This chipotle has to be one of the worst most inconsistent locations I have ever been to. Along with the absolute worst employees. Caveat- not the teenagers, but the adults who seem to "be in charge." Some months ago we were waiting on a mile long line, patiently. When we got to the food line there were teenagers and one adult female. My boyfriend and I exchanged some looks bc it just seemed chaotic and as though some folks may not have been helping/sharing the work. The adult woman on the line began helping me, she seemed angered from the day and I didn't think much of it until her insecurity struck and she snapped at me seemingly out of nowhere, "you got something to say!?" I was BEYOND confused. I was just trying to get my food and go, and snapping at a customer? When you literally picked the worst one who is SO patient and understand of the food service industry. She stared me down for the entirety of that trip. Beyond that one of the managers has CHARGED me for sour cream on the side of a burrito. We all know that sour cream is scooped on in an excessive amount, and when it is not it is not evenly distributed. I ALWAYS order it on the side, and not once has a manger argued as to why "being on the side" requires an "additional side" charge. On numerous occasions there are missing items whether it be chicken, steak, or fajita veggies. Timing for replenishing items seems to be HORRIBLE. So while you're paying top dollar for your fast food burrito, also expect to have missing ingredients or not the contents that you want. As if Chipotle hasn't gone down the drain enough in recent years, this location is the POSTER CHILD of awful locations (Damascus isn't much better but at least the employees don't put their bad day out on you). Was there tonight and saw a man come in and explained that his take out order was missing a burrito. The manager refused to remake it as his daughter wanted it. Claimed she knew how to make a veggie burrito and refused to make it the way he requested. Good customer service would be to listen to your customer and just fix it properly and apologize. App orders constantly have missing rice, chips, kids drink, guac or other entire components that I've paid extra for. Too many other issues to list, just stay away! I agree with the other reviewers. I asked an employee if they had someone that could clean a table and he just looked at me and said no and walked away. Avoid this location. New management is needed at this location. I used the app and made sure I put everything each member of the family wanted in their bowl. I arrived at the location a few minutes after the app told me my order was ready and sitting on the self. I went in looked at the shelf and it was completely empty! The Mt Airy location was busy......, just like every other Chipotle location in the planet. I waited a few minutes and no one came with my bag. I went to the cashier who asked me for my name. I told her and before she could answer another employee said it was being made in the back and for me to go back to the shelf area. I know the location is busy but i do not like being talked to like that. 10 minutes went by before any bags came out from the back. They were just tossed on the shelf with no sense if order or care (my order was in the wrong location. After a quick drive home the family got their dinners and found that the sticker on each order was correct as to what was supposed to be inside but in reality each was missing ingredients that were said to be in it. This has to be the worst Chipotle I've ever been to. The store is consistently dirty, with trash all over the area where you get drinks and plastic ware. You can see the cross contamination on the line, with bits of who knows what floating in the sour cream. The employees are either extremely careless or illiterate. Twice I've been given the wrong person's order. My name was on the bag and someone else's name was on the food item. And the name wasn't even remotely similar to mine. Worst Chipotle I've ever been in. Horrible customer service. Rude employees that make you feel like you're a burden for coming in and ordering food. Seen staff eating behind the counter with their gloves on then go back and make orders with the same gloves. Disgusting! Another time, we placed an online order, waited 10 minutes past the time it was supposed to be done so I told them to go ahead and cancel it since they hadn't even started on it, and they didn't apologize for the inconvenience or try to fix THEIR mistake, they found my order and just threw it in the trash with an attitude. I've been going to this chipotle at least once a week (I'm a chipotleholic I can't help it lol) since they've opened that location and they've always been the best... the best food, the best and quickest service... But recently it's been awful... I've only ever had good things to say about this chipotle until now.... The last few times I've been there I've waited in like for AT LEAST 20-30 minutes while I watch the employees either clean or ONLY make the online orders and COMPLETELY IGNORE the growing line in front of them. I was in there today to get dinner and I waited in line for 15 minutes while I watched them only make online orders, except for this one girl who was literally running the line by herself including cashing customers out, while the other girl only did online orders.... After I watched a customer walk i. while I and many others have been standing there for who knows how long and say he had an online order, the workers immediately stopped helping the customers in like and MADE HIS ORDER INSTEAD!! I was done and walked out and went to get hibachi next door. After waiting there for maybe 10 minutes, I got my food and while walking to my car I looked into chipotle and I saw the people who were in front of me in line before I walked out STILL HAD NOT BEEN HELPED, they were still standing there waiting.... HORRENDOUS, ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS how this place is running right now and customer service is despicable.. MOUNT AIRY MD LOCATION 21771- Me as well as a number of other people after waiting in line find out you are out of white rice or a number of other main Ingredients like cheese, salsa, barbacoa beef, chicken salad and walk out upset. Most of the time its 2-3 things at a time!! In this instance it was white rice, barbaco beef, cheese, and mild salsa! Furthermore I don't want something for free! I dont want you to send me a coupon or free dinner etc. I want the Manager that is in charge of the day shift that plans for the evening to be fired as they have no idea what they are doing and are constantly causing the restaurant to run out of stuff way before closing time!! I dont know how many times I have been told at this location while salad is sitting in the bin in front of me that you are out of salad and its not available to me and that it is only available to online orders cause they are going to run out and they have no way of stopping online orders! Same thing with chicken! So I have to look at a bin full of chicken and salad in front of me and not be able to order it!!!! This isn't one time, this is all the time. Customers at this location are walking out every night on the regular. Customers are venting in the resteraunt constantly about these same complaints Im sharing with you now! I am not a person to write review or complain in any way. I cant remember the last time I took the time to do something like this. I love chipotle and refuse to let this store turn into what it really has already. Anyone at the location I talk to just blames the shortages on the shift before them saying they didn't make enough for the night shift!!! The Mount Airy Chipotle is the worst. The food does not taste fresh and the meat is always burnt. I ordered a quesadilla for my toddler and they tried to charge me $5.00 for a small without any extra sides Or drinks. They need an option for just a quesadilla because $5 is absurd. One thing this place is good at is canceling your DoorDash order. This should happen much less than what I've experienced.

Their meaning of portion control is giving less than required amount and then fighting with the customer because they're "simply doing their job". Yet they have no problem playing loud music with obscenities and the n word. This place needs new management and a new crew with proper diversity training. read more

The food is good but I'm very picky and I like my corn just plain, not with diced onions added, if I wanted diced onions I'd ask for diced onions The lettuce is okay, I hate the hard part and everywhere else removes the hard part but it's like Chipotle gets all their lettuce from the other restaurants throwing away their hard parts Good rice and steak though Portions are always small and workers don't give much more when you ask for extra, bit annoying when you have to ask repeatedly for extra. I ordered pick up through door dash, I sat in the parking lot for 25 minutes waiting on my order bc I saw they had a line. Randomly going in I saw my order on the shelf and gave them the benefit of the doubt. I made it to the first stop light and thought about how my food was ice cold last time I got delivery so I checked it and sure enough ice cold. If I pay 12-15 dollars for a meal, atleast make it fresh or tell me when it's ready. My wife and I were glad to see Chipotle open in our town. 2-3 times a month I drop by the Frederick store and pick up dinner. Love the fact that Chip has an iPhone app that allows you to pre-order your food and not have to wait in line for 10 minutes to put your order in. The new location on Ridgeville is small and narrow, and was packed with families and 20 somethings. My food was ready when I arrived. The food was hot. The downside was that: a) chicken was not fully cooked, b) the bag of chips was 1/2 the normal quantity as the Chip in Frederick, and c) they charged me .95 cents for extra salsa. This is something that doesn't happen at other Chips. We usually ask for 2-3 salsas along with our two burritos and bag of chips. Ill be back to see if things improve, and if not, I'll be going back to the Frederick location. read more
