not at all saying the other reviews were that person's experience). But our experience has not been along these lines. We have ordered food from here probably 8 to 10 times in the last couple of months and it has always been exactly what we expect from a chipotle. I thought that the reviews may be dramatic and then I experienced it firsthand... Pro: The place is brand new, very modern, but everything else pretty much discounts the upscale vibe. Cons: * understaffed -- I understand it may be slow if you're understaffed, but the cashier was just standing there watching and waiting while the one guy prepping the meals was by himself. Poor guy. I was going to say we didn't mind waiting since he was beefing up everyone's burritos and bowls, but when it was our turn (fourth group in line) it was real stingy. The bowl was about halfway full if that. * No white rice in the front, no corn salsa, no clean up... * around 30-45 min wait with 3 groups which was a father with two kids, a mom and daughter and then a single guy and 5 groups of people waiting behind us and the line got longer It was the first time in 14 years I had ever finished a bowl in one sitting and was still left hungry. And I almost always bring leftovers in general, but chipotle... it was quite shocking. Sorry friends, but go to another location. read more

The portions at this location are very small and inconsistent. Workers seem inexperienced and don't know what they are doing.

I like chipotle but will not go back to this one. Staff ignored customers until back staff prompted them to pay attention. Trash and food lie on the floor when it appeared staff had plenty of time to keep joking around though. Drink station was a jumbled mess. Trash bins inside were overflowing. I pre ordered on my phone becuase I was in a hurry . I walked in the store with it empty and they told me I was 20 minutes early. I asked if the lady they could make my Togo on the front line since there were five people standing there doing nothing while two people were swamping making to go orders. They told me they couldn't make it on the line in front where there was no line. I asked then if I could just cancel my order and then order in the empty line. They told me no. So I sit there and wait and then my order was 15 minutes behind what they said so I sat for 35 minutes waiting for an order while 5 people stood in back doing absolutely nothing. I actually cried I was so frustrated and late to my kids sporting event. I understand this is not the employees fault and more a policy of Chipotle that is just so unfair to customers and employees. The employees in to go were stressed and grumpy and the others just shrugged at my issues without care. Was excited about this being opened near my house. I know it's going to go through some growth stages, but the food was not even room temperature. All the ingredients were the same temp, protein, rice, beans... Added quac, so now I can't even nuke it for a second to make sure it's reached a proper temp to kill any possible bacteria. Even paid for the adobo ranch that I couldn't even try with my food. Being from CO I've had my fair share of chipotle... But this was bad, I hope things turn around because the food consistency was not what I'm used to. read more

Corporate!! Please help this struggling store. I been to this location couple times now and it's been same. The serving sizes are inaccurate (I got about a quarter of spoon full of steak not exaggerating) while person behind me got full scoop from another employee. They were out of beans and chicken. We waited for Chips that ended up under cooked and chewy. It was under staffed while a line was building while the manager/staff member was out back smoking. Went there with my fiancé tonight (ordered to go) thinking that it would be really good since it was the first week this location was open.... WRONG. The place was FILTHY. They were out of steak. They were out of guacamole. They were out of cheese. They were out of fajita vegetables. The menu had margaritas listed, tried to order, they said that was the wrong sign and that's a Florida thing (they sell them at the next closest one on highway K...) They didn't have a marker to label who's burrito was who's. When I brought all of this up to the staff, not a single F was given. The icing on the cake? We got chips & salsa and the chips were almost inedibly stale. As a fan of Chipotle, this was a huuuuge fail. I hope they can turn it around but it's not looking good. read more

the food was good, but there wasn't much of it. As you can see by my picture you can see the bottom of the bowl. This was my brothers (mind you he asked for double chicken). I get they are supposed to limit or ration their portions so its equal but I can literally see the bottom of the bowl. Chipotle on Highway K or in wentzville is better! Leaving a review for anyone wondering if it has gotten any better....it has not. Cleanliness: When we arrived about 11:30 am on a Sunday, the restaurant was a mess. There as a large puddle of sloshed dirty water all through the kitchen and flowing out to the restaurant. Not only did it look unsanitary it was unsafe for the customers walking through it. Every table was dirty and food was all over the floor. Service: Absolutely horrible and frustrating to watch. Somehow they had already run out of rice at the beginning of lunch rush, and while waiting for more to be made, the employees just stood around. Maybe this would have been the time to cleanup/be productive is some way? Watching the employees was like watching toddlers. Nobody moved with a purpose or sense of urgency despite the long growing line. I watched what looked to be a manager slowly go get gloves to put them on and rather than hurrying back to serve, he proceeded to try to "make baskets" by throwing balls of trash in the trash bin. Their inability to serve timely is 1) lack of being ready and prepared for a rush (supplies not being in place like bags which server had to leave station and retrieve. 2) Only one server that also serves as the person at register which is under staffed for lunch hour. 3) Employees will move as efficiently and fast as their manager. This manager moved aimlessly with the speed of a turtle and so did everyone else. Want a burrito bowl? Go to Qdoba instead. read more

We have been there a few times since they opened. They seem to be out of vegetables every time we decide to go there. And the chicken was full of gristle. We are big fans of Chipotle, however this location needs to improve their food selection. The service was ok. And of course the ambiance was just like all the other locations. We will go to the other location which is farther away until this one improves, then we will try again. read more

730 PM. Small number of customers. Staff was polite and greeted me quickly. Downhill and over the cliff from there. Food Prep area and checkout area were a mess, even though there wasn't more than 8 customers and no one behind me. That's the first sign of not wanting repeat customers. The Chipotle at Aspen Grove in Littleton, Co for example was always clean and the food was fresh. This one was messy, had no chicken available, so only over spiced and under cooked beef that was supposed to be plain. Being a new addition to the area I had wanted to try it, so I can now say I did and won't come back for the foreseeable future. Very shocked to find that they were out of EVERYTHING including white rice, most meats, and pico. The line looked like there had been a giant food fight! There was NO one making anything more in the back--this was Saturday at 4pm. Just 3 young kids on the front line looking like deer in the headlights. I assume they are greatly understaffed. Place was a mess. We obviously left and ended up at the Chipotle in Wentzville where we enjoyed a very nice meal--go figure! WOW is an understantment of the management in LSL. read more

Food was good. Service was slow. Restaurant was unkept. Piles & piles of dishes by the food prepping stations. Piles of dirty trays by the trash cans. Floor was unswept and tables were all dirty. Time was 3:00 PM on a Saturday. There was 1 person in front of me in line and one or two people eating. They weren't busy by any means. The staff did not seem in a rush at all. Not bad the first week after opening, but now it is absolutely HORRIBLE. Starting with the nacho chips (if they even have them available) are small, burned and have no flavor or salt. I tried them again today and got a bag of mostly crumbs! Seriously, CRUMBS. As if someone stepped on the bag or they just poured in whatever was left in the bin. It was stupid. The burritos are heavy on the beans and light on the cheese - don't even get me started on the lack of meat. In all, this place has been a COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT. read more

I've been there three times since they opened. The first time was promising, the online drive thru lane was quick and I received our order, which was correct snd pretty well prepared. The next two times were fast food disasters. Both times I arrived at the suggested pickup time only to wait another 15 min in the pickup line, only to find that the orders still weren't ready when I got to the window. Both times, when I finally got the order home it had wrong items in it. The first time there were completely different "mystery entrees" rather than what we ordered (3 instead of two) and the second time my crispy corn tacos ended up being flour tortillas tacos smushed up in aluminum foil - the soaked tortillas were inedible. My wife's bowl was loaded with rice that she didn't request, and they neglected to provide two sides of guac that were ordered. I think we'll give them a couple of more months to get their act together before trying again. Oh, and we tried to fill out the survey they request you to do but it asks what location your order was and when trying to select the new location the browser went into spin cycle for quite awhile before reporting that request couldn't be fulfilled. read more

Patiently waited an hour for my pick up order. As I waited and looked around the place was filthy. Everyone was yelling at each other and the kid who I kept asking when my meal would be ready confused my name five times. I normally love chipotle but this is the worst location in all of St. Louis. I would highly suggest for whoever is in charge to teach time management skills and communication skills this beautiful location that everyone was so excited about the opening is now disgusting and terribly managed. read more

Ordered a Burrito Bowl and the people behind the counter had no idea what I was talking about - IT'S ON YOUR MENU!!!
