This is a new law for chipotle at this location, particularly, so I went there a few days ago and I got a chipotle bowl with chicken Al Pastor and I got a extra chicken bowl on the side, you know what they did? You would think that a chain like chipotle has great controls over inventory and quality, but this restaurant does not. I've ordered many times from this restaurant because it's close to home, so believe me when I say it needs a process review and training. Many times I have ordered and received the wrong order (I have a kid that likes hard taco shells and often gets soft). Other times I order online to pick after work and while I arrive at the time the food is promised, I have to often wait for 15 minutes or more. Chipotle is my favorite of all time, this is the closest chipotle to me so I've gone to it quite a few times BUT it has the worst food of any other chipotle.. the people who work there are lazy and act like they hate their jobs, and that probably plays a part in why the food is so bad. I went in one time and the entire tub FULL of guacamole was dark BROWN all the way to the bottom, the lady insisted it was okay to eat, but never should that even be a question. I came in another time and a woman asked for extra chicken and the worker started arguing with her about it. Not good at all. I'm not sure if my experience is specific to this location or if I'm just not a Chipotle fan. For one thing, it was absolutely freezing inside partly because every time someone entered or left the door stayed open. The employees saw that I kept getting up to close it but didn't do anything to help keep it closed. The food was also terrible. The rice was so oily, the "mild" pico de gallo set my mouth on fire, and the one chicken option was also so spicy. Lastly somehow I paid almost $45 for tacos and 2 kid burritos, all of which were pretty much inedible due to said spice. read more

Picked up a weeknight chipotle chicken burrito bowl and took advantage of their BOGO deal (a nice vaccination incentive)! The BOGO deal was one day only and it seems the rest of McLean took advantage. The line was wrapped around the store by the time I left. The chicken burrito bowl was great, everything was freshly made. The staff dealt with the chaos very well and were pleasant. Maybe I'm starting to tire of Chipotle. It does seem like they are omnipresent in every community. Inflation has hit them, which of course means we will. I used to find them a better bargain. On a plus note a nice staff here, and also a fairly relaxing location. This is in McLean, and not far from the county of Arlington. Parking is plentiful. The tacos can be skipped. There's nothing remarkable about them. I consider them boring. A bowl provides sustenance, and the chicken or steak ones are decent. They are healthier than other fast food options, and do provide protein before or after a workout. I like their guacamole, but they want to much money for this as an extra. Serving sizes are okay, and this works for basic purposes. read more

More often than not when I go to order a burrito in person I encounter a situation where they do not have all the ingredients that I would like. This time it was being told that they didn't have guacamole. When I reached the register I noticed a worker at the online station fill a container with guacamole. When I mentioned this to the person who made my burrito she seemed frustrated to be called out. I asked if she could now add guacamole to my burrito as clearly it was available. She said she would provide it as a side. So now I have to go home and make my burrito because she was too lazy to do so. I'm sorry, but between the frequent shortage of ingredients, the significant price increases (my burrito was $16 - rice, beans, barbacoa, hot sauce, lettuce cheese, guacamole), and much smaller portions its becoming quite difficult to continue frequenting Chipotle. read more

I hate leaving low star reviews but everytime I order from here they consistently mess up my order to the scale where they give us something completely different. If you order a kids meal for the kids, they will up charge it into an actual meal FOR $12! One time they gave us the ingredients but mixed it all into a bowl. I will not go to this location anymore because there are guys from the construction site behind the building that harass, yell, threaten, and storm up to you if you try to park in the chipotle area parking. They are so aggressive and they even yell at me when I have my three small children with me. They are unidentified and they only tell me to take it with chipotle management and then I cannot park in the area. The last three occasions in attempting to get some tasty food I have been unable to park and thus had to take my business elsewhere. The owner just aggressively yelled at me (and my child in the front seat) asking if I spoke English bc he had the parking lot blocked with tiny cones and I drove into one. He had the entire lot blocked off and you couldn't even tell bc the cones were too small and too few. Then he banned me from this Chipotle. Um, ok. Legitimately the worst chipotle I've ever been to. Tiny tiny scoops. I rarely feel the need to ask for more of something, but that's how tiny the portions are. You have to beg to add a little more of items that are simple like salsa or rice, and they make you feel dumb for wanting an adequately sized bowl. The meat scoops are awful. And though I requested extra rice, extra beans, extra fajitas, and extra sauce, the bowl was somehow less than half full. I just read a few other reviews suggesting that this establishment frequently rations its portions or is just plain out of an ingredient. Last time I went here (a while ago), during lunch, they told me they were out of the chicken al pastor, while proudly displaying the "TRY OUR NEW CHICKEN AL PASTOR!" signs everywhere. This place is worth zero stars. I will preface this by saying I am not a fan of Chipotle and I prefer it Qdoba however given the lack of options in the area for fast food I settled on this one due to walking distance. I ended up getting hard barbacoa tacos. Almost all of the fillings except for the meat container cilantro which I absolutely hate vile weed. That left me very little options for filling which included hot sauce and lettuce. Not very filling at about $10 with tax. Also the places completely filthy in fact it's one of the worst fast food establishments I've ever been to in quite a while and this includes some of the filthiest in New York City. They really need to clean the tables and wipe them down. Service is a bit bizarre given that they couldn't answer simple questions at the counter. Glad I tried it but I will not be back read more

Just saw the reply from Business owner and I have sent them an email on this issue since yesterday. Even sent a scanned receipt...no reply from Chipotle!! This is going on 5 days into the incident and every time I reply to Chipotle emails keeping the subject lines as instructed...THEY DO NOT ANSWER or REPLY!! What is going on?!? Very limited parking. No signage at all in the restaurant. I asked if they were new. Answered no. It looks like the place was opened during renovation and they never renovated. Food was watery and cold. The food was so watery...as they rolled up the burrito...the server tools handfuls of napkins to sop up the mess. When arrived home the burrito just fell apart. Total mess. I tossed it. This was the most sterile and uninviting chipotle I've entered. Hopefully they will add signage inside and help present better in both appearance and quality of food. Quite possibly the worst staff they could possibly hire. We have ordered here on a number of occasions. We have never gotten a complete pickup order from this restaurant. We have stopped going there because of it. It would be one thing if they forgot something of mine. No big deal I will get over it. But oh they mess up the kids meals. Now I've got two problems on my hands. I wonder if these people have ever been around a group of children when the parent announces that ...insert anything here... has been left out of your meal. I also wonder, since it has happened so many times, if they may be doing it on purpose. Now if you want a little attitude with your guacamole, then you have the option of ordering in-person. My perfectly nice wife went in and was perfectly nice and was met with a barrage of attitude from across the counter. Twice. You can't see it but I am shaking my head here. The food is, Chipotle. So its unfortunate that this place is off my list. So really your only option for actually getting your food is in-person. I would like to say I have been coming to this store for quite some time and the experience here has been quite interesting. Most of the workers look likethey dont want to help and pretend to be cleaning to no one available to even greet you while waiting to be served. Well I would love to put out there whoever the cashier was in the night time that guy was taking care of business. He greeted me told me someone would be right with me. Saw his fellow server struggle with the burrito and when needing fajitas which the young girl called out for and no one replied he even jumped on the grill to take care of it with such ease. I asked if he was the manager and he told me no. And the best part of seeing him in action was he is always consistently smiling whenever I make a visit. The other insane part about this young man he remembers all your needs size of drink I love that!!!!!!
