This might be my new favorite place for takeout seafood boils! I'm a seafood lover and have now ordered twice the party sack #3! Cute crab shack ambience, it's a hot spot so order or arrive before the dinner crowd. My first visit was a Saturday around 6 and it was crowded and not a seat to be had! All the seafood platters being served looked amazing, so I knew I was in the right spot! I was greeted as I approached the counter and was assisted with my take out and recommended popular party sack combinations. I ordered #3 which includes a lobster tail, one cluster or 1/2 lb snow crab, 1/2 lb shrimp (I recommend requesting Head Off!) a piece of corn, and 2-3 potatoes. I chose Cajun seasoning and, very hot spice. Warning you best be a very spicy hot lover, it was challenging but loved it! I have already returned for a second time, also #3 sack added extra corn $3 and extra potatoes $3. CrabnGo special seasoning and still extra hot! Delicious not as over the top as Cajun Hot! $47 and change with the added corn and potatoes. $42 and change without. Only one quarter piece of corn first order and two potatoes. Love it! I've had take out from here before, but eating here is great! One thing I'm particular about with seafood restaurants is I hate when it smells like rotting old seafood. This place smelled fresh as a daisy. Everything was clean. No bad smells. The staff were friendly and helpful. Drinks and apps came very fast, and dinner wasn't too far behind. Wow this food was phenomenal and service was attentive and caring. Extremely clean and oceanic decor with a fair amount of tables. My friend and I were in the mood for snow crab so chose to do 2 lbs with medium spice. Food came out quickly with the perfect amount of spice and piping hot. After we let them cool for a few minutes cracked em and enjoyed the most tender juicy sweet meat and perfect amount of spice and sauce. Seen this place by my hotel, and I was craving some crab. I got the Party Sack #2 (1/2 lb shrimp, 1 lb crab, 3 potats and 1 corn). They let me choose head on or head off on the shrimp, no cost difference with the sacks. I let them choose. Ended up being 3 clusters and 8-10 shrimp. With the sacks the sauce is the "crab n go" sauce, which tasted like everything mixed lol. And I got no spicy. The crab tasted really good, I started to mix it in the sauce halfway through and it was really good. They gave me no-head shrimp, so it was extremely easy to peel. The 2 working the tables always came by to check on me and make sure I was doing ok. They were very polite. I also really enjoyed their choice of music. I'd definitely come back to this place. Always a bit skeptical ordering crabs away from the coastline, but this place was definitely worth the trip. The customized boil option was key. But I wasn't disappointed because there was something better waiting for me! I got the half pound Snow crab legs and half pound black mussels with their special house sauce with the highest spice level. Man, it was hot and delicious!! I wasn't sure which sauce to order, but the owner (I asked her if she owns the restaurant and she said her family owns it. What's the difference lol. She was a really cute and friendly young woman) guided me very well. She asked me to try the house sauce if I liked lemon and garlic flavor. I am happy I tried it! It was the best!! The seafood was fresh. Crabs had lot of meat, very sweet and delicious. Mussels were well..mussels. I also asked for a side of Boiled Eggs in it, so they threw in 2 boiled eggs to the mix. If you're looking for amazing seafood in CNY, this is the spot. This place is phenomenal! I went for lunch and had the spring rolls, fried shrimp and Friday Special (lobster tail, 1/2 pound crab, 1/2 pound shrimp seasoned with corn and potatoes)....OMG everything was perfection! I ate every last bite (of course I had to share the apps...sadly lol!). The spring rolls were fresh, hot, and crispy and the dipping sauce was amazing. The fried shrimp was outstanding, the shrimp were massive and the breading couldn't have been better, crispy and flavorful and the shrimp were cooked just perfectly. The sauce with the fried shrimp was THE BEST, seriously they know what they're doing when it comes to dips and seasonings! The Friday Special was everything I was hoping for. Every part was cooked exactly how it should be, and the crab n go house seasoning is seriously the best combination of flavors. I ate everything and still could've eaten more that's how good it all was. On top of the great food, the staff was wonderful. Our waitress was polite, funny, personable and attentive. She had amazing suggestions and honestly I have a feeling everything here is wonderful. This spot is definitely one I will be going back to and will recommend to anyone I can. read more

I travel all over as an over the road truck driver. Have I had many buckets? Yes. Was this the best one? No. Was I absolutely blown away that here in Liverpool, NY, in my home neck of the woods, there resided such an establishment? YES! I am blown away that word of mouth has not traveled to me of this place! The portion size for the Friday special I got was perfect. Very reasonable prices on the seafood here. I thoroughly indulged in the flavors and deliciousness of the boil. Nice crab legs, smaller lobster tail that I couldn't be definitive species, delicious none the less, and about a dozen of so head off shrimps. The bag included corn and potatoes that were equally indulgent. Put a little bit of the spices from the boil on the corn and enjoy! Potatoes were perfect and of course a necessity of any good boil. I also took it upon myself to try an order of hush puppies. They were great. Hard to find good ones! Get that vinegar ready or just eat them plain, you'll love them either way. I dipped one in the boil too and used it to soak up some flavors. Yummy! This was enough food for two for a good date night. I finished it off solo, but we don't have seafood in the Midwest where I moved too. When I come to the east coast, I always eat my fill before going back! I got grub hub to my truck and my meal arrived within 45 minutes from order to Cicero from Liverpool. That's pretty good considering what your ordering, it's not fast food! Seafood done right! I have been burned by a couple of crab places before. Ironically they had over a 3.5 and in some cases 4.8 stars on yelp. So I've always been a bit hesitant to try another specialty seafood crab place. I always read that good king crab has a natural sweetness and almost effervescence of the ocean. Unfortunately the establishments I've been too have always managed to either have a bad supplier or somehow in one instance served it rubbery and in another dry and tough. I digress though to talk about Crab N Go! This place does it right and man did I actually get to taste a premium high quality crab that actually tastes like how everyone says it should! This littler restaurant is quite tiny so be aware that if you plan on dining in it would probably be best if you have a party of more than two to try and make a reservation if possible? Phone coming through the front door the first thing that hits you is a lovely aroma of seafood and spicy Cajun goodness that just make you feel like you're walking down a seafood market. This restaurant has a unique menu in that they have a preset section and a build your own! Very awesome if there are any things you like and or don't and want either included or excluded in your delicious variety of food. I got an order of 1/2 pound or half a carapace of king crab 1/2 clams (because I have a clam addition) and 1/2 mussels ( I also love mussels ). This was all in a custom order, then after choosing which options you'd like they have about 4 if I recall correctly flavors you can do. Cajun with a tiered level of spiciness, garlic butter, lemon pepper, and their special. I got Cajun medium spiciness, also side note all orders come with corn and potatoes. Wow was it amazing, seafood books served in bags, which I thought was peculiar and interesting. The portion size I though was going to be way too big but it was perfect for me and I polished off every little morsel of delicious meat I could find. The king crab was to die for! Super super juicy, I was making quite a mess of my hands. Tender and succulent, and with the Cajun seasonings you just can't beat it! The freshness was soo good you didn't even need to use the cracker. I just snapped the leg gently in the middle one way and the other and the whole shell just slid off to reveal a perfectly intact section of delicious juicy meat! The clams were good too! However they were quite smaller and a few of them kind of got mushed up and separated. These were not little necks as I've become so accustomed to with "steamers". The mussels were great too! Everything perfectly cooked tender juicy and bathed in a delicious perfectly seasoned Cajun spice! The potatoes a red russet I do believe were a very nice and welcomed addition. The corn was some seriously good too and fresh, crunchy, flavorful and also perfectly cooked. All in all this place has some seriously good eats and if my budget would allow I'd probably come here more than I really should. So for now this will be my seafood craving splurge spot. A touch more expensive but in my humble opinion worth every dollar and then some! If you're a sea"foodie" like I don't hesitate and go in a grab yourself a nice bucket full! read more

if I could give this place, no stars I would. I ordered the catfish and fries when I got my food. I thought it was chicken tenders because they flower their fish and chicken flour instead of fish flour and I am from the south. This is a disgrace this is like a slap in the face I don't know who's idea it was to batter your fish in that flour but it is disgusting and you guys really should use a better fish seasoning.
