I ordered for pickup at 11:30am, and they said they were short staffed so the order was not ready. Instead three of them spent time arguing with another customer (over the lack of service as well). This location is terrible! It is mismanaged and every time I go they don't have the basic offerings available. Today they didn't have any veggies or steak on the line, but they are more than happy to sell you a veggie salad at the same price without the core peppers and onions that make the foundation of the salad. Then the manager wants to charge me extra for a tofu substitute that the line worker said she could give in place of the veggies. I won't be back anytime soon. The Madison Chipotle was very poorly run, filled with mindless people running around having no idea what they are doing. However, there is a silver lining. There was one employee named Anthony that was incredibly dedicated to his job. He treated me, the customer, as his #1 priority, not just some person he has to serve. He perfectly wrapped my burrito, he was quick but didn't rush anything, and it seemed like he genuinely enjoyed doing his work. Anthony is the best damn chipotle employee I've ever seen. It's the little things (like customer service) that matter. We were famished after taking a college tour and luckily stumbled upon this Chipotle..thank goodness we did because not only was my food delicious (it never disappoints) but the service that we received from Jose and the manager Felipe was exceptional. The men were both so friendly and welcoming to our group of five people. Jose went the extra mile to make us feel good by asking us question such as how our food was after we finished, which I never experienced before in Chipotle. From what I witnessed while having my meal there, Felipe the manager was doing a great job with his staff & keeping the customers happy. I don't understand the obsession with Chipotle. I've had the burritos and the tacos before, and while they're pretty good, it's really nothing I'd write home about. The meat is seasoned well, but I honestly dislike the rice. There is way too much rice in the burritos (which is usually why I opt for the tacos) but even then, there's something about the rice that just doesn't work with the tacos in my mind. The amount of food you get is okay. I wouldn't say I come away hungry but I also finish my meal. The service is pretty good at this location though. I don't know. It's a Chipotle. It's not amazing Mexican food, and it doesn't feel very authentic, either. It's a bit bland and a bit boring. read more

Just ordered on their app. Got there 10 min after the app said it was ready. Wasn't ready. Not surprising as it happens all the time. What was surprising is this time they didn't have it ready because they were out of cheese, rice and most meat. Gotta be kidding me. And worst of all, they can't refund our money. Catering Review. We used Chipotle catering for our 30 person Cinco de Mayo party. Chipotle has catering down to a science with easy ordering on the website. When I called customer service to update my order - they were immediately available and helpful. Catering comes with everything you need and the delivery person showed up right on time. The staff is amazing !! Michael took such good care of me. I have Celiacs and when I come in he makes certain to never cross contaminate . The food is delicious the servings are generous. Everyone is always smiling friendly courteous and Extra helpful. The manager Jen makes sure everyone is on point. They even ask how how the meal is while we are eating. The servings were huge. It's Chipotle. If you haven't eaten at one, it's either by choice or you've been living under a rock. A couple of good things to know about this location: * It gets very very busy at dinner time. Between 6-8p, it's pretty terrible. A combination of families and Drew college kids descend into this place. * You think, "I'll be clever and order using the app/website." I've tried this multiple times. No matter what time you say you want to pick it up, they don't make it until you get there. It's annoying. I end up sitting there for at least 10 minutes, despite having pre-paid. Parking at this location can also be challenging. It's a tiny parking lot. read more

I'm a serious Chipotle lover, and this one does not live up to other Chipotle locations I've been to. Service is slower, parking lot is a nightmare, and the ingredients don't seem to be as fresh. I tried it when it first opened and thought all of these things, but chalked it up to it being new and needing to work out the kinks. It's been open for over a year now, and I went back a few days ago. All three of those things haven't changed, especially the service. It took me 30 minutes to get a burrito bowl. All the ingredients are ready, you just have to put them in a bowl, so it baffled me that this process takes so long. In regards to the ingredients not being as fresh I'm convinced it's whatever's in the salsa. Both times I got mild salsa and eating the salsa alone you can tell something's rotten or off in it. read more
