I went to my favorite chipotle restaurant yesterday to have lunch. As I got near the counter I looked and saw the girl wiping her nose with her hand over and over and over again like somebody had allergies or a cold. It was about 15 to 20 sec of wiping. She was talking to another girl while doing this then immediately she put the same hand down on the metal area where the burritos are wrapped, and other items are put together for your customers. I looked at the girl as I walked up to the counter and they were going to just serve me, like nothing had happened. I looked at the girls and I said, "you need to go wash your hands." And she just looked at me with a look like, I don't need to do anything. I looked at her and I said, "you just wipe your nose with your hands and put it down there where the food is prepared, you need to go wash your hands." And they both just stared at me like I was just an idiot. Then I asked where Manager was and the girl standing next to her said "I'm the manager" and I looked at her and I said. "she just wiped her nose over and over with her hand, she needs to go wash her hands" and she didn't say anything at all and she saw her doing that! Then I said "where is the manager" again "I know you're not the store manager because I've talk to the store manager before and complimented her on the cleanliness of the store". She said, "well she isn't here anymore. Now we have a different guy". So, then I asked again "where is he." And she said "well he's not here today". And then I said OK how do I get a hold of him and then the girl that was there who had wiped her nose and then was touching the food prep counter look at me and said, "well I wasn't going to really touch the food anyways", like some little smart ass little child who just got in trouble and then she stormed off to the back. I looked at the Manager and I said, "if you're a manager, you should know these health codes" and she just looked at me again. And because she just stared at me, I said. "if you don't know the health codes, you shouldn't be in management because she did this right in front of you.". She still wouldn't say anything. No reassurance that she would correct the problem. No acknowledgment of how serious the health code violation was of her employee wiping her nose and then touching food areas with no intention of washing her hands. So, I said to the manager, "you better go in the back and correct that girl make her wash her hands " The entire time I was there I still never saw her wash her hands. I left, and she still hadn't washed her hands! The manager went in the back after I told her you better correct this. Then the other girl that was there spoke with me and she was very nice. She understood the seriousness of what I was saying. I asked for the names of the employees so I could report the incident. I tried to contact somebody at your company by phone but since you do not have a phone number, I have no other choice but to call the health department. So, I am in the middle of filing a complaint with the health department regarding your restaurant. I will never go there again. In a day and age where they're talking about a pandemic, your employees can't even perform basic food safety and they think it's a joke! Shame on you Chipotle! Such a disappointment. This is either very bad training from management above or people that just don't care. Either way it's your responsibility to keep things safe for your people who eat in your restaurant! read more

Yay! A Chipotle in Prescott.. Well I visit Prescott pretty infrequently, but this kinda blew me away. I remember when it was all cowboy cafes, coffeeshops and barbeque. The kidlets go ape when they see Chipotle, especially when we are travelling for some reason, so we ate here. Yes..have their famous guacamole, and Yes, it is just as delicious as always. The only reason for 3 stars rather than 4 was the confusing service, among a couple other nagging issues. Firstly, I have never seen so many counter workers in one Chipotle at once. A little confusion ensued.. no biggie, but our "for here" order got smushed into a bag barely able to hold it all, and who am I telling my salsa order to?... and B. son's burrito exploded partway in. I know, it happens, but still. I have standards for my Chipotle experiences, people. Number 3. was their waste disposal method, a huge contraption was carted out, loudly, amongst the tables on the patio (where we were) not once, not twice, but thrice- while people were eating. It was loud, disruptive and unappetizing, so no bueno.... maybe wait till the patio clears out, or go around?I don't know, there has to be a better way, no? But other than that, a goodly experience- good food. I would return. read more

Went at 1115 am and ordered a beautiful large burrito to go . Noticed that all the food trays were partially full. Store open for 15 minutes and did they have that much business? Got home and all ingredients were partially room temperature. No telling how many days old these items were . I'm sure if I had gone a few hours later the containers would had more time to heat the food . Now I understand why they had many health issues in the past . Beware ! read more

We ordered from this location today, over their online system to go pick up. To our amazement, upon arriving, we noticed an obscene amount of people inside the restaurant. We were cautious but still went inside. This restaurant chain (or maybe just location) is still allowing people to order ON THE LINE just like everything is normal, as well as their employees not wearing masks while serving food!! I mean seriously? Isn't that against the law right now or something? And on top of that fact, when we told them we were there to pick up, they rudely stated "it's on the counter" with a sneer. I don't think we'll be going back for a long time... how completely unprofessional and careless. read more

This location is the worst! All employees move like sloths, are less than friendly and act like they hate their jobs. The last two times I've been in, the line wrapped around the restaurant, I stood in line for 30mins, out of veggies, out of ICE. As I was waiting in the long line tonight, I witnessed the first gal wipe her forehead with her gloved hand and proceed to grab a tortilla. That was the last straw. The staffing problems here are ridiculous. Plan to wait 30 to 40 minutes for anything ordered online. The app will say 10 minutes. It's a lie. Even better, sometimes they only accept online orders. This place needs a management change. read more

We had to walk in through side door, we go to start to order, plenty or workers in there, and they will not take our order even though were right there and there's an employee available. You MUST order online, wait forever, and take it to go. We left and went somewhere else. read more

I think Chipotle is about the best fast food out there. There is no universe where the service at the Prescott location could be described as fast. I would go there if I had a short term terminal illness because each moment would feel like an eternity. read more

Since the taste of Mexican food is highly personal (I have a friend that actually likes Casa Sanchez) you just have to try Chipotle to see if you like it. My experience is that the food at this location has always been fresh and well prepared. The staff is cheery, well trained and super nice. Plus, you can have your foil-wrapped burrito of mass destruction made a-a-a-any way you like. And for almost a Hamilton, when add guac, you'd better well make it my way. 5 stars SERVICE 4 stars FOOD 3 stars ATMOSPHERE 1 star VALUE Chipotle offers a quality product at the highest price possible. This location seems to never have it together. I've been here a few times and just picked up food Togo tonight. The rice is not cooked all the way through, I had no chicken in my chicken bowl, and everything was cold. Other times I've been here they have been out of ingredients as simple as lettuce. On top of that, it's never a quick wait even when you order ahead. I'm not really sure what it is about this location but unfortunately I think this is the end for me. read more

After puking 14 times and a hospital trip. I think it's safe to say this place is not very good. I blacked out while next to my toilet. Definitely would not recommend, but I do recommend a health inspector looks into this place. I am appalled at the lack of care I received from chipotle today. I opened up the lid to my bowl and to my amazement there was exactly one piece of lettuce sitting on top of the rest of the ingredients. I visited the Chipotle in Prescott z alley and had a horrible meal and servers feho we're inept. For one. after my chicken and vege salad were started I was told that there were no tomatoes. Also, I was told by the server that I could add any item of my choice. I wasn't told that the guacamole was extra. At the check out it came to $33 for three salads! This was exceptionally high for three low quality salads. Your advertisment leaves much to be desired from your actual salad! I will never visit another Chipotle. I have always loved my Chipolte Barbacoa Bowl. I have been getting them at the Prescott, AZ store and was always treated kindly and quickly. The past three times I've noticed an entirely different kind of treatment at this store. The young oriental looking man who served me the most recent visit must have had a bad day because his attitude did not belong in the store at all. Also I need to mention that the past three times I have noticed a quite a difference in the amount of food that went into the bowl. Yes alot less! The price has increased three times and the amount have diminished... It seems as though I am paying more and more and getting less and less....Anyone else have this experience? read more

While the food is good and the staff are friendly, the online order process is bologna. It is impossible to used earned rewards on line--just gives an error message saying it didn't meet requirements. Tonight, I placed our usual on line order, paid for it, chose the time for pickup, and the website said my time was invalid. It did not give me any other options for pickup times. I contacted the on-line help service and that was complete bull-crap. After explaining the whole problem, I was transferred to "Joanna", and explained it all over again. Then, while waiting for a solution, knowing that my food was either getting very cold or was never made in the first place, "Joanna" left the conversation and a new bot came on with the cheerful slang of "Hi! How may I help you!". Completely worthless. I called the restaurant, which by the way, did not even have a ring tone, but rather about 20 seconds of silence before an auto-voice came on, and found out that my order did go through. So, I can look forward to picking up cold Chipotle since my original order was placed quite a while ago. Now, I would love to order in person and avoid this bull-crap, but, did you know...you can no longer order a cheese quesadilla in person? Only on line and with a bunch of other junk for a much higher price than before. How family-friendly is that? NOT. Yep--learned the hard way as I stood at the counter a couple months ago, in front of the tortillas and the cheese, that the workers are not allowed to make a cheese quesadilla in person any longer. I have to review now because it's not the first time this has happened. I walk in and immediately noticed how unorganized the place was. Food EVERYWHERE all over the floors, all over the glass, all the foods where mixed, disgusting, the place looked trashed. They were 30 minutes out on white rice again. I look toward the back counter and it's DISGUSTING. It was a complete mess, does it ever get cleaned? I love Chipotle but this location is diabolical. Alyssa took our order. She prepared our order from start to finish. And she rang it up. In the middle of all that, after calling out for more fajita mix and other items, several times and being ignored, she ran to the fridge and grabbed the fajita mix and threw it on the grill herself. Meanwhile, a few employees who were working the to go orders were not very busy but not assisting Alyssa at all. In fact, they cut in front of Alyssa and finished off the rest of the fajita mix and made no attempt to replace/restock. Additionally, other workers were standing around while stock was being depleted and Alyssa was calling out for refills. And no one else lifted a finger. A large line formed behind us but had to wait to order until Alyssa rang us up. My fajita veggies were raw but thanks to Alyssa, I had some. Alyssa should be given a raise and a promotion. Perhaps Alyssa can train the rest of the staff. Seriously, there was a huge lack of teamwork happening here for a Saturday night, when I expect you are generally pretty busy. Kudos to Alyssa but the rest of the staff was slacking off it seemed. Normally Chipotle lines run fast and everyone is working together. I had a wonderful experience today with Katie. My order was messed up the other day and she called me back and told me to come in to get my free meal along with refunding me! Then when I came in and ordered, she gave me my whole order free. She definitely knows how to make it up to customers. This is a hard time to be in the food industry and I know everyone is short staffed. She went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. I really appreciate costumer service like that. read more

So I've been there 3 times in the past 5 months. Depending on who's working depends on whether or not you get a meal or a snack. They are so inconsistent. I asked for a double portion of vegetables and I barely got a single serving. I asked for a half portion of rice I got an eighth portion. Chipotle is what you would expect in a chain restaurant. I've been here a couple times and it's been OK. The first time I ordered some hard shell chicken tacos and they were pretty good. This last time I ordered a steak burrito. The burrito is so stuffed that you can't really eat it without it exploding and making a huge mess. I'm not really complaining because it was pretty good... it's just that I had to use a fork to eat the rest of it. Anyway, I might come here sometimes when I want a quick meal. He has social anxiety and they mocked him when he ordered--perhaps jokingly, but in an unprofessional manner. I've really tried to see if this place would improve. it's just not doing that. I've been here several times and this last visit is my last one. the place is just dirty, employee's standing around talking and tables are dirty, floors are dirty, the grill where they cook the meat just looked like its not been cleaned for weeks. it was just gross. I gave it a shot anyway and what did I find. burnt old nasty looking bits of stuff from that grill in my bowl. seriously, how hard is it to clean. how does this place get passed by the health inspector? when it first opened it was great. but after all the issues this company has had, it looks like they just don't care and gave up. A Catering order gone very wrong. Had a lunch scheduled with a medical office for 15 people. I had the office call in thier own order and I was told it would be ready at 11:15. I arrived at 11 and I waited. I was helped out with our order, stopped by local Walgreens to pick up drinks and headed out to MD office. As I pull in the parking lot I am told I have to go back as they gave me the wrong order. I notified the office lunch would be late and went back to Chipotle. I get there and I had to wrestle getting all the food back in the restraunt as no one would help me. I get it back in there and I get our "correct order" and the girl hands me 8 cups. I told her I didn't call in the order and I need to know what to put in the cups. She says oh ya, I'll go get the order. I told her I don't understand why I am self serve filling cups on a catering order. This is when I'm told that it isn't catering it was a fax order. Honestly this blew my mind. Calling in an order for 15 people the day before is catering to me. Anyway I get all cups filled and then I ask, are there forks,spoons napkins etc. "Nope, only for catering orders". I did ask for help out to the car. I take everything back to the MD office. We finally start lunch and I'm informed we are short three orders! I had to leave and go back again! I notice they also rang up the wrong ticket, it was to my advantage though. Didn't matter cause at this point the meal should be refunded. I go back because when we called them to inform them of the short orders they say "oops sorry, we don't deliver" and I get a meek I'm so sorry. I pick up the three orders which are now cold and I point out to her she also rang up the wrong way order. I showed her the ticket and told her I expect a refund for making 3 round trips to the MD office due to thier mistake and....it cost my physicians thier lunch hour and basically blew our meeting. She tells me she can refund me but she's happy to return the incorrect ticket and ring me up for the correct order which was even more! I told her no! She then tells me " for future reference fax orders work this way and catering is diffrent." I turned around not believing my ears, I asked how this explains that they screwed up so bad. Obviously catering orders aren't much better as I ran into two more angry customers in the parking lot , the one that had to return with my order wasn't too happy either. I asked her if they were franchise or corporate which she just sat silent for a second. I told her come on, not that hard if a question, which one? She said corporate. This failed to phase her when I said I would report it, note***she never offered any solution to resolve the issues with any of the customers. I would think after thier recent press of food poisoning that they would be more PRG sensitive. So here it is folks. 1 it's a health code violation to send food out of the store with a customer, accept a return and reserve it to other customers. 2. Crappie customer care, and I plan on letting my offices and Pharma partners I work with know this. 3. I will never patronize Chipotle again after such treatment. One mess up I can forgive but three? Do us all a favor and don't disgrace the food and beverage industry by calling this lackluster food and service catering. I work with some amazing restraints that work hard for thier business and this is a disgrace. read more
