The burger wars have bored me. There are so many chains. Z Burger in McLean is solid. Is it expensive? Absolutely but it is in perhaps, the richest part of northern Virginia. One area that sticks out, is how fresh their never frozen beef is. A quite tasty burger, lots of fries. Definitely try one of their real ice cream shakes. Impressive! Extremely friendly employees. The customer service aspect is incredible. Props also on an extremely clean dining area. As long as you remember a little pricey, you are getting good quality here. My family and I have lived in the area for 3 years or so. It is the best fast food burger joint in McLean by far*, almost identical to Five Guys . My only critiques are that the burger was not crispy to my liking and they missed the barbecue sauce I ordered. If you like Five Guys and are craving a burger, this is the spot. For 3 people the price was around $50 before tip, that includes a drink and a milkshake. Do not order the large fries unless you have 4 hungry people! We ordered it and it was way too much for us. Also, as a huge Dr. Pepper fan I was shocked when we moved. Z-Burger is the only restaurant with it and a few other Panera style juices. The milkshake was good and they have I think 75 flavors so there must be one for you.
