Took the family here for dinner the other night. Now I will say it was busy, as expected. But the service was very poor. The girl making my bowl was out of it. I asked for queso and I get it's an up charge but why did I get a small amount. Like literally a teaspoon!! It was about 52$ for what we got. I decided I wanted chips and queso.... Service & Ambiance: staff (with the exception of the first guy on the line 5/18/26) was VERY UNFRIENDLY! Second guy online said nothing, girl on the register kind of grunted something unintelligible. No eye contact. No smiles. No friendliness of any kind. The place was DIRTY. Floors, tables, counter for the line, and windy. The place was not busy. My husband and I hadn't been for years and thought we'd go. Probably not again. I can't rate the food, because I haven't eaten yet. My hope is that it's much better than the service. This Chipotle location has stepped up their food service game. Every item was available in abundance & there were plenty of friendly staff to put the orders together. The seating area was clean & the garbage containers were not overflowing. The addition of the Honey Chicken was a bonus. This Chipotle is still far better than the Prescott Valley location. read more

The service was good but when I sat down to eat my food as I was eating I pulled up what looked to be a long piece of napkin mixed in my Barbacoa meat they made me another Bowl and they were very apologetic but not once did they offer to refund my money I will never eat there again let alone refer them to anyone read more

Tortillla was cold rice and steak wasnt seasoned properly. Only one meat (steak) was available. Girl on the line started sweeping behind the counter with 3 customers in line. Both bean trays were basically empty. I could count the 12 beans in my bowl. Asked for ALOT of cheese and I got a normal amount. And there was no green Tabasco and male employee wears his hat sideways completely unprofessional and he needed to pull up his pants he even had a belt but I guess that was a waste of money . Customers should be main focus not making sure the chip shelf is completely full. Tables need cleaned and spilled soda on floor needs mopped up. The building temperature was way too hot! Ive been going to Chipotle for about 25 years and never had an experience like this at any chipotle or any restaurant. A young man was helping make the burrito and was friendly/professional. Finally I get to the check out counter and the girl is sitting there on her phone watching instagram videos. Eventually after a few minutes she looks up and asks if I want any salsa with my chips. I said politely, no thank you hes already getting me some. She then looked over and asked can you get him some salsa. The young man said he substituted the corn salsa for the salsa. The girl then starts stomping around like a small child, jumping up and down, and going in and out of the kitchen. At first I thought it was a joke or some kind of twilight zone moment. She then takes her finger, puts it directly into the corn in the cup and yells, while leaning into my face, does that look like salsa to you because that looks like corn to me. The young man starts laughing and she then has this blank expression on her face like she blacked out for a minute while acting like an over grown child. She was young, likely a high schooler, and shouldn't be in the customer service industry. Never went back in and am reluctant to go to a Chipotle ever since. The lack of accountability and willingness to scream at customers, put fingers in your food, without gloves mind you, and stomp around is beyond concerning. I went home, had a few bites, and threw the meal away. Save your hard earned money and go elsewhere or shop at the grocery store. read more

Wish I was able to leave a review on food, but I've gone to this Chipotle location just after 9PM when I get off of work and they close early. The guy that works the night shifts puts chairs out in front of the door at 9pm and starts packing up. This location has open hours till 10PM. Pretty sure the last worker of the night sits in his car at the location after he closes early to get in his "hours" before clocking out. read more

Although the food is as expected, the staff is REALLY BAD... consistently. On our most recent visit, the prep table was really nasty looking at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, which may have been right after a rush, but dang it was covered with beans and rice and smears of other food everywhere. When we arrived, there were only three other people in the restaurant and we did not have to to wait to place our order. The chips we received were the bottom of the bin and in little tiny pieces at the bottom of the bag so I asked for more chips and they gave me a little kids bag with literally eight chips in it (no kidding) and I got an eye roll to boot. The workers never say thank you or smile. Seriously everyone of these people seem like they hate their jobs and it really shows in the way they interact with customers. We walked in at 9:40pm while passing through Prescott on our way to LA, the table was mess but we understand that it is probably a busy location and the end of the day, they did not seem very happy to see us #1, when the guy that started preparing our order started he told me if we could come earlier next time, twenty minutes before their closing time I'm not sure why they have to say that to customers we also really needed to use the restroom and they told us that the restrooms where closed for the day when my daughter could barely hold it any longer because we have been driving, a little bit of a friendlier atmosphere would have been helpful. I drove to the PRESCOTT location when the prescott valley location is 5 minutes from me, but the quality was terrible today. I'm not sure if it was due to the fact that I used points for a free entree so they decided to skimp out on food and the quality but they did. My boyfriend's bowl was packed to the brim and looked great while my bowls portion didn't equate to even half of his entire bowl. Both times that we ordered food to go from Chipotle Mexican Grill, the food and presentation was horrible! When we opened the container to what was to have been a beef and avocado salad , looked like something that Chipotle has scooped out of their garbage can. We had to throw the whole thing out! It was positively disgusting and it was NOTHING like what is advertised on tv! Still, we decided to give them another chance and the same thing happened! NEVER AGAIN!!! The staff, and I use the term loosely, were pathetic. No hello, no welcome in, which sometimes just seems so mechanical but at least it's an acknowledgment. Not one smile, you would have thought they both had the toothache. it was plain to see that they would rather be anywhere else but here. I've never seen a burrito folded like that! I seriously thought he was trying to get a submission out of it! It was a Friday evening, they are young, they want to be out having fun, I get it, however when you're at work at least pretend that you're happy to see us, after all without customers you won't have a job or a paycheck. you may not have an option about whither to be there or not, you probably need to work, you do however have an option about how you react to your customer. I ordered a sandwich and halfway through, one of the employees walked off. For 3 minutes.Nobody helped me finish my order in the interim. When the person returned, they didn't apologize just asked what I wanted. At the checkout, the cashier didn't say have a nice day or sorry for the inconvenience, just "here you go" Mind you, I didn't voice any frustration or interjection at the time. So my wife and I reluctantly came back to this CHIPOTLE after having not been here for several months when we were told that they were out of tortillas. I looked back in the food prep area for to go orders and they had plenty of tortillas back there. I asked whether or not I could get a tortilla from back there because I really wanted a burrito... They said no. Those were only four to go orders. I ended up leaving. Didn't say much back then but finally came back today to try it again and they told me that they were out of cheese and lettuce BUT only told me that after 3/4 of the burrito was already made. Cheese and lettuce are one of my favorite parts of a burrito and, unfortunately, we probably will never be back to this CHIPOTLE again. Very impressed by management here! The management and staff are all overwhelmed. It seems as though most businesses in Prescott, PV and Chino Valley are short staffed. The ones that want to work are busting butt, so be patient and nice when you visit these establishments! When I was In Sunday evening a homeless man walked in and asked how much food he could buy with the $5 he had. One of the employees said "probably a couple tacos, but hold one one moment". The manager on duty walked up and desperately handed the man some money "buy what ever you want". The homeless man did not accept his generous and humble act kindness.
