Unfortunately, this Chipotle has gotten worse and worse throughout the last year. I have a strict diet because of food allergies and can only eat the rice, beans and guacamole. I was denied extra rice, beans and guacamole after asking multiple times. My bowl was hardly filled halfway and I was still charged the amount of a regular bowl. The server was extremely rude after I explained that I could only eat three things. Drive a few more miles to another Chipotle. I would suggest avoiding this one. read more

I rarely give Yelp reviews, but after reading all these horrible ones about this location my husband and I decided to still give them a try to judge for our selves (as you all should as well). We live right up the street so wanted to give it a try. The service was not rude, the food was not cold, when my husband asked for more beans there was no attitude. And lastly the service was indeed prompt. Seems they might have had a good "talking to" and "shaped up". Long story short... we will return to this Chipotle location! I take it back... they need to get it together! They are so busy rushing you thru the line that they are not even listening to you when your trying to make your order. DON'T use the delivery service. Almost 2 hours later and I have no food. First order arrived on time, but opened it up and realized it wasn't mine (driver probably grabbed the wrong order, honest mistake). Put in another order and get notified it was "delivered", nothing... No food outside my door (and confirmed that with my Ring doorbell that nobody showed up). Ordered delivery a week ago and my orders were fine. They put cheese on the wrong bowl but oh well. Today i ordered delivery again, exact same order. Everything was thrown into the bowls like slop. Worst customer service of all time, the internet was malfunctioning and we were placing a large order. For their convenience we attempted to call and place the order over the phone. We were told they couldn't accept a phone order that large. When we came in and ordered the restaurant was fairly empty. By the time we were leaving they had a rather long line. Seems like they are always out of major ingredients like brown rice. The staff was rude and argumentative. When the manager was notified of the issues she seemed as if it was not out of their normal. Very small portions and try to charge you for everything extra even when it's switching one thing for another. Quality is poor. Customer service, management, ownership is lacking. This used to be a good place to eat and thought that the costumer service was great. Till I came Saturday and I dropped my food. I had prove and a video to show it was the bag. This location is very stingy with their cheese. Can't believe I'm even making a review like this but I i asked for extra cheese, there was less than a handful of cheese left and even with that she decided to be petty and use 2 "handfuls" in which she didn't even use all the cheese. So i waited till another lady rang me up and asked her for a side of cheese in which the lady (not knowing I know Spanish) says I put two handfuls of cheese charge her extra. And the cashier told me it would be extra, I said excuse me extra for cheese? I said she didn't give me extra cheese to begin with. Maybe if you weren't so stingy I wouldn't have to ask you for a side of cheese. This Chipotle location at Lorton Virginia is by far the worst one I've ever been to. They had the slowest person working the line and she made me the smallest burrito I've ever seen. I was so excited when this place opened because it's only a couple of miles from my house. I keep coming back because I love Chipotle. But management really needs to get it together. Service is always SLOW and inefficient regardless of whether the place is empty or full. The workers never have a sense of urgency. I am convinced it would be busy like every other chipotle I have been to if the service was better. The young people that work here are apathetic at best. I've never really seen anyone who looks to be in charge, and I come here all the time. I may have to start heading back over to the Chipotle in the Saratoga shopping center. It's an extra 10 min from me, but at least my to go order isn't always messed up or poorly made. Oh, and the steak is always chewy at this location!! Very frustrating. If I could leave no stars I would. Ordered 2 burrito bowls for my office and there was barely any meat in both! Filled up with rice and other toppings to "make up" for what was missing! Went to this Chipotle today and was horrified to watch one of the workers in the back busy preparing food, stop place food on the area of her hand between her thumb and pointer finger and eat it (putting her gloved hand to her mouth) without changing her gloves, she continued to prepare food and sample food numerous time....comping up to the counter to replace food while chewing her samples. Wow. Where do I start?! Skimpy servings, incompetent, unprofessional, food "throwing" staff, what's next, salmonella?!?! So we see the long line and get excited because that means the food and service is good! So we thought... Nope, the line was long because the server in charge of rolling the burritos and finishing the bowls is SLOW as a SLOTH! He's obviously still learning. Forgetting to provide extra items, and trying so hard to get those burritos to stay together. Also, the line halted for a bit while the cooks got some more rice. Wrong answer, the food should be in a constant cycle, no breaks! That's not the only issue with the cooks. One of them was very obnoxious in his mannerisms, switching food bins haphazardly over our food, not considering the stale water that could fall in it from the bottom of those metal containers. THEN... this guy had the nerve to "help" Mr. Slow Poke on the serving line by putting some lettuce in a small container for a customer and SLID IT ACROSS TO HIM LIKE A FREAKIN HOCKEY PUCK!!! I've ordered delivery a few times now from this location. Each time the food has been cold, which is weird because the delivery is the only thing I can't complain about, gets there fast. The portions are tiny, a rip off for the price where as if you go in, it's much better and the chips have been stale EVERY SINGLE TIME. Go in if you need to have food from there. Their serving was very small compared to the other branches, like a scoop of rice and about 8 or 9 slices of beef!!!!! Dear Lorton Marketplace Chipotle - please get some training from another Chipotle so you can improve your operations. This is not the first time I've had a bad experience at this location. Went to Lorton Marketplace Chipotle tonight around 7pm and they were running out of toppings, no brown rice, white rice ran out too but they were cooking up a new batch. How do you mess up an order when theres hardly anyone in line. I ordered a veggie burrito bowl and the lady asked me if it was chicken? I said no, it's veggie but you can check. She was clearly not paying attention. The two ladies in front of me were getting a free lunch because they messed up their order the day before.
