The place is often dirty and unkempt, featuring filthy uncleaned tables, unemptied garbage cans and a complete mess of a soda station. On top of that, they are often out of certain toppings, or utensils. I really don't understand why the Chipotle corporate office doesn't step in and set this location straight. They have a clear reputation for being a sub-par restaurant, and I'm sure word has gotten to them by now. Have only been here a handful of times and none of them were worth it in my opinion. Food is bland and overpriced. Workers have bad attitudes. And for the love of restaurant safety train your employees on allergen policies. Story time. While standing in line to order, there were 2 girls ahead of me. They clearly just left work as they were in their uniforms and probably just want to get their food and get out. I hear her tell them no pico because she is allergic, employee proceeds to add it on her bowl anyways. I am very disappointed in this location. My online order wasn't correct. I had to wait and observed the station where they served from had food drippings everywhere. Only one person serving and one person at the register looking for online orders. Obviously the serving spoons are too large and they are a problem for the servers. Why doesn't the restaurant provide the correct size utensils that can regulate correct portion ex: small ladles, large forks for meat. Also, I might suggest some paper towels to wipe up spills if they occur. I am sure they can do better than what they are. Make it more efficient and maybe you would be able to keep the help. AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS! They do not have enough employees working, and whomever works there tends to sit around while dozens to hundreds of orders pile up. No wonder why people wait 20 minutes to way over an hour after their promised pickup time for their food. The last time I visited, there were two people working, and they were sending out orders really slowly, then messing some orders up. Come 3:00 PM, there was change of shifts. The lunch shift left and the dinner crew took over. Did they go right to work? No! They just hung around in the back. I ordered my food at 1:30 PM, food was supposed to be ready at 2 PM. After waiting after 3 PM with no luck, I bailed out and contacted corporate, whom was able to refund my card for the purchase. I then visited the Chipotle in Fall River, which had the property staffing and was a nicer, newer location. One of the staff members had an attitude there, but at least they were able to give me my meal and I was able to order there. The Dartmouth location had an online only policy (which there are signs on the door stating so). They also do not know how to stock things correctly. One day, they were missing lettuce. Another day, they were missing utensils. Just recently, they do not have chips. If you want mexican food in the Dartmouth area, do yourself a favor and go to Cal-Rito's in New Bedford (locations in Cove Road and Union Street) or drive farther to the Chipotle in Fall River. Outside of Southcoast Massachusetts, the best Chipotle I've visited is the one in East Greenwich, RI on Division Road, which had the best staff and service. Please do not visit this location if you are pressed for time, they only take online orders and you will never get your meal on time or have your order correct. I first attempted to ask the worker bringing the orders out but she brushed me off, so I waited in line to ask the cashier. He was new and asked someone else. They told him that I had to wait for my food and wouldn't look into it any further. Meanwhile at least 15 people had been in and out to have their orders made at the counter, so my plan to save time obviously failed. Myself and another woman finally got someone's attention to inquire about our orders once every customer at the counter was gone and most of the pickup orders were taken.
