The food is usually very good, but the behavior of the employees is not. They made my son feel very uncomfortable while he was there. He has social anxiety and they mocked him when he ordered--perhaps jokingly, but in an unprofessional manner. Politeness is key in the service industry, and we will likely not be returning. read more

Dinnertime on a cold Monday night definitely Not the best time to go for a Burrito at Chipotle. I've really tried to see if this place would improve. it's just not doing that. I've been here several times and this last visit is my last one. the place is just dirty, employee's standing around talking and tables are dirty, floors are dirty, the grill where they cook the meat just looked like its not been cleaned for weeks. it was just gross. I gave it a shot anyway and what did I find. burnt old nasty looking bits of stuff from that grill in my bowl. seriously, how hard is it to clean. how does this place get passed by the health inspector? when it first opened it was great. but after all the issues this company has had, it looks like they just don't care and gave up. I'd stay far away from here. it's not good. seriously you can go to several other Mexican restaurants spend less and get better food. heck try Taco Bell, at least its clean. read more

A Catering order gone very wrong. Had a lunch scheduled with a medical office for 15 people. I had the office call in thier own order and I was told it would be ready at 11:15. I arrived at 11 and I waited. I was helped out with our order, stopped by local Walgreens to pick up drinks and headed out to MD office. As I pull in the parking lot I am told I have to go back as they gave me the wrong order. I notified the office lunch would be late and went back to Chipotle. I get there and I had to wrestle getting all the food back in the restraunt as no one would help me. I get it back in there and I get our "correct order" and the girl hands me 8 cups. I told her I didn't call in the order and I need to know what to put in the cups. She says oh ya, I'll go get the order. I told her I don't understand why I am self serve filling cups on a catering order. This is when I'm told that it isn't catering it was a fax order. Honestly this blew my mind. Calling in an order for 15 people the day before is catering to me. Anyway I get all cups filled and then I ask, are there forks,spoons napkins etc. "Nope, only for catering orders". I did ask for help out to the car. I take everything back to the MD office. We finally start lunch and I'm informed we are short three orders! I had to leave and go back again! I notice they also rang up the wrong ticket, it was to my advantage though. Didn't matter cause at this point the meal should be refunded. I go back because when we called them to inform them of the short orders they say "oops sorry, we don't deliver" and I get a meek I'm so sorry. I pick up the three orders which are now cold and I point out to her she also rang up the wrong way order. I showed her the ticket and told her I expect a refund for making 3 round trips to the MD office due to thier mistake and....it cost my physicians thier lunch hour and basically blew our meeting. She tells me she can refund me but she's happy to return the incorrect ticket and ring me up for the correct order which was even more! I told her no! She then tells me " for future reference fax orders work this way and catering is diffrent." I turned around not believing my ears, I asked how this explains that they screwed up so bad. Obviously catering orders aren't much better as I ran into two more angry customers in the parking lot , the one that had to return with my order wasn't too happy either. I asked her if they were franchise or corporate which she just sat silent for a second. I told her come on, not that hard if a question, which one? She said corporate. This failed to phase her when I said I would report it, note***she never offered any solution to resolve the issues with any of the customers. I would think after thier recent press of food poisoning that they would be more PRG sensitive. So here it is folks. 1 it's a health code violation to send food out of the store with a customer, accept a return and reserve it to other customers. 2. Crappie customer care, and I plan on letting my offices and Pharma partners I work with know this. 3. I will never patronize Chipotle again after such treatment. One mess up I can forgive but three? Do us all a favor and don't disgrace the food and beverage industry by calling this lackluster food and service catering. I work with some amazing restraints that work hard for thier business and this is a disgrace. read more

The food was fantastic and the restaurant was very clean I will say this service is what got them a 2-star. They messed my order up and then sassed me as if it was my fault and then made me wait until every single person in that line had their order placed and paid for before they corrected it. Got there 9:45 pm yes they closed in 15 min, they were finishing up there cleaning of the grill and were out of three meats, I got the last of steak they had to scrap the pan, also got the last few veggies, they had, since they just got done cleaning, figured they stopped cooking food about 9. About 15 people came in after us and there first words were we close in .... Min and were out of ..... . The surprising thing was when I asked that we got under quality portions and old quality food, we still payed full price ? They tried to make me feel embarrassed for saying that, they did give some coupons for my next visit, this Chain I really enjoy and to see this is very disappointing and to see this small town has two locations and have two-three stars is surprising there corporate doesn't care? read more

I've eaten at many Chipotle restaurants over time, from Arizona to Minnesota, and I have never had a bad experience or been dissatisfied with my meal. I order a burrito each time and it's my usual order at any Mexican restaurant. Chipotle has the best burrito you can buy anywhere! The only other restaurant that has even come close is The Lumberyard in Flagstaff, but it's no longer on their menu. read more

Chipolte's may be the only safe place to eat in Prescott. We had the burrito bowl made to our liking and it never fails to make our day. We did have to eat off the tray because it did seem the the tables needed some serious cleaning. Overall the food was top drawer, we sat outside watching it rain and were happy. read more

this place is so delicious. I love chipotle because I have celiac disease but almost all of the menu is gluten free (with the exception of tortillas of course). there are so few places I can eat without worrying about getting sick and this is one of them. This used to be my favorite Chipotle location. I have celiac disease and have to be gluten free. I have never had anyone at a Chipotle not know the gluten free protocol. Last few times I have been in they have been clueless. Also, I don't know what happened recently that is different but this location is pretty dirty all of a sudden. Food on all the tables and all over the floor. Restrooms are in poor shape. To top it off my family is sick tonight after eating there. Guess we will be going to PV from now on. read more

I am on a gluten free diet with severe celiac's disease! I told Chiplote I needed my meal gluten free! They were awesome! They changed their gloves and spoons for each item I had on my chicken bowl! I know I can eat there with confidence that I will not get sick! The staff told me I can count on this service every time I go in there! They are educated on how serious it is to have something cross contaminated! We need to educate more businesses! Gluten allergies are very serious and someone who has celiac disease and does not follow a strict gluten diet can die within 3 years! Celiac disease affects 1 in 100 people and most people do not know they have it until they have serious complications! (See Mayo Clinic!) Thank you Chiplote staff! You are Awesome! read more

Was in Prescott AZ today and the wife suggested Chipotle for dinner. The thought of food from here made me gag. Avoid if at all possible.

Inedible. Reminded me of the "Gruel" in George Orwell's "1984." Meat was mostly grizzle & tendon in artificial sauces. Rice was grey, dry, and nasty. Beans were nearly uncooked and flavored with dish water. Quesadilla was 1/2 of a six inch tortilla sprinkled with plastic cheese substitute. The burritos are. of cousre, a mix of all of these nasties. Lived in MX for 5 years: Chipotle is everything but Mexican food. Watched a server scrape spilled food off the counter into the serving pan. Chipotle's only redeeming feature is that the (expensive-$7-8) burritos are big enough to make a fat teenage boy even fatter! read more

I've got to say I don't write many reviews but I feel like this chipotle could really use some feedback. I went in there on a Saturday evening around 6 o'clock. I showed up with one person in line waiting to be helped, after roughly a minute she was helped which took another 2-3 minutes because for some reason the first guy to help has to put everything on the meal all the way to the register. When he got to me he said "what can I get you", I asked for a bowl. But before he started he decided to start a to go order of about 5 separate items all by himself! Keeping in mind I had already been in there for over 5 minutes he slowly puts together this ticket of 5 orders. Meanwhile there seems to be about 3 or 4 other employees in the back and sweeping the floor for some reason. Eventually it was my turn. No apologies or anything, he seemed actually in a bad mood, not a big deal but very poor service. I will say I got good portions. By the time I got to the register the guy there tossed in my side of salsa and water into my bag and didn't even say have a nice day. Maybe generic hospitality and efficiency is too much to ask from chipotle. I notice it always seems to be high school students who work there, and there experience reflects there service. read more
