Ordered Garlic Bread with Mozzarella. Packaging was inefficient and ruined the item. Was to be shared by multiple people but it came one part thrown on top of another and couldn't be separated at all. Basically a big stuck together mess. The chicken was well seasoned and not dry at all! The pizza was really good too. It was HOT coming out of the oven, the sauce was very rich & sweet I think the sweetness comes from the caramelized onions & natural sweetness of the tomatoes. Not to mention, the crust was DELICIOUS. Usually people throw out the crust because it's too hard or dry. The crust we had on this slice was thin. And flavorful with the olive oil! We ate the whole slice crust and all so fast! Our order of garlic knots came out a bit later as they were in the middle of baking a new batch. But it was worth the wait! The garlic knots were a good size, soft, FLUFFY, and had lots of parsley and garlic butter. I love that they weren't very dense. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bathrooms are very nice too. Order food here on a week basis, to be delivered. Tonight's delivery was terrible. I received a call from the driver saying he was here. I opened the door and asked him where he was as I did not see anyone. He said he could see me and then suddenly pulled up. He said I could come out to get my order. I wrote a negative review on the delivery service. About 30 min. later I received a phone call from the manager of The Pizzaria. Came here for a late lunch on a weekend and fell in love almost immediately. First of all, what's not to love about pizza, but second of all this place knows how to feel a little special and a little different with the small space they've got on Wellwood. We tried the Uncle Benny (pepperoni, sausage, hot honey, fresh mozz), the tri-fecta (fresh mozz, vodka, pesto, and red sauce), bruschetta, and a Sicilian. The standard Sicilian to their specialties were all well done, but the two favorites were the bruschetta and the tri-fecta. Buyer beware though for the bruschetta, if you can eat it without making a mess of yourself, you're a better eater than I! Would absolutely love to come back and try more of their pies and even their other dinner options all sound incredible. The place has a definite "younger" vibe compared to many established pizzerias... nice little bar area and several tables. In nice weather, they open up the front glass accordion doors to the street and adds to the ambience. Not a bad regular slice but the most of their pizzas are more specialty in nature. The Thai Chili Chicken is a particular favorite. Only negative for me is a small one...I had a calzone with ham and they make it with Prosciutto instead of ham/ham. I'm not a fan of Prosciutto so ... The pasta itself was tough and rubbery as if it had been either frozen and defrosted or dehydrated from refrigeration or simply left out. I mean how hard is it to make fresh pasta, really? I ordered 2 slices Sicilian, 3 garlic knots and 4 zeppole. We love this place! So happy they came to Lindenhurst. My boys are still so young we need a casual and fast place ( with good food obvi ) to have a sit down meal. The girl bartender that has been there each time we've come is super sweet, gets your drink and order in fast and literally has a smile the entire time. You sit yourself at an available table and can either grab some slices or whatever they have displayed at the counter, pay at the register and eat OR order through a server from an actual menu. They have beer and wine and their own specialty cocktails but no liquor. The sangria was pretty good. Really nice atmosphere too with the entire front opening into a patio on a hot day. Salads are huge, pizza is delicious, and the wings hot and crispy. We got so much food and our bill was half of what it usually is at other places.
