I was so excited when this Chipotle was opening right by my house and then I tried it... This was easily the worst Chipotle I have ever been to. My boyfriend and I went for lunch and tried to order 2 burritos with a side of chips and guac and 2 drinks. After both of us went down the line of things we wanted, it came time to roll and neither of our servers looked like they have ever rolled a burrito before. After a solid 5 minutes of attempting they said they had to make us new ones, we warily agreed. Their definition of "making us a new one" was getting 2 new tortillas and pouring the the contents of the old wraps into them! Which at this point was just a blob of mixed everything, with a good portion of it landing on the counter and not in the new tortilla. After seeing what was happening the cashier walked over and kindly wrapped up whatever was salvaged for us, then she re filled our side of guac because they had only filled it half way. Just before we walked off in shock we figured we would at least get some drinks, but no, there was no syrup in any of the sodas of sodas or juices. In conclusion, take the trip to Farmingdale if you want Chipotle. read more

This place is just terrible. I've given this place so many chances since they've opened to fix the issues, but they haven't. It's a shame because it's so close to my house, but I'll drive to farmingdale instead. The place feels like it's staffed by people who have never been to a chipotle, it's extremely unorganized, the prep station is a mess, and the staff is extremely slow. Today I went there at 1:30 pm, doors were locked and a sign on the door saying they're closed. Inside the staff appeared to be eating pizza and having a meeting. I agree with everyone's statement about the food being bland, I can't explain it but it has hardly any flavor, stale chips, gummy rice and brown guacamole. There's always a door dash line, and there's never enough line people serving customers, but there's more than 4 people doing online orders. The prep station is always a mess, with food being cross contaminated into different pots. They use the same spoon to scoop out vegan sofritas as they use with chicken. I've gotten so many free entrees from this chipotle due to them doing a terrible job and even then the free entree is inedible. Every single time I come to this exact chipotle something goes wrong last week they dropped my bowl and made me pay for a new one, or a month before that when they put meat I. My bowl when I ordered a veggie bowl etc..... somehow something always goes wrong. Oh but today today they only put rice,beans, sour cream and cheese which is not the only thing I ordered I also got on my bowl lettuce,corn,salsa, fajitas quac etc all the fixins but they forgot all of that. My suggestion.... go to one of the other closer surrounding Chipotle's. When you order a salad, common sense usually would tell you, a person likes to put dressing on the salad... Order a salad, get to the cashier and was told "our blender is broken and we won't have dressing for a few weeks", I then ask what should should I put on it? The answer was "I don't know". Maybe if I was told when ordering the salad there is no dressing, I would have ordered something else. I've ordered twice from here and when I tell you it's the worst chipotle I've went to, it is not an understatement. The first time I went, first the counters were extremely dirty with food, pushing past this, the rice was uncooked and the chicken burnt to the point it tasted like plain charcoal and was not eatable. The second time again the rice extremely uncooked and they claimed it's simply how it's made. Only the tiniest portion of the rice was cooked, tasted so bad and hard. Tonight I got a burrito and a burrito bowl and it was not good. First everything was very cold! The burrito was so stuffed that when I took it out of the bag it fell apart! The server put on so much sour cream that it turned everything like a slime! The bowl chicken and beans was very cold. The quality of the food in the bins did not look fresh. I was so excited to finally have a chipotle in Lindenhurst but this location is just not it. I have given this place multiple chances, and each time my experience has been just as bad. At first I gave them the benefit of the doubt since they were a new location, but it seems as though the employees here still have no idea what they are doing. The first time I placed a mobile order and I didn't even have to open my bowl up to be able to tell that it was not even a quarter full. I had ordered extra rice and they maybe put half a spoonful inside. In that same order, I found pieces of the avocado stem and pit in my guacamole. The chips at this place have never been not stale. The employees are on top of each other slapping together people's orders SO SLOPPY that food is flinging everywhere and I always end up with something in my bowl that I did not ask for. The counter is COVERED in leftover food to the point where it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in days. This entire place just looks so unsanitary and disgusting. So to make long story short, I got scammed by these mother truckers. Because I got 3 bowls(one was $11.85, the other one was $9.85, and the other one was $8.50). so my total should have been around $34 with tax included, and I got charged $45. I know $10 is not a lot of money but if they continue to do this they are taking advantage of MY MONEY and everyones else's. I was going write a bad review but I see many other reviewers already have had the same experience as I have had at this Lindenhurst Chipotle. I was happy when this store opened because it was close to my home. Unfortunately the staff is rude and arrogant, the prep station is a filthy mess with food spilled all over the counter into the other ingredients, the food is bland and tasteless. everytime I go here they are out of major ingredients, one day it was sour cream, the next time it was guac, the next time it was steak and salsa. Either they were out of it or they were just too lazy to make some more. If they are always running our of ingredient then the manager needs to be fired for poor planning. This isnt a busy store and there is rarely a line (Now I know why) so there is no reason to be out of food. I walked out last time after complaining and went the Chipotle on Rt 110 in Farmingdale and it was so much cleaner and properly stocked and the service was great. I've been here a hand full of times and only twice have I had a classic chipotle experience. The rest of the time they are out of chicken, out of limes, out of guac, yellowing lettuce, or skimping on portions. It's not even at the end of the day when they run out of items on the menu. It will be in the middle of the day and the employees look at you with a blank stare like if you ask if they will be making more and then tell you "no". They opened during the pandemic so I gave them the benefit of the doubt, like perhaps they did not get proper corporate training since no one could come out in person. I thought I was the only one lol. I have been here 3 times. The first time, I left because the wait time was not worth it. They were busy, so I can't knock them for that. 2nd time, I ordered and was paying for my food. The bill was $9.35. The cashier said "oh sorry we do not have change, do you mind just paying $10.00" I was kind of surprised that he even had the balls to ask me that. Last time I went was a day after the snow storm. The place was an ice hockey rink. There was no way to get in without sliding. My goofy self managed to get to the door, the door was locked. 6pm on a weekday. All the employees seemed to be cleaning. I try once more to open the door. An employee made eye contact with me, then put his head down and began cleaning again. WTF. I slide back to my car and I wait to see if I was the jackass. The next customer same result. They closed for some reason and it looked like they were fully staffed and cleaning the place thoroughly. No sign on the door saying closed. No salt on the walkway or parking lot. Someone may have gotten hurt that night, it was that icy. I guess something was contaminated or a Covid exposure so they had to close early. But maybe give customers a heads up with a sign. This new chipotle is one of the worst restaurants I've ever been too. Time and time again when I go their there's something new; "there's no chips left" "we're out of hot sauce" "oh sorry I rung you up incorrectly". This is not an over exaggeration, I wish it was. They've only been open like what, 8 months? Maybe? And they've already gone through new management? The workers are some of the laziest kids I've ever met it's actually laughable. I was picking up dinner for my son tonight and unfortunately I didn't read Lindenhurst's reviews before going there. If I would have know sooner I would have gone to farmingdale where I have been 1,000 times and it has always been a pleasant experience even when it's so busy and there's people waiting out the door. The counter at lindenhurst location was disgusting from all the food they spilled on it and not being cleaned. I even said to them you guys should clean this area it looks really bad and the response was we had a long line and haven't had time, then she brought my food to the register and said to the cashier what it was and to ring me up he proceeded to tell me how much it was I wasn't ask would you like any chips and drink or anything else like all the other stores do. When I worked at a fast food place they main thing was customer service and up sale always offer the customer other products which I did want I wanted to buy a drink and chips too but instead I was asked to pay. VERY disappointed, not a well run location. Too bad it is in my town. So I waited all this time for this store to open and now I have to drive to Farmingdale any way. Whom ever is in charge of this store has a lot of work to do. This store might be successful but it could do 1,000 times better if all this issues are taken care off. My mom and I were so excited to come to the new chipotle near town hall on sunrise highway because it's closer to home. We got there and the place looked great when we got inside it looked nice too. We were sitting in line for a few minutes to order. When waiting my mom spotted a large amount of lettuce from making previous customers food. My mom was upset by how unclean a new chipotle could be. As it came my turn it was way worse then some spilled lettuce but every topping they had left all over the counters of every section of food. The white rice had parts of brown and a bit of red. My guess is it came from the black beans being spilled all over the counter. As I waited to add more toppings to my bowl I looked over at other people's orders and saw they remade a customers burrito with two tortillas. The burrito wasn't even that big and it looked like it only needed one. They also mixed up almost every order and I had to correct the worker a few times what order was mine.
