Well, this new Panera Bread review is worse than my 1st one. We ordered our food to-go. I ordered the French Dipper sandwich with an apple as my side, a Chocolate Chip Muffie, and a small Frozen Hot Chocolate drink ... hubby ordered the French Onion Soup. So after opening everything up at home I seen that I did not get my apple, and not only was my small Frozen Hot Chocolate drink smaller than small it also had zero flavor. Very sad. Hubby's French Onion Soup, which is supposed to have bread and melted cheese on top, did not have any bread but he had to add his own shredded cheese on top and microwave it himself. So disappointing, especially for the price we paid. The ONLY good thing was that my French Dipper sandwich actually tasted good. I didn't even use the dip, the sandwich was good on its' own, I guess. Probably will not be going back anytime soon. I'll spend my money somewhere else. read more

This place used to be a favorite quick stop for my Cape Cod area to RI and beyond back and forth trips, but after weird experiences this past year I don't think I'll be stopping there much anymore. Today and in previous visits they were out of what is considered regular menu items at other locations. As I recall in a visit this past summer, they had advertised something on the digital menu that I ordered, and then realized they did not have it, leading the manager to issuing me a full refund. Honestly I don't know what to think about this Panera Bread. Starting with parking: There's a lot of space to park your car since it sits at a mall, so it's rare for anyone to not have any parking slots. Service: As said by many reviews, they seem to get your order wrong at least once every time. Employees: In this experience I had, it looked like a new employee was attending me who she didn't quite know some stuff yet and the manager was teaching. Food: It's Panera, I absolutely love the food they have, I'd choose this over any other location guaranteed. Price: Can be a bit pricey but you can work with it. Went into Panera Bread to grab a little breakfast. Thought I would just get my usual Egg Soufflé and a coffee. Everything looked so good I decided to buy 2 egg soufflés, a chocolate croissant and a cinnamon roll. I thought I might as well go home with breakfast and a snack for my husband and I. Well, I should have said something at the cafe when I saw the girl cutting my cinnamon roll from a pan underneath the counter. They apparently made fresh cinnamon rolls which they put on display and gave me the old cinnamon rolls probably were leftover from the day before. When I ate the cinnamon roll at home, STALE as can be... like eating cardboard !!! Not happy To spend good money on what you think would be fresh baked pastry. Buyer beware. I would love to continue to go there as I usually really like their food. But it is getting way overpriced for what you're getting. Day old Cinnamon Coffee Rolls just don't sit well with me!!! Today I placed a pick two order. I got a half Caesar and flatbread pizza. Halfway through my salad I found a dead earwig in it. I immediately became so nauseous and threw everything away. I have ordered from Panera at this location months ago and it was just ok. Today was a different story. I ordered a large chicken caesar salad and when i got it to go and got it home, the bowl was only half filled with salad. What a joke!!! It was hardly any salad in the bowl. Also, Panera already had made the size of these bowls smaller ...unlike a year or two ago , so on top of it already being small, it wasn't even filled. This was NOT what i ordered. This panera has made me completely boycott panera bread as a company. There were two instances where I did a rapid pickup and my wrap wasn't even wrapped and served to me completely open. First complaint I made was over the phone to the manager and she credited me 10$. I gave them another shot to make the wrap properly the following week and received a wrap that was completely open and not folded at all after I was told they forgot to put egg in my EGG breakfast wrap. I took a picture of the wrap and walked back into panera to show the manager so she didn't think I was scamming them. She took zero responsibility and pointed all the blame with an eye roll on training her people. The week following I did a rapid order for a bagel.. because how can they screw up a bagel?! Went in to pick it up and they didn't even complete my order at all. I asked the FOUR ladies in the bakery area about my order...was greeted with urban attitude and they had no idea what to do. They then realized how to do their jobs and said "Well we don't have everything bagels ... so what do you want" No apology. I told them I didn't have time for them to make me another one and that's why I had it as a rapid pickup. They pushed me onto the manger to complete my refund and as I was talking to her to express I needed a refund, all four girls were cackling at my misfortune and the fact they didn't do their job. My husband and I came to Panera after church this morning (10:45). We were surprised that it was not as crowded as usual but it is a rainy day! We waited 20 minutes to be waited on and there was no coffee for almost an hour. When we finally received the Bagel we each ordered they were cold. It is now 11:30 and fora Sunday morning this is usually busy. I know they have been doing a lot of hiring because the sign was posted for a while, however you don't have all knew people on at busy times. Had a pretty unpleasant experience here last night. First, while waiting in line to order I could plainly hear a couple of the girls behind the counter talking about how annoyed they were at how busy they were. I work in foodservice too, I get the feeling, but that didn't exactly inspire warm feelings of hospitality on my first visit there. The customer shouldn't be exposed to the worker's personal frustrations. Second, I sat down to eat with my friend who had a grilled cheese and after eating for a minute or so she pulled out a long blond hair from the middle of the sandwich... beyond gross. The workers there wear ballcaps behind the counter, and if this isn't a perfect case for hairnets then I don't know what is. To add insult to injury, after I brought the plate up to the counter and showed the panini jockey her hair, when I sat back down I could see this female supervisor leaning against a wall and joking about how she found a hair in her food once. Totally unprofessional. Speaking from one manager to another, you'd be doing yourself a favor by making these kids wear hairnets under their hats. You lost me as a customer, but you might be able to keep more in the future with improved sanitary practices and customer service. read more

I've been to this Panera several times, but for some reason I never reviewed it.. This is one of the better locations, parking sucks, but its in a mall.. otherwise, its great.. Today I just went in for a frozen caramel iced coffee, craving cold and caffeine after walking through the mall and spending money LOL The girl at the register was very friendly, service was fast and no complaints at all.. I've had most of their soups and sandwiches on prior visits and have never had a bad experience, the service is always fast and friendly and the restaurant is always clean. The variety of soups is great too, I just wish they hadn't taken my favorite smoked turkey panini off the menu!! Pastry and bagel selection is great too, I only did breakfast here once and everything looked so good, I felt like ordering the whole menu! We ordered takeout for our family. Order takers were friendly and efficient. They take Apple Pay so that was a plus. The food was fine and consistent with expectations for a Panera Bread. Unfortunately as we waited for our order to be filled, from where we stood we saw a collection of dust, dirt and dead bugs on an eye level shelf under their work area. Also lots of dust hanging from the rear of a monitor in the food prep area. See pictures. These 3 stars are mainly because my food was delicious. However, I was shocked, and made to feel super uncomfortable, by some of the staff's behavior. I arrived about an hour before closing. There were about 12 customers inside. As I stood in front of the menu and registers, a group of approximately 3 employees were congregated to the right, hidden behind a wall, but not out of earshot. The girl who was taking orders had a clear view of me and didn't seem to care that a customer was listening to them. They were loudly saying, "When I see them come in, I just want to say, 'Get the hell out of here!' I swear." Then, they were just complaining about work and using horrible profanity. Finally, I heard someone sort of quietly say, "Shhh. There's a customer right there." Shortly after that, a manager came from the area where these employees were. I'm not sure if she was the one who told them I was standing there but, that's the impression I had. I was really surprised that they weren't reprimanded. She had to have heard them. Even if she didn't hear them, why was she allowing three or four employees to just stand around complaining where customers can hear them, when there's work to be done? One of the employees had mopping equipment in his hands. There was obviously work to be done. She didn't say a word to them about getting back to work or watching their language or even (I expected) to hear her say something like, "Can you come out back please?" At one point, we saw one of the employees, who was doing a lot of the work, and not participating in the group conversation, pull this manager aside and quietly talk to her. From the nature of what the exchange looked like, I think he was also bringing to her attention what they were doing. At one point, the manager did glance over to the group that was talking and gave some direction at that point. I think the management at this Panera really needs to evaluate their staff and weed out some of the bad eggs. Panera is a great spot and many people enjoy it. However, I doubt I'd return to this location because of this experience. read more

When the employee came out she was furious telling me that I'm wasting my Time by not going inside. By far the rudest experience I have ever had at a food establishment. I could hear the employee telling other cars the same thing. Even if there is truth to what she is saying there's no reason to be that rude about it.
