Ive never had a problem with chipotle before but now I definitely do. I was given a chipotle e-gift card (bought from the chipotle website), and out of nowhere the QR code stopped working. I didn't realize until I was at the cashier that the gift-card wasn't working. The cashier showed the manager and he told me to either pay or leave. He refused to do anything else despite this gift-card having $50 on it. Chipotle seriously needs to either train their managers, or hire ones that know what customer service is read more

This was an average chipotle establishment. It was in the vicinity of Florida State University, so the line was lengthy, but it was alright. The crew members were friendly and moved the line along at a decent pace. They also were very generous with their portion sizes. I will definitely go back when I am in the area the next time. Would recommend that chipotle should introduce queso though, as this would greatly enhance the food experience. All in all, quality fast food establishment. read more

As a lifelong fan of chipotle and someone who likes to go at least once a week, I was extremely disappointed when I came up to Tallahassee for school. This is without a doubt the worst chipotle restaurant I've been in. Always a line out the door and always something wrong when I go. On three separate occasions I've visited this location and they have been out of white rice. White rice! The most basic staple of every entree they serve at chipotle! Measly serving sizes most every time. The staff has been rude to me on multiple occasions, I just can't get past the overall experience here. 0 stars if I could. I absolutely love Chipotle but every time I get food from this location they always add lettuce to my food even though I didn't order it. Small thing to get upset about, but it's literally every. time. And I hate lettuce. Please stop doing this. Also got a vegetarian bowl tonight and they put lettuce on it and didn't give me guac. PLEASE BE AWARE that I am aware of the negative perceptions of people who review fast food restaurants! I'm generally not one to complain and consider myself to have reasonable expectations for every place I eat. I eat at chipotle fairly often (1-2 times every other week across multiple locations) and so I'm well aware to expect from their more well-run stores, as well as the not so great ones. That said, my most recent trip was by far my worst ever. It was around 4:00 on a Saturday and the line was to the door. For starters, it was clear that the store was not prepared to be as busy as they were. Yet the issue was not a result of being short-handed. In fact there were a number outs employees just hanging out on the patio and behind the counter, including the girl behind me in line. After a fair wait in line the girl behind the counter asks what I will be having. I order a salad, looking down in the metal bin to see that there was no salad lettuce available. The girl informs me that there was no more available (no more lettuce?) but she could make it on shredded lettuce. (They were also out of this on the table and she had to go to the back to replace the bin). Upon returning she put some lettuce in a bowl and slides it down before offering me beans or rice, and begins talking to her friend, (the employee behind me in line) and making her tacos to order. The beans (which I ended up having to ask the girl for) were flavorless. The steak was very finely chopped, which I realize is nit-picking, but it still wasn't done properly. And there were no fajita veggies available save an onion slice or two. I asked for corn salsa on the side which was literally partially frozen. When it was time to pay I had to wait about 2 minutes for the cashier to deal with the people on the carryout line, the girl barely acknowledged my existence (which was fine with me at this point) but she also handed me my card back and forgot to give me a tray, leaving me standing there like an idiot. I should mention that I was noticeably upset in the way I asked for the tray and the same cashier finally took notice of me, and came to the table I sat down at to give me a free entree card. While I do appreciate one person noticing my frustration, nothing was solved by doing this, and it did nothing to reconcile the thought thought that this may happen again upon returning to this store. As I said, I'm usually not one to complain, I understand this is a store next to a college campus and thus is prone to getting extremely busy and also is not equipped with the most dedicated employees. In fact, I have worked at a fast-good restaurant in the nearby area. In truth, I was hesitant to even post this review, and likely would not have if not for the previous issues I have had with more minor issues at this store. But my experience was not what I've come to expect of chipotle over the years. Not even close. read more

Never been to a Chipotle like this one. They have taken sparse to a whole new level with their bare plywood decor for walls, booths & chairs. Nice try, but it needs some paint to get rid of that wonder what business will be here next feeling. Still, not out of order seeing 90% of the crowd appears to be college students with very little requirements for comfort. The style may not be to my liking but my lunch was 100% Chipotle; healthy, fresh and fast. Had their pork bowl w/ brown rice, plain diced tomatoes, light cheese & sour cream accented by a delicious glass of zero cal H2O. All for 7 bucks. I have to say when I walked into this Chipotle, I had never seen a line this long. They must have been running some kind of promotion. Understandably, I did have a wait a bit but the crew handled the rush with such poise that I was very impressed. I wasn't at all worried that they wouldn't be able to provide me with a great meal. This is disappointing to write, but honesty is the best policy. I figured ordering Take-out would be a great idea since Chipotle has a great reputation and I now know that is misleading. Let me start by saying I ordered the Veggie Burrito Bowl with extra Veggies, black beans, sour cream, cheese, lettuce, Guacamole, and chips with hot salsa. There was hardly any Veggies in my Burrito Bowl and I received no chips with my meal until I double checked my order before sitting down and trying to enjoy my food. The take out waitress didn't bother to ask if I needed anything else, which was very disappointing. Usually the line is out the door, so I can reason to a extent on why service can be off but in this case, I doubt there is a legitimate excuse. I hope the management and entire staff pays close attention to these post because anyone and I mean anyone can walk in and first impressions are very important when it comes to business. I will not be recommending this store to any of my peers or relatives. Hopefully the other stores are not this bad and do a better job with guest service so good word a mouth spreads easily like butter. read more

What can I say? I'm addicted to the burrito bowls and this particular spot gives really nice and hefty portions! But I soon realized that was individual cases. Recently I've been back and everytime they give inconsistent portions. I had to request more meat a couple of times. One of the worst Chipotle's I've ever been to. The workers were not trained well and had very poor listening skills. Worst of all was the fact that they were very skimpy with the ingredients and was definitely not worth the price. If I could rate this chipotle 0 stars I would in a HEARTBEAT! This is the worst chipotle I have ever been to in my life. They're always out of something, I remember one night I came in at 8 pm and they were out of both beans, chicken, lettuce, chips, queso, corn, and fajitas. How are you expected to open for 3 more hours and you're missing almost half of your ingredients?? Ridiculous. The staff here is also super rude and give you the least amount of food possible. I have to order double meat to even get a single serving of what I would get at other Chipotles. Take the time and drive to the one on Gaines street, incredibly better. If you're thinking about going to this chipotle, just don't. It's also incredibly messy all the time, as if the 7 staff they have on hand can't be bothered to Sweep the literal garbage off the floors. The food is gross and the customer service is horrible. Employees looked like they mad that customers are coming into the store. They all looked miserable. I asked for 3 vinaigrette and the cashier going to tell me, they are only allowed to give out 1 cup because they run out a lot at night. Okkk so it's your job to make more. I was so pissed. I even asked to pay for an extra cup even though the vinaigrette is free and she still said no. It was 30 minutes before close time and I was the only customer in the store. So I didn't understand why I couldn't at least get two cups unless the employees was saving the vinaigrette for themselves. The vinaigrette is the main reason why I like their food. I will not be returning to Chipotle no time soon. While eating my food, I found a big leaf in it. I had a burrito and it tasted funny. The food was the worst food I had ever ate from chipotle. The paint in the establishment is peeling off the walls and chairs there where flys and other pest in the building mind you it was 8:30 on and cool night. Listen, I love chipotle as much as the next guy. Actually, I love chipotle way more than the next guy. I could eat chipotle every single day for a month and want more. So I go into the chipotle on W Tennessee St because it's the closest one to my house. Right away I get a bad attitude from the woman working the first part of the order when I ask for a side tortilla and vinaigrette. Then I order my chicken and I get maybe half a scoop of chicken. I don't know if this is how the managers train their employees to scoop the meat but I felt as though I was being cheated out of my money. Nobody likes just eating rice+toppings without the protein. I really wanted to like this place by the few times I have come here it has been on point or bad. The first experience here was not favorable. I had previously never been to a Chipotle so was not sure with how the ordering process went. Granted it's always busy in this location so it was rushed, loud, and the girl making my food was rude when I couldn't hear her. Ordered a steak burrito bowl and got sick immediately after. I decided maybe it was a bad night and went back a month later for a chicken burrito bowl with brown rice, fajita veggies, chicken, guacamole, so on. Better service and quality. However last month and as recent as yesterday will be why I gave it two stars and will never return. Granted last month with the first week of classes at almost 10pm I can understand running out of guacamole, black beans, and fajita veggies. I actually love the fajita veggies here so it's disappointing when they are out. I left and went to Moe's. Yesterday though I ordered a steak bowl again to see if it was a fluke the first time. Everything but fajita veggies (since they were out) and not even 20 minutes later sick. I have been sick for over 24 hours now. I don't have any allergies so I'm not sure what is up but I'm a little pissed I spent $11 including a drink to be sick. read more

This is the worst Chipotle I've ever been to. Their counter is messy, foods are constantly contaminated by other foods, they never keep anything stocked!! They were completely out of forks and when I brought it to their attention they basically said there was nothing they could do about! Am I supposed to eat with my hands? The line is always absurdly long. I tend to only order online for pick up which is a more convenient option they have. As for the service and food itself, I just have to give this place two stars. I haven't really had one successful trip to this location. They butcher my order almost every time. I got a veggie burrito bowl last time that was half filled, the rice was way undercooked, they completely forgot the guac, and so on. This chipotle is always packed, so we made sure to place an online order over an hour prior to our pick up time as we were on a tight schedule. We arrived on time and still had to wait for our food to be prepared. We were not acknowledged and the staff never apologized for the wait on an order that was placed over an hour prior and takes 2-3 minutes to make. read more

Yum yum yum. I love Chipotle. I've been in Tallahassee since 08 going to Florida State and was devastated to learn that Tallahassee did not have a Chipotle. Lucky for me we finally got one, and the food is what I'd expect from Chipotle. The service isn't the best, but I've learned that most of the restaurants in Tally have poorer service than other places, maybe because it's mostly college students working in these places, I don't know.
