Food was good, but the overall experience was very disappointing. My child's milk was served room temperature, and the service was extremely slow and disorganized. I ordered online and waited over 30 minutes past the scheduled pickup time along with about 12 other customers waiting on mobile orders for over 30 minutes. Meanwhile, walk-in customers were able to order, eat, and leave before I even received my bowl and kids quesadilla. What concerned me most was watching an employee sweep the dining area floor while wearing gloves worn while just preparing food, go into the back room, then return directly to the food prep line. I'm hoping gloves were changed in the back, but from a customer perspective it did not appear sanitary or reassuring. This was my first time having Chipotle. The food was delicious and very filling, everything tasted fresh, chicken was flavored well. But.... The service at this location and the cleanliness of this location left something to be desired. There was a clocked out employee chatting up some customers in line, holding up the whole process, all the employees behind the counter were getting involved in these convos and we felt very ignored. Today i decided to come to this location and the woman working the line was very snarky not only to customers but towards other staff. I did not appreciate it and I'm sure her coworkers don't either. Customer service definitely needs some improvement. I don't typically complain about the actual food but my chicken was barely cut up I had to cut it up myself the pieces were way too big. Not sure why this is the case. In the past the portions of the food have been decent for whatever reason when we went in there recently the portions were really small maybe half a scoop for the meat and even less so for the rice. The rice barely covered the bottom of the bowl. It was busy there were a lot of people in line but to give less food just because it's busy is not a valid way to run. I ordered my food for 6:40 because I wanted to pick it up by then and still have it hot and they made it before that time so by the time I got home with it (a 10 minute drive so not much) it was room temp. If I can make it from chick fil a to my house with hot food in a simple box this should have been even slightly warm. They jumped the gun and made the order early then they marked it as done, didn't have it on the shelf, and we had to wait for someone to come bring us our order from the back where it was clearly sitting for awhile. The chips are also insanely stale, honestly it's the worst chipotle I've been to and I've waited an hour for my order at the Ithaca location before. Chipotle just hit one out of the park again! I had two bowls and chips to pick up and I was in and out in less than 7 minutes! Caleb was especially helpful in putting together a chicken bowl for my wife that had limitations due to her dietary needs. He piled on the few ingredients that she is allowed to make for a great dinner (and lunch later!). What really struck me about Caleb was his upbeat, can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile, or in this case to the back room. Understanding that my wife is gluten free, Caleb went to the back to get fresher salad to insure there would be no problem! He then explained that his mom is gluten free also. Disgusting all the way around. Line was ridiculously long/ employees were slow, rude, completely unprofessional.. and worst of all DIRTY. The food was everywhere- not one employee takes pride in anything they do. No smiling, no communication. Nothing. Then one worker starts wiping the mess on the counter with a gross rag, AROUND MY FOOD BEING MADE BY ANOTHER EMPLOYEE. The beans were literally black soup- and the worker didn't even attempt to drain them. My son got a rice bowl with chicken- she gave the last half a scoop of dry crusted chicken from the bottom of the pan, after acknowledging there's all fresh chicken cooking that was almost done.. then proceeds to serve us that. $45 for my 3 kids to get a bunch of nasty food with even more gross attitudes! Also it was freezing rain last night and we watched 3 people slip and fall right outside the entrance. Just left this Chipotle 20 minutes before they close and I have never had a better experience anywhere in my life ever. Charles, Alaina, Zach, and Carter were the most genuine people I've ever met in my life. It absolutely made my entire week to talk to them for 10 minutes with so many laughs. A great chipotle location! What makes this location so great is the customer service here. We have catered an event with them and when we checked out, they offered us a coupon deal that they knew of, so we saved $50! Last time I went, a member of my party requested rice without cilantro, and they made a fresh batch with a choice of white or brown. The employees seem to really care, and are always pleasant at checkout. It's to the point now that they don't open for lunch (due to staff shortages), they don't accept cash most of the time (claiming it's due to the coin shortage that doesn't exist) and at one point they didn't have CHIPS for over a month. None of the changes are announced on the app or website. In fact, sometimes they change that days hours at the time they should be opening, so I'll drive there to find it's closed. This is unacceptable!!!! I've concluded that customers don't matter to this company and they take for granted the fact that people will keep coming back. I personally am done and Chipotle will never get another dollar of my money. If you have issues with staffing, coinage or anything for that matter, then you should communicate it on your app or website. Otherwise, suck it up and do what's right. Good riddance!!! read more

Food is always pretty good, consistent with taste. Completely the opposite with portions. I'm not sure who the people who work there think they are, charging an arm and a leg for certain additions to your meal (Guac, Queso, Double meat, etc.), and then proceeding to give you less than half of a normal serving. The portion sizes they use are an absolute joke, and it never changes. When you ask for more to get what you pay for, they are rude and act like your the bad guy. If your going to charge me a ridiculous price for add ons, give the customer wtf they pay for and don't cheat them. I'm a 240 pound grown man and If i want extra meat, then give me a full portion, of what I pay for and not some little baby ass scoop to try and make less work for yourself by having to eventually make more. Over the summer, a coworker suggested we go there for lunch. This was my first time. This Chipotle was at a bad location. It was hard to find and the parking leaves much to be desired. The menu was confusing. There was these unusual names, that lacked some much needed descriptions. I really did not appreciate that they charged extra for a tiny bag of tortilla chips, or that they charged so much for a dollop of guacamole. It was really expensive for just a pile of stuff just thrown into a cardboard bowl. The best thing about the place, was the plastic utensils are really solid and probably dishwasher safe. (You betcha, that I threw a handful of forks and spoons in my bag on the way out.) With that being said, it did like the food. I will probably go back at some point, but not too soon.
