Most of us that go to Chipotle already know the concept and either they like it or not. My review today will be about my disappointment on 26 Feb visit. I ordered on my app a burrito with pork, beans, rice, lettuce, picante, sour cream, and cheese. Whomever made this burrito, put all the cold ingredients at one end of the burrito and all the warm ingredients at the other end. So my first mouthful was nothing but picante salsa and sour cream. About half way through I started to get some rice, but then got full. I never got a bite of beans or meat because they put it all in one spot. Im not sure if this is protocol or not, but what a horrible way to make a burrito! I don't think this is protocol as I've never had this issue in the past and have always enjoyed a Chipotle burrito. But not today... terrible job. In the future, I will just get a bowl and a tortilla on the side and so I can mix the ingredients first or at least layer them horizontally instead of this mess of a burrito. I will also just go to the Chipotle closer to my house. I was in the area but don't normally go to this location. Update 27 Feb: I contacted the website as Sheldon suggested and all they did was say "sorry". I even added screenshots so they could see Sheldon had sent me to them. Guess it didn't matter. Once she began making the bowl I asked for pico, she adds corn instead, she asks if "I even like corn" and I tell her no. I figured okay, no big deal she'll just remake the bowl, but nope. Everything was dirty when we walked in (tables, trash areas). There were no customers in line and very few eating in the store so it wasn't busy. The line was also filthy, with food everywhere. I inquired about allergy accommodations and was met with rudeness. Two different staff members spoke with me and said they would ask the manager. The manager themself didn't come out to help resolve the issue, but the staff member said there were no allergy protocols that could be taken, so we were forced to leave. The staff at this restaurant is really friendly, but unfortunately, the cleanliness leaves much to be desired. The food wasn't particularly impressive either. Wow! Bad wow. This location definitely needs senior management to take a look. This is for the New Haven Location. Anytime we order online, the order is messed up so we opt to go to the Palm Bay location instead. Because my husband was in charge and not me, he tried to order online after work...spent time plugging in order....multiple times and order wouldn't go through. So 8pm, my husband and I drive up. Immediately, the location felt rank. The light fixtures over the tables were so rusted on the inside, you can see rust flaking off. Who wants to sit and eat with the threat of that falling into their food. Clear heath code issue overlooked by management. I get to the counter to place my order. The marketing photos of limited time brisket...less than a quarter cup of crumbles nothing like the photo. Not appealing. Okay...my tried and true sofritos. Nope, we're all out. Fajita veggies? Nope. We're all out. Okay, what time do y'all close? 11pm. Okay. Then my husband goes to order brown rice. All out. Sigh. I get up to the register to pay and see a marketing board for drinks....yum, the watermelon limeade sounds delicious. Can I have that? We're all out. Mind you, three people helped us in these interactions. Same response from all. What is going on tonight I ask? Cashier said, "that's just the way it is." Walking out, I see all of the drink dispensers empty. What a joke of an encounter as a former hospitality manager and food and beverage manager, I recognize these kids are not doing their job, but even more so I recognize the management of this establishment is a major part of the problem if not the problem. Someone from higher up needs to know the severity of this poorly run location. I just can't. I sit here with the takeaway food in front of me because I would not dare to eat there as who knows what else is not being done here, so disgusted. I don't even trust to eat this food. Grossed out by this experience, but that's just the way it is. This location is in dire need of oversight from senior management. It's time for someone in charge to step in and rectify these serious issues before they drive away more customers. The standards of service and hygiene should not be this low. I am not asking for help or a free meal. I am alerting senior management to be responsible and suggesting the leaders they hirer to hold their establishment to the minimum standards. Based on the influx of poor reviews specifically on Google, it is clear so far this efforts to inform are not taken seriously. read more

My husband and I have eaten at Chipotle three times in the past several months. Each time we've gotten the bowls with beans, rice, chicken etc. The food is delicious. The service is ok but they seem reluctant to give you anything extra without charging a lot for it. A tiny scoop of guacamole is $3.00. A little extra chicken and some sour cream, extra. So our $10.00 bowl ended up being $17.00. And the people who work there for the most part, don't seem very happy with their job. Great food but over priced and so-so service. I love Chipotle but...when I decided to place a order on my app I thought for sure there was no way they could mess it up. Boy was I wrong. First I asked for brown rice they put white. I asked for extra onions and peppers and got none. I ordered some other things that was suppose to be extra and never received. In was so unhappy with how it was made. When asking the cashier for dressing she acted like it was a chore to give to me. She put 2 small containers with less than 1/4 in them in the bag. Over all I was so disappointed. I won't be ordering from there again while I'm here. I thought ordering from the app they would make it the way I like it. Very skimpy from ones I've ordered in person from other Chipotles. I should give one star but because I love their salad bowls I'm giving 2. We came to this chipotle on a Saturday afternoon. I haven't been to chipotle since living in New York over 12 years ago. I had no idea what was extra, it was so loud I could hardly hear what was being asked and I had to ask things multiple times because the answers I was getting were barely answers. We ordered a beef barbacoa bowl, a chicken bowl, and two chicken quesadilla kids meals. We asked what beef Barbacoa was. He said it's beef. I was like thanks. I was curious like what the spices were and how it's cooked compared to the other offerings- he goes "its beef barbacoa". When he asked what beans I wanted there was only one type so I asked if there was another kind than the one right there and he goes "yes". He then passed it off to someone else and they originally skipped offering me any salsa. When we got to the end I told the girl this hasn't been a great experience and they didn't say I'm sorry, they didn't ask why, they stood their waiting for me to pay. The food was okay. In order to make it delicious we had to add the hot sauce, otherwise, it lacked any type of spice/flavor which is odd. It was a very overwhelming and dissatisfying experience between the loud music, and the unhelpful rude service- and the food was nothing extraordinary. We had a gift card from like 2018 which is why we decided to even go, but we most likely won't be back again. read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill is probably the fast food establishment that I head to the most. The food is good and for the most part, somewhat healthy. Especially when you compare it to the healthy options at fast food burger places like McDonald's and Burger King. My go-to item at Chipotle Mexican Grill is their burrito bowl. I probably most often get it with chicken or steak, sometimes a mixture of both. However, today I went with the barbacoa. I had two extremes in customer service while going through the assembly line building my bowl. For the most part, customer service was good. However, the woman checking me out was silent and sullen. I wonder if she was having a bad day? However, the look that the girl standing next to her said that this was her regular disposition. This was at the height of the lunch rush hour, so the line was rather long. This particular Chipotle Mexican Grill is obviously a popular place. If you are looking for a true Mexican experience, this is not the place for you. However, if you want an Americanized version of Mexican food served in a fast casual environment, this should be right up your alley. I will give it four stars. read more

I use to go to chipotle once or twice a week. The portion sizes are never consistent. Then I started to go twice a month and now barely once a month if that. I love accumulating points which why I stick around. However, on my last trip on 5/3/24 I asked for extra cheese and salsa. I had four pieces of chicken in my entire bowl. I bought chips a queso and a drink for $25. I asked for sour cream on the side and it was less than 1/2 full. Mind you I do the online ordering and pick up through the drive through. I ALWAYS Tip and round up. At this point my next trips will be to use up my points and poof be done with them. I think I messaged the generic chipotle chat where you don't express your concerns you select the issue. If that doesn't speak volumes. read more

Stopped on a Saturday evening after 8pm to grab late dinner while heading back to hotel. Amazing, fun, and well received at this location, by their staff. Our assistant made order exactly as wanted for each burrito and bowl ordered. We were utterly amazed at how much he stuffed into a burrito and that it never broke or flew out. Seemed like a 2 pounder. Even another employee remarked that it looked like it should have not finalized so perfectly. Nip, tuck, roll , tuck, roll ... wow ! The burrito bowl was delicious and plenty of pork and the extras that make it better. Another employee remarked that he makes the chicken best in area and assured we would love the limited Chicken Al Pastor. We did .... Impressive staff, care and hospitality. We can only offer that cleanup must be a challenge in this well trafficked line of creation and design. read more

I've had some great chipotle , and I've had some bad chipotle, this one just takes the cake. I've never had soggy lettuce, and when I mean soggy I mean wilted, soggy, as if it was thawed out of the freezer. Only giving 2 stars cause the portioning was fair, but a Slimy sloppy mess of lettuce on my bowl, I had to remove it. On top of all that the steak tastes like it wasn't seasoned at all. Only ate the bowl cause I was coming off a 14 hour shift without a meal. Next time I'm hitting up Jason's deli on the other side of the lot. At least they have decent lettuce. read more

We ordered catering for a corporate event well in advance for 100. It was to be delivered between 2:30-2:45. We ordered chicken and steak with all the items to go with, fajitas, taco shells, cheese, sour cream etc. The delevery was over an hour late...We received only the main items. No side items, no Utensils, no plates, no napkins, as well as nothing to serve the food. The owner called asked for the manager, the manager was rude said they were short handed and if we wanted that stuff come and get it. Corporate will be called and notified of this very unprofessional manager who has no customer service and shouldn't be running one of their restaurants. First we couldn't sign in our rewards accounts due to a lag on the 2 factor identification system (why is bank level security essential for a restaurant app). I really try to give this place a second try but no matter how many times I come back here they somehow always manage to screw things up both on the food and costumer service side. The rice is always under cooked, they half ass wrapping the burritos so everything falls out, they don't even read my order correctly (I ordered steak and they managed to put in beyond meat with other vegan crap). This is the first chipotle I've been to in Florida and it was quite disappointing. We ordered a chicken quesadilla, burrito and large chips and queso. The price ended up being about $27. The quesadilla was folded weird so that there was a double layer of tortilla which just got very crispy when they grilled it, the burrito was ok but not as filled as other times I've been to other chipotle locations, and the chips were stale. I didn't even end up eating them and ate other chips we had at home instead. We won't be going back. Would rather order pick up from a local Mexican restaurant. read more

The last two orders that my fiancé and I have placed through the app have been nothing short than disappointing. We both order a bowl and once we open the lid, we find that both of them are not even filled half way. A steak bowl costs about $12 and the portions provided is a joke. I called the store to bring it to their attention, not expecting anything. A woman answered then pretended to not hear me. Sadly, this Chipotle has gone downhill for some time. They are often severely understaffed and oftentimes don't have everything available that your expect. We stopped by today and there was only one person preparing food. This is the second time recently that they've had NO iced tea. Really, how can you not prepare iced tea the night before? After standing by cashier who kept ignoring me, she proceeded to argue with another young girl about mopping the floors and complaining about how she's so glad she's off tomorrow . The manager came back in after his smoke break. Ignored the whole situation as other customers were repeating that they wanted to speak with the manager as they had been waiting forever.
