Hands down one of the worst Chipotle experiences I've had. This location is in such a nice shopping center, and unfortunately, the food and service did not match the area at all. We placed a pickup order, and the steak was completely burnt--dry, hard, and honestly not enjoyable to eat. I also paid for DOUBLE protein, and what I received absolutely did not look like double steak. It looked like a regular portion. I attached a picture because y'all can judge for yourselves. On top of that, the pico, chips, and tortilla I ordered were missing from the bag. I brought everything to their attention, and I was initially told that because I paid with a gift card, the best they could do was a BOGO entree. And I'm sorry, but how does that make the situation right? I already paid around $20 for an entree with double protein that I didn't actually receive, plus missing items. Why would I need to spend MORE money to get compensation for an order that was already incorrect? They eventually offered a free entree instead, which I appreciated more than the original offer, but even that still doesn't fully make up for what was missing. I paid for double protein, so receiving a free regular entree later doesn't really replace what I originally paid for. The crew working that night just did not seem to have it together. Between the burnt steak, incorrect portion, missing sides, and the way the situation was initially handled, this was just a frustrating experience from start to finish. I love me some Chipotle! I have been ordering steak burritos for years and have always loved them. I have never been to this particular location before tonight, and the whole experience was fine. My husband and I both ordered steak burritos with pinto beans, sour cream, cheese, and pico de gallo. They tasted like the typical Chipotle burritos we have always had and like. At the soda machine, when you press water it just keeps pouring out! I told an employee and he pulled on something to make it stop. This location seems to be a "teen" hangout with groups of kiddos walking in, cursing loudly, and just overall being a little rowdy. Our kiddos had cheese quesadillas with rice only and they were fine too. The girl in the front would say "Welcome!" As some customers walked in throughout our time there. Overall, the experience was okay. The food was good, employees were nice enough, and we left feeling satisfied. First visit to this location, which is in a nice and newer shopping center with lots of parking and easy access. Inside, the vibe isn't the typical Chipotle. This store feels like there needs to be improvements: dining room isn't very clean, employees don't all seem happy, and quality and availability of food is lacking. I normally order barbacoa, but it was out with no mention of if there was a new batch cooking? So I got the steak instead and it was chewy, with some pieces I had to spit out because they were too fatty. The chips, queso, and salsa were good. The restroom was clean and well stocked. With the push of a button, I can reorder it, and drive through the Chipotlane, ten minutes later, to pick it up. There is little to no wait behind other cars picking up their order. Service has always been friendly and attentive here. The pricing is reasonable at $9.15 per burrito. The app also allows me to accumulate rewards points for an eventual free order. Sometimes, I've eaten here during lunch break, which is popular with a line almost out the door. This makes for a lively vibe. read more

This has got to be the world's worst chipotle. It's been open for a while now and is clearly incapable of getting their act together. Literally every time I go (doesn't matter if it's lunch or dinner, off hours or rush hours) they are out of at least one item. Today it was white rice and steak. I have literally never been to a chipotle that was out of white rice but sure enough this place is. The brown rice was under done and crunchy (maybe it's always like that I honestly have never had it before because chipotle having white rice is as standard as it gets). I wish I just didn't get rice. The guacamole that I paid extra for (on two entrees and as well as a side for chips) had ZERO salt in it. Never tasted such bland guacamole in my life let alone at chipotle which typically has the best guacamole. The other issue with this place is the supervisor or manager guy who is there most of the time (not there today but since im going to go out of my way to write a review after finally being fed up with it) who literally just sits next to the cash register and puts things in a bag while one person is running both stations on the line. He will literally sit there and not jump on the line helping out while the line build up and up and up. To the point where people just turn around and leave eventually. And he just sits there doing nothing. Again I've never seen anything like this at any Chipotle I've ever been to. Just head scratchingly terrible optics to sit there and watch a single employee try to do the tortillas and meat station AND the veggies and salsas while someone works the register and then this manager guy just sits there and watches the customers wait 15 or 20 minutes to get a meal prepared rather than hop in and actually help get things moving on the line. This place is a complete failure of a store. I have been to hundreds of Chipotles over two decades plus of eating at this chain and this is by far the worst one I've ever been to. A total shame and honestly embarrassing. If I didn't know better I would honestly assume they were competing for the worst chipotle store award for some reason. read more

My family and I have been to this location three times and every time there is something they are out of. First time, no chicken or steak - so we left. Second time, no rice, no chicken, no queso. This time around, no white rice, no chips, no queso, no steak. We never see more than 3 customers at a time and the employees get super overwhelmed. We've seen managers walk to the back when the customers start getting upset. They have also overcharged us twice and were super unapologetic about it. Hopefully they step their game up! read more

I've been eating at Chipotle locations for over a decade. I love Chipotle. Just not this Sunset location. It's a shame because it's the one closest to me and it's fairly new as well. But right when you walk in it's a bad experience. Everything is dirty. The floors, the tables have food on them, it doesn't appear as though anything is ever cleaned or wiped down, and it's never particularly crowded either so I can't even give them a pass for high traffic being the culprit behind the mess. It's especially messy behind the counter, where the food is prepared and that's never a good sign. The workers for the most part aren't very friendly, and I've had entire experiences where no one says a word to me throughout my entire ordering process except to tell me my total. I even had the misfortune of hearing a worker say to another worker regarding a mobile order "it's whatever, who cares" which is unsettling especially because I did a mobile order a short time later and the food quality was awful. Lukewarm proteins, bad cuts of meat, multiple occasions where ingredients were unavailable and zero concern was shown by staff. I won't say everyone is bad at this location but I've had several bad experiences here, and for that reason I will drive further if I want Chipotle. I would go beyond not recommending this location to friends and actually recommend friends avoid this location. I'd love to be able to give them another chance but with so many things wrong I don't see a drastic change coming and there are so many other locations and other food options nearby that I just don't see why giving them another chance to serve me bad food is in my best interest. read more
