There needs to be a warning if something contains jalapenos. Right now as I'm writing this I'm lying in the hospital I'm highly allergic to them they were somewhere in the tacos that I ordered. Chipotle is a decent place to get quick and tasty burritos and bowls, but the inconsistency of what you get is a major downside. Sometimes your order is completely correct, and sometimes you are missing half of the toppings you asked for. I've been to this location twice in the past couple of weeks. The first time I placed an online order and picked up my bowl to go. When I got home, it was missing three things, including queso which I paid extra for. The second time, I placed my order in the store. The employee was very nice, but I wish they made customers aware at the beginning that they didn't have fajita veggies. My bowl was already halfway complete before I asked for them. I do like that you now have to ask an employee for your to-go order rather than pick it up off the shelf - I'm sure this prevents people from taking the wrong order. read more

Like all chipotle, this one is the same. They have the same options and the service and ambiance is alright. They don't seem like the happiest people but hey, it's fast food industry. The only thing I was concerned about was the lettuce from both the beginning section and the end (bc the lady in front of me did not want rice and only wanted vegetarian option on her bowl, she got the lettuce from the front end) and I wanted a bowl with everything so I got the lettuce at the end of the food line -------- but they were both lettuce with pink edges. Idk if you know this about lettuce but the pink hue usually means the lettuce have aged. I am not sure how long they left it there or how long it's been cut but they aren't fresh. So that was slightly concerning. Esp since the ecoli outbreak with the lettuce and lemon and id think they'd use more fresh lettuce. I don't have that problem generally speaking going to the California ones. And I love chipotle so don't get me wrong. That just caught me by surprise. All otherwise the food is good! read more

The food was fine. It was a chipotle. The online ordering experience was frustrating. We were quoted a time that was 30 minutes before our food was ready. Also, while I was waiting, they had to announce that there was a 15-20 minute wait for chicken that probably contributed to down of our online order being late, although they announced the wait 5 minutes after our food was supposed to be ready. I don't think it's anyone at the restaurant's fault per se, but it's hard to not be frustrated by a 30-minute delay for pre-ordered "fast" food. read more

This is my least favorite Chipotle restaurant in the entire Richmond area and, of course, it's the closest to where I live. I guess I continue to give this location a chance because it's convenient, but they let me down time and time again. First, it is nearly impossible to get a correct order when using the app. If they are out of something, there is no indication on the app, and there is no attempt by the staff to make any type of correction or to contact the person who placed the order. They just simply throw it in the bag and you get what you get. Actually, that's true whether they are out of something or not. They cannot be bothered with reading orders or to try to provide quality service. I now check my orders for accuracy before leaving the building. Most of the time, when I bring an error to the attention of the staff I am met with a hostile, go fuck yourself attitude. They could care less that the order is wrong and they do not want to deal with problems. Their answer is "oh well, you ordered it on the app so you have to go through the app to make a complaint." They are unwilling, and have no desire to to make your order right - even while you're standing right there. Then, you are forced to deal with people on the app that have no connection to the store and can't ensure action or change. They are armed with hollow gestures like "a free drink with your next order." It's infuriating that this is what is considered acceptable service. Dining in is only slightly better. You still get to experience the "I don't care" and "I hate that I have to work here" attitudes but at least you can watch them make your food. They still don't listen when you speak though and "light" sour cream still means an entire spoonful. Today, we got this pint size burrito in our order. When we asked why it was small, we were told "I don't know. Maybe we were out of something when it was made." We asked for it to be remade and after some discussion, the employee just said "complain to the app" and turned around and walked away. So, the person who got the burrito for dinner was just SOL, I guess. Who cares that there is no immediate resolution? read more

Definitely a hit-or-miss location depending on who is working the behind the counter. There is not much consistency when is comes to portion sizes between workers so you really have to pay attention when they are making your food if you're used to a certain amount. The last time we came to this location there was a pretty long line, and it would move inconsistently as the worker starting orders was struggling to keep up and wasn't asking for refills of ingredients before running out completely so the line would have to stop and wait. After getting our food, we decided to sit down and eat and there was plenty of seating and the tables did appear to be clean. While we were eating an employee did walk around and sanitize empty tables and clean the drink station, which was nice to see. Overall, I would recommend going in to order at this location versus ordering online and picking up in store due to the inconsistencies. read more

This location consistently sucks. Always out of key items and the employees consistently have crappy lazy attitudes. Tables, floors, and seats are usually dirty. Chipotle is my go-to fast casual meal, and while many of the workers are very nice at this location, operating hours, use of the cash register, and menu availability are extremely inconsistent. Yesterday I arrived at 4:45pm and they were closed, yet they had still been accepting orders in the app. I watched more than a dozen customers who'd already paid for their meals be turned away without their food. This location also frequently runs out of items like cheese, lettuce, or beans, or stops food production and closes an hour or more before the listed closing time. The POS system has also gone down numerous times when I have visited, sometimes for weeks at a time so only app orders are accepted. I feel terrible for the workers, especially the teenagers, who then get harassed by angry customers (which no matter how frustrating the situation is never acceptable). read more

I'm a little surprised to see the 1.5-star rating at the time of this review but I have had back-to-back below average experiences with this store, and both were door dash orders. The first experience to make a long story short was that I ordered a burrito and chips and salsa, and I ordered the food at 8 pm and I get a text message from the door dasher that the ran out of chips and salsa and didn't have two ingredients for my burrito. It was also a rather long time to have my food and I had to call door dash to ask for a refund as my burrito was cold. The latest experience occurred on June 27th, and I ordered a burrito and chips & salsa around 6:30 PM. The food was delivered to me rather quickly and the dasher was friendly. The burrito was huge and was very good buy my 5-dollar chips & salsa order was in a brown bag with 1 cup of queso and the bag was 1/3rd of the way full. Very skimpy and overall would not order again. I will probably try going to the store next time but both dash experiences could've been better. read more

She then gave him another pathetic scoop that all together was maybe 1 serving of steak. I asked her to give me a good scoop when she did mine and after scooping out my chicken she shook the spoon so half of it fell off. I had to get double meat and ask her for more of literally everything. She was unpleasant and rude, gave me a sour look when I asked for more corn and shook her head when I asked for more cheese. The portion sizes are incredibly small but I had to pay $15 for a burrito bowl. If you see the server with red braids just go somewhere else. read more

Every time I attempt to go here hoping they now would have better staff I end up walking out. They treat their customers horribly and have no urgency to get work done. I went there today and walked out of the line along with 4 other people because only one person was on the line helping the long line even one girl was just sitting on her phone not helping and then when she finally did get off her phone to help someone asked her for more meat and she shrugged her shoulders, rolled her eyes and said, "I mean... that's already enough." Wow. I left. I will not be giving my time or money to a place like that. A time before this I ordered my food a head of time. The app said my food was done but there was no food in the pick up area so I thought, "no problem. I will sit and wait for a little while until it's ready." I sat there and waited. They were empty at the time. No line. I waited for about 10 minutes until I thought maybe they have a new system and keep the food back there until you tell them you're there to pick up food and give your name maybe to avoid stealing. So I went up there even though no one was at the counter. I said, "Hi. I'm sorry, excuse me. I am here to pick up an order for Lindsey Leach. I didn't see anything in the pick up area wasn't sure if maybe y'all had a new system for the pick up orders do that."
