This place was literally so disgusting and dirty. The rice didn't even have the cilantro, they were probably too busy listening to the music that was blaring throughout the whole store. There is rice everywhere. The station where you pay was covered in crumbs and rice. The drink station barely worked, the water gave me lemonade. I ordered online from the chipotle website. I work in Oxford and decided to have a burrito delivered to me for lunch. I ordered a regular chicken for my husband, the new chicken for myself, and a side of guacamole and chips. The order was delivered quickly but I noticed right away I had no guacamole, only some stale chips. I ate my very small burrito, which was mostly rice, and was unable to even taste the chicken. There was hardly any in there. It was very disappointing. My husbands had mainly rice also. Both burritos were rice burritos with a sprinkle of lettuce, meat, corn and salsa. Absolutely awful. I drove there after work to ask for my guacamole which seemed to be no problem but when I asked for more chips, since it has been four hours since my delivery and the chips were stale to begin with, I received some mega attitude. I ended up getting them, but I don't know why he had to be so angry about it. It's not my fault the guacamole was missing four hours prior. The place was trashed too. There were receipts sticking to my shoes on the way out, and the place was just littered with food, napkins and receipts. I'll never return to that chipotle. read more

This is hands down the worst food chain I have ever tried to get food at. I have been to many different Chipotles and find this one as an absolute insult to the company who's food I normally love. I have placed multiple orders on various occasions which were prepared at least 1-2 hours later than the time my food was supposed to be ready. One time, they were so backed up they told all the customers to leave without giving any of them their orders. Not only are they unorganized, but their proportions are appalling. I've been to this location many times and it's always a hit or miss. Never consistent. First MAJOR miss was when I ordered lunch for students I supervise for our retreat. The order had about 30 different orders. I faxed the order and called and confirmed 2 days before I was going to pick up the order. The day I pick it up the manager says he doesn't know what I'm talking about. After I assure him that I confirmed 2 days prior he goes back to the office and finds my order. The thing is they had to make all 30 orders and they had a line to the door. I sat in there for another 30 or so minutes and had to be adamant that it was unacceptable and he finally have me a 40% discount. I'm not impressed by the new manager and if I didn't LOVE chipotle I wouldn't go. Well, this review is going to be under a different context from most other reviews for one reason: we came here during the summer when there is hardly any student around. Inside, there's ample seating. Employees work quickly and efficiently behind the counter. The lone downside is that on our visit, this location still didn't have any carnitas. The overall stars for this location needs to come down a bit. Yeah, its Chipotle, so the ingredients are great. However, the prep leaves much to be desired. It seems that since Qdoba closed down, they lost interest in pleasing their customers. The burritos are put together in such a way that you may as well have ordered a burrito bowl. They're overstuffed with the meat on one side and other toppings on the other, the condiments are always squeezed out the side and they consistently fall apart. If I could give negative stars, this place would get it. Place online order to be picked up. Waited over an HOUR to receive that order. I could have went through the line 15-20 times by the time I got my pickup order. Chipotle needs to give up on online/delivery if they can't stay within a 5 minute window. Terrible customer service, no one wants to give answers just excuses. Here's a little business advice for who ever owns the Oxford Ohio branch, hire a staff for walk in and hire a staff for pickup/delivery orders. Never again will I go to this location, and if your reading this wondering if you should try it, don't make the short trip to another location. You'll actually save time. read more

This Chipotle is lackluster in its service and quality. They consistently do not have ingredients available. The rice is frequently undercooked or too mushy. Also, fajita veggies are usually charred. To make matters worse, the employees do not provide the best service. One glaring observation is the lack of cleanliness as the tables are often dirty. Another inconvenience is that they don't hand out trays for patrons dining in like other Chipotle restaurants. In comparison to other Chipotle restaurants, this one is one of the worse. I was doordashing tonight Feb. 4 and still cannot fathom the disrespect I was given for something entirely not my fault. I received the order just after 10 and immediately went to pick it up. The food was already made yet the staff inside refused to give me or two other doordashers their orders. We waited over 20min as they angrily vented so we could hear and laughed in our faces as we could see the orders on the table ready to hand us. Not only was it none of our faults as DoorDash sent the orders late, they tried to rub it in and make it our fault. I understand the frustration of getting orders after close but all they had to do was hand us the food. Instead they completely disrespected us and wasted our time. Best Chipotle I have been to. I always order online since it is a college town and the line is usually pretty sizable. I have had instances where they have been up to 45 minutes late with online order but since I go to it so much and the food is always good, I will give it a 4 star. I eat here at least twice a week and have for several years and it seems as time goes on, things get worse. They never have enough staff which causes them to run low on food so the portions are never what they are supposed to be. Don't even think about asking for extra because they will rudely slap 1/4th of a spoon full of food on your bowl. If you order online there's a good chance there will be items missing and what is there will be incredibly small portion sizes. Most recently, My daughter asked the guy making her bowl for a side of queso and he did not communicate with the cashier so after we already paid I checked my bag and told her that I also had a side of queso. She rudely said "I didn't charge you for queso." So I said "okay thanks?" And then she proceeded to say "well I didn't charge you because you didn't tell me you were getting it" as if it was my responsibility to let her know when I had asked for it previously. Aside from the managers, I think pretty much every employee is rude. Also, with the mask mandate being enforced in Oxford again, the workers have been turning people away for not wearing them. Meanwhile, the majority of the employees do not wear them properly. When I witnessed this happen, the guy making the food had his mask under his chin and the girl who told the customer that he couldn't order without a mask had hers under her nose. I have no problem with businesses enforcing masks, but they need to enforce it for their employees as well. As a regular customer who really loves Chipotle, it is disappointing to have constant bad experiences at one of my favorite restaurants. read more

This chipotle is hit or miss. Sometimes you'll go in and it will be great food but you know it's going to be the slowest wait ever at any chipotle. Sometimes the rice is just way too moist and over cooked. The service can be horrible at times too. I order online a lot and every time I ask for sour cream on the side and NEVER once has it come on the side. It has ALWAYS come on the burrito bowl. So that as well is disappointing. So sometimes I would give it 3 or 4 stars because it taste really really good and they follow directions. I don't know about earlier in the day, but I'd avoid going here for dinner any day of the week or you'll leave with half the food you paid for. The line is out the door and the workers try to juggle two orders at one time instead of focusing on one customer at a time, often messing up an order or two by trying to "guess" what you might want before they ask you. If you ask for extra anything, you're lucky to get even a half scoop more before they push your food further down the line. Don't bother ordering online or faxing in an order, either, because often times it won't be ready for you when you get there. I ordered food online for delivery and unfortunately was delivered an order with items that I cannot eat due to food allergies. Unfortunately, this being my only option for lunch, I had to leave my place of work and spend my lunch to resolve my food problem. I understand that some chipotles are having problems with supply chain and have experienced issues of options not being available, but with dietary restrictions, my options are so much less and substitutes are usually not possible (flour tortillas and cheese when I am gluten and dairy intolerant). Anyways, my food experience was awful, but the employee experience was superb. Taylor Cramer handled my food issue and offered to assist me with a resolution. She went above and beyond to assist with my issue and I applaud her for her handling of the situation. Although I probably will not order from this location again, I do believe that this employee should be commended for her excellent handling of a difficult situation due to supply chain issues with food. read more

On several occasions I've found bones in my chicken bowl and the chicken undercooked.
