I hate this Chipotle. I have been eating Chipotle for years, but this location is so awful. It has ruined Chipotle for me. I advise people to save your time and money, go somewhere else!!! Employees hiding the vinegarette dressing from customers. The strangest experience I've ever had at a food establishment. Specifically, the older blonde employee with glasses. They typically have the dressing in the refrigerator behind the cash register. When it was my turn to pay, I asked if I could have a dressing which I could see in plain view was sitting in the bottom of the refrigerator. The old blonde employee adamantly denies they have any left, that they couldn't make any today because the blender broke. Tells me those are oranges for the kids meals as if I am crazy and seeing things. I turn around to see other customers eating with the dressing and point it out, she tells me the blender broke right after. She had the audacity to get annoyed with me for continuously asking for dressing I see they have. It wasn't until half way through our debacle that her counter employee reaches in the refrigerator and just gives me dressing I saw. Other customers eating at the time came up to me to tell me they just experienced the same thing with this old woman. Chipotle should be ashamed of having such an employee. read more

I have never had any problems with this location until I spoke to the general manager. I placed an online order and when I received the food it was wrong. There were no black beans in my salad and hardly any cheese and I ordered extra cheese and black beans. I called to let someone know and the first person that answered sounded like they sort of had an attitude which I shrugged off. She put me through to another person who turned out to be the general manager because he was the one making the online orders. I was very polite the whole time but he kept insisting that he put black beans on my order and extra cheese and I was telling him that he did not. He was arguing with me about my whole meal. I wasn't expecting for them to send me a free meal or anything. I was just trying to make him aware so that they can double check orders before they go out. Instead of apologizing he said "well bring it back here and I will make another one". That would have been no problem but I ordered delivery for a reason because I couldn't leave work for lunch so there was no way I could bring it there. Then he said well just hold it until tomorrow and bring it tomorrow and I will make you another one. I was like seriously?!?! I asked him then what am I supposed to eat for lunch?? And all he could repeat was just bring it back and that he was 100% sure he hit the "button" for black beans. At the end of the conversation I told him I'm just trying to make him aware and he just repeated the same thing to me, so I just said have a good day and bye. I think for being a general manager, he needs to have a WHOLE new level of training for customer service and dealing with complaints. This location is horrible. The traffic, the lines. The staff is so unorganized and the lines go around the building from staff making customers wait 5-10mins for them to cook the meat. Then, they have the nerve to charge you for "extra" meat because you know you had to wait ten minutes for them to cook it and then they only give you a tiny spoonful.Maybe im greedy. When I went to pick up my food that I ordered through the app I stood by the register for 5 minutes without being acknowledge. Eventually someone asked what I needed I told them I had ordered online and needed to pick up. They asked my name and I wanted for another minute. It was very busy and an employee placed a bag on the register counter and never said it was mine. I waited another few minutes not knowing if it was my food or not because I didn't want to take an order that wasn't mine. One with blonde hair and distracting gauges and another extremely rude manager. I prefer the Chipotle on Cattleman much better. The portions are extremely small at this one. When they first opened I went in and was confused about their menu so decided to go next door to Tiajuana Flats,now I wish I would have just asked about the menu. Visited Longboat Key for a few weeks and got tired of the limited dining options for families. Kids were hungry for Chipotle and the husband and I were happy to oblige. We arrived about twenty minutes before closing and waited for our turn to order. Asked for one burrito and 3 bowls. Each bowl had a different amount of chicken and rice. Kids asked for extra rice and young man serving this was accommodating. Got to the toppings section and my husband, who never eats here, took too long for the lady working there. Worst chipotle ever. I'm obsessed with chipotle (so much so that in college I worked for one) and this has consistently been the worst experience in all my chipotle experiences. The first few visits it was just dirty tables and employees lacking strong English communication skills. It escalated about a month ago when an small Spanish lady behind the counter refused to give me extra cheese. When I got the manager involved he told her to give me a little more and she literally gave me the smallest pinch of cheese in the world. I was so frustrated at that point that I just gave up, paid and left. Fast forward to this evening. Same rude Spanish lady behind the counter. Same minuscule amount of cheese. When I asked for more cheese a young blonde girl informed me it would be extra. Excuse me? Not once in any of my trips to chipotle have they ever charged me for more cheese. I had been to the chipotle off university three days prior and they didn't charge me. When I asked when they started charging more for extra topping (besides meat and guac) rather than giving me a straight answer she just said cheese is more expensive so they charge for it. I know for a fact that no other chipotles charge for extra cheese, rice, beans, ect. If you're in Sarasota you're better off driving to University or going next door to Tijuanna Flats read more
