Stopped in to pick up a doordash order, waited 15 minutes for an order that should have already been ready by the time I got there. Not a good establishment. I have no problem with the workers, they seem like good humble people and they were working hard. There is very poor leadership. The manager sits in the back on his phone and then gives a hard time to his employees on break when he does show his face. I ordered a Sofritas salad through Ubereats, I ordered this salad specifically bc I'm vegetarian meaning I don't eat f*cking meat. So imagine my surprise when I'm eating my "vegetarian" meal and I bite into a piece of steak.. why is there even steak mixed in with the sofritas??? I only downloaded Yelp to leave this review. Very disgusting place, doesn't look like they've cleaned in months. Gloves, packaging, and food all over the floor. The food counter had food all over it, they didn't have much of anything. Mind you I went at 8 p.m and they close at 10. The dinning area was dirty and the drink area was horrible. I didn't expect to like this place because it's basically a lot like Booyah's and other build-your-own places. But I am impressed by the fact that they don't use any GMO's (which I know because they sent me a text message about it) and I think I saw a sign saying they use organic ingredients as well? They also use authentic ingredients such as carnitas and had good vegetarian options, which impressed me as well. I liked all these things, but I still wasn't impressed with the flavor and neither was my husband. We may try them again but ehhhh probably not. Oh, they have this thing called the Burrito Bowl which I recommend because it's easier to eat than trying to cut into the tortilla of the regular burrito. At least that was my experience. This location is not equipped to handle new procedures for covid-19 era with regards to mobile ordering. The app says orders will be made within 15 min (which should accurately reflect the wait time based on orders ahead of yours not some arbitrary number). There are a group of people waiting in small lobby area for their mobile orders. Then there is no way to know if they've made your food/if your food is ready so you have to stand around and wait. In addition no one is answering their phone line. Don't order mobile at this location - it's not efficient. Edit: an employee answered the line after I called 4 times. It's the small things that really count.......like cleaning around the food that's being served. I know places are short on workers but is it too much to ask for the serving table to be cleaned? Probably the worst Chipotle I've been in, and I thought I was in a decent location. The recurring comment here is that the place is not clean and they run out of ingredients!!! I came here around 8 PM, and they close at 10 PM, that's still two hours of business they need to be open for. They were out of black beans, pico, mild sauce, lettuce, chips, and guacamole!!! WHAT IS GOING ON? Then where they did have the food, it was messy, they don't clean up after they spill, so ingredients are being mixed together. I don't normally leave reviews, but this place was a disgusting mess. We came to order at 8:30, they closed at 9:00. Yet, half of the food was removed from the ordering area and the cashier was sloshing dirty water all over the counter to "clean" and close up even though they still had 30 minutes of opening time left. On top of that, the food that was left out was being sprayed with sanitizing spray because they were so eager to close (see picture). So I gotta say, it was hard to find the restaurant and I drove all around the parking before finally spotting it. Google maps location is definitely incorrect. My burrito bowl was pretty good although did have to ask for a bit more black beans as what I got on the first pass wow less than a scoup! It was a newbie being trained I think as the person next to her was telling her what to do. Incredibly poor experience last night. I haven't had Chipotle in years, but used to go regularly (in Michigan). I ordered online for carry out, a burrito bowl for my boyfriend and a burrito for myself, as well as a side of guacamole and chips. I had added guac to both of our meals. I ordered the food to be ready, or what they call a "promise time", of 8:45 pm. I arrived at 8:51, thinking giving them several extra minutes would be good. Well, my food had not even started being made yet. They made it right away when I arrived and gave me the bag with just the meals. I stated that I also had a side of guacamole, to which I was told that they were out. I was offered queso in place of guac. Well, clearly these items are entirely different and if I had wanted queso, I would have ordered it. I asked if it was possibly to refund the extra money (ended up being about $8 extra with guac on both meals and the side), and I was told this was not possible. So, I disappointedly took the queso. I was told I could come back and ask for guac the next time? However I don't think I will be back. The staff all appeared to be quite young and just did not seem to care about the quality of their food or the fact that several people came in behind me also wanting guac. I was barely given an apology for the joke ordeal. Is it not possible to make more? I'm so disappointed and was frustrated with the experience. The food was quite cold as well. I'm just not the type to make a scene. We ate it and my boyfriend said his was good, but he had just run a race so he was probably starving and would have enjoyed anything at that point. This is by far the worst chipotle I've ever been too. I've lived in 3 different states and have gone to Chipotle's often. The employees are always rude and act like they could care less that they are there. They are 95% of the time always out of more than one topping, and 100% of the time out of peppers and onions. Was the most "interesting" chipotle visit. I did come in at 8:45pm after a day of travel so I understand it was late and had forgiveness. The girl that made my order was great, they were out of a couple things I normally get but no biggie; it's late and we're still dealing with shortages. But after my salad was made it was another 15 minutes before someone could check me out. There was 1 girl in front of me and all she had was 1 burrito. The line stacked up because no one would man the register. There were 6 employees working and yet slowest service I've ever at a chipotle. At one point 3 of them seemed to take a group break and all went and got drinks from the fountain machine in the eating area while 5 of us just waited to be rung up. Orders ready, waiting and getting cold for 15 minutes and we all just needed to pay. The chips were very stale, like chewy stale. But that could be because I came in so late. The most worrisome thing I saw was a girl putting food on the front assembly line (the corn, picos, salsas, sour cream, etc) and kept bringing the containers from the back and I watched her grab a plastic step stool, carried it somewhere out of view then proceed to keep bringing the food to the cold bins on the assembly line. The Chipotle staff on Summer Ave in Memphis are very rude, they talk back to you and have an attitude. The supervisor seem like she condone their behavior & doesn't allow you to speak with the manager and when they served your dish, it' like they serving kindergarteners. As I was leaving the restaurant one of the staffer said to the supervisor in Spanish "What's up with that idiot. They thought I don't understand Spanish.
