I visited Jersey Mike's for lunch a few days ago, a friendly place. I think everyone who worked there asked me how I was doing as I went through the process of ordering my regular sized The Original Italian. I got it Mike's way and it was juicy and very good. The restaurant itself was bright and clean, and customer focused. I liked how they interacted with other sandwich lovers, and if a line started to form, they would say "showtime" and all the other workers would come out from the back to help. Because Jersey Mike's slices their meats and cheeses as needed, my Italian sandwich with 4 different meats and a cheese was pretty labor intensive. My guy efficiently got everything sliced like he has done that a thousand times before. read more

Jersey mikes as a whole is delicious, but this location is terrible. It is the closest to my house, so sometimes we will order from here for convenience, but if you're able to I would recommend going to the TJ Maxx location or somewhere else. Jersey Mikes is a chain restaurant but I rate them one of the best sandwich shops. Their bread is fresh, their meats are sliced to order and they offer excellent toppings at no additional charge. I've tried zillions of sub shops and this is by far the best one, not even comparable! None of the others even have rosemary parm bread, so they really cannot compete. The thinly sliced Turkey is truly the best Turkey I've ever had, even better than Thanksgiving Turkey! They also have really good cream soda and best chewiest brownies ever! How hard is it to make a sub with the ingredients submitted in an online order? Not to mention the order was placed the day prior for a 12pm pick up but was not ready until 1230. The Bahia Vista store in Sarasota doesn't know the definition of customer service. I will NEVER go there again. I ordered a sandwich for pickup and when I got there it was gone. I was told they would not remake the sandwich it must have gone out with the driver??? Duh - you don't have an address on the order. I was offered to be noted in a book that they owe me a credit??? the young lady at the counter on Clark Road location was absolutely wonderful! But after ordering a steak mushroom and povolone sub, I got all the way home to find he put american cheese on it... spoiled it as it's the only cheese I do not like at all. I was the only customer so can't even blame it on being busy but when you are spending almost $10 and leaving over a $1 tip, I did not get what I ordered. I asked for 3 things, steak, mushrooms and provlone cheese.... yes he made it quickly and I commended him for it but it's not good when he didn't make it the way I ordered.... sorry, I don't really get that picky but for the money, I did not enjoy it and it was too far to drive back. read more

Went to the Bahia Vista Street location in Sarasota for a quick sub. I ordered an Italian ON WHEAT. I sat down, took a bite and then noticed that I was eating an Italian sub on a white roll ! So, I brought it up to the fellow who made the sandwich. He said and I quote, "Oh yeah, sorry. " Not a word that "I will remake your sub correctly" or "I will give you a credit for next time" - NOTHING. More like, "Sorry bro, not my problem." I only took one bite since I have been advised by my Dr's to never eat white bread and tossed the rest. Good thing I was paying attention. But to have an employee just look at you and say "Sorry" doesn't cut it. Nor does not having any communication access to complain to the (then absentee) manager, who apparently doesn't even leave her business card out for customers. This location needs some fast lessons on how to and how NOT to treat a customer. Next time, I'll go to Publix... read more

Jersey Mikes Subs are the real deal! They put most other sub shops to shame! Went in there yesterday and got one of their Philly Cheese Steaks! Actually tastes as good as Pats and Gino's up in Philly! Regular size more than filling even if you have a big appetite! Giant can fill two or three! This particular shop really nice with pleasant staff and very rapid service! read more

I love Jersey Mike's but the management at the Bahia vista and 41 location needs some serious management adjustment. The manager (don't know her name) is extremely nasty. Customers in line hear her yelling at all her employees. Just feels like a negative environment. Last thing you want on your hectic work lunch break is to spend it listening to the manager yelling at her staff. read more

Without a doubt Jersey Mike's is my go to sub shop because they are quite simply the best. I give credit where credit is due and during my first visit to this hot spot I had the pleasant encounter of a young lady whom was juggling many tasks while training a new employee literally stepped out of the box and put some true heart and care into taking my order, sharing it with her new coworker and helping her to create a masterpiece of both of my sandwiches all while in shut down mode as I pulled in roughly 20 minutes before she was to close with what was clearly a lot of work to do. I did not catch her name and now I wish I did but you'll know her as a very nice blonde young lady that put a personal touch to my little sandwich order. Thank you so much for actually caring to make sure you put out a quality product and asking to make sure that I came back again. Well guess what I certainly will because I just landed a career here in Sarasota and rest assured I will be at the Bahia Vista road store whenever I need my fix. WELL DONE & THANK YOU!!!! read more

All of our sandwiches ended up in the trash. Nothing was made correctly to what we ordered. the bread was hard,the Italians were made with a ton of mayonnaise and no one received the mustard they chose., no oil and vinegar and didn't taste like a Italian at all. the steak and cheese were tough and the onions weren't cooked. it's a shame that people can't get the same service and food that if you went in to eat in take out anymore. this has been the reason that i stopped ordering take out as much. door dash delivery is good. it's the restaurants. jo one has any pride anymore, but when covid hit they all were at least trying to stay afloat and WE the people supported them as a community. Doing our part to help and show appreciation. I'm disabled and have to take medicine and my dinner from Jersey Mikes.. Bahia Vista was Horrible. I will never order from that one again. My friend and my sister ordered because they had a beautifully made sandwich from the one on fruitville and the one on university parkway. wow what a shame you should feel. read more

What an amazing sub!! My wife and I shared a # 7 giant. Of coarse got it Mikes way. Took to the beach to have lunch. Very friendly staff and a clean environment. We will be back for more! Found out you can order ahead of pick up which is convenient. Outside seating is very nice. read more

Came in with the kids today, and let me say I was pretty impressed! The staff was very friendly and calm despite the long line at 3pm (we occasionally go by this store on the way home from Karate and it isn't as slammed.) and we made it through the line relatively quickly with the staff smiling and talking to the kids and I the whole time. My only complaint was the amount of oil on my sandwich. It was still delicious but it may have been overkill putting so much of it on. The service and the food was great as always but the real reason I'm here using Yelp for the first time is because the impression they made on me by going out of their way to give my two kids cookies. Eric (my shy 9 year old) was hiding his face when the manager asked what he wanted on his sandwich, so the manager asked if he could give Eric and my other son a cookie on the house, This of course made Eric light up and actually start talking and smiling more which made my experience here that much better. Would definitely recommend this store and Jersey Mikes in general, and I'll definitely be in with the kids more often. read more

Sandwich was terrible yet again. The cheesesteak was awesome in the past but it's gone downhill. I tried the roast beef sandwich today and it was awful. Bread is dry and the meat was brown and contained a lot of fat. I'll find another sandwich place. For the price, it should be top notch. read more
