placed my order through the app and when I arrived to pick up my order I, went straight to the pick up station. There was only one order on the station, I noticed it was not mine so I asked the manager behind the counter if mine was ready? The first words out of his mouth were "do not come in here grabbing packages that are not yours". I stayed calm after that comment and I proceeded to explain to him that I had placed my order though the app and I even showed him my order confirmation on my phone. He then told me in the rudest way possible to place the order again or leave! I told him I was not going to pay again and he told me to leave using profanity. I did not scope to his level and left without my food. As a business owner myself, there is no way I would have a person like that managing my business. I go here so often they usually just start making my bowl before I get to the front. The other day I was about to check out and the cashier says "Your bowl is free today Mam'" WOW I never and I mean never get anything free, win any type of contest, get the last item on sale, etc..etc.. so you can imagine the unadulterated joy I felt from getting this free $7 burrito bowl! After eating at more than a dozen Chipotles nationwide and being a loyal customer for a decade, I had to walk out of this store in the middle of my order out of sheer disgust. I walked in at 11:04 and already there was a line out the door. It was clear the crew was not well trained to handle a rush and was taking orders as if there was no one in line. When I finally got up to start my order 10 minutes later, the disgustingly sweaty kid at the first station starts making my burrito and puts less than half a scoop of chicken on. I politely ignore this slight and ask for extra steak (I always order double meat). He then scoops even less than half a scoop of steak on top and grabs the "extra meat" cup. I speak up and call him out on shorting me, to which he responds by flicking exactly 2 pieces of chicken onto the burrito and shoves it along without even looking at me. I simply laughed in his face and walked out. When I've eaten at so many chipotles (3 different ones this week alone) I know very well what a portion size should be. This kid not only made sure I will never return to his location, but he also wasted all of the product he put onto what would have been my burrito. Here's a hint, when a customer looks at the barest scraps of meat you've pathetically tossed onto their meal, add more. Yes, protein is the expensive part of your business but it's also why we come. This chipotle gets the one star because the food is delicious. However the man who helped me (the bigger guy with the beard) was a complete jerk. (I would use other language but Yelp won't let me). He was rude when I asked for more rice and rolled his eyes. I then asked for a tortilla with my bowl and he gave me another dirty look as he threw the tortilla on the warmer. I've read the other reviews about this guy and clearly he doesn't need a job here because clearly he hates it. read more

I don't recommend this location, you're better off going to Free Birds. I asked for guacamole and as I was leaving I checked my bag and I asked why I didn't get guacamole when I asked for it and the cashier smirked and said, "oh let me charge you for that." I was like why I just paid, the cashier was like, "no u didn't- I was obviously confused as I had just paid for my order. I said to the cashier, " I asked the guy to give me guacamole, did u not charge me for that?" Cashier smirked and was like, "oh yeah!" Ugh, y'all I'm starving, the place is packed and the guy that put my plate together was rushing me and didn't hear (why not say something at this point, right?) my order when he was looking at me and nodding every time I asked for something. I asked for the manager because the cashier seemed rude, inattentive, and completely could care less of the issue. Manager arrives and was like yeah I'll just charge the guacamole separately- I'm like so I have to pay 2 bucks on my credit card for inconveniencing me? Manager stands there & doesn't say a word while the cashier is patronizing me and I politely asked for a refund- customer service goes a long way, y'all! The cashier snatched the bag of food as if I was gonna take it anyway- so wild! Never did I get any words of concern from them for getting my order wrong. Convenient stop while heading up or down I-35. I love fast food where I can order a meal that will accommodate my Paleo lifestyle and I don't feel like I'm still starving after I eat. Chipotle is the best fast food available for eating smart. This particular location was great - mom and I walked in just 30 minutes before closing time and everyone was very friendly. We ordered the carnitas (the only meat that is not cooked in soybean oil) and there was only enough for one of us, so we split what was available... the girl behind the counter finished our order and then met us out in the dining area later with fresh made carnitas to add to our salad. The staff was so polite and helpful and even with thirty minutes left, the food still tasted fresh. I love the guacamole at Chipotle, too. You could drop me in a giant vat with a spoon and I'll just nibble my way through until I see sunlight again. Some of the best guacamole I've ever had. Next time I'm heading through Temple, I will definitely keep this stop in mind... It is so nice to have convenient healthy food when you're on the road. read more

As several others have commented on other reviews here, this particular location is really cheap with its portions. It is apparent that the employees are trained to really skimp. I have been to many Chipotles and this one is the worst for portion size by far. The supervisor or manager is the worst of them all. He literally shakes the spoon so food falls off in his quest to give you less. On the plus side there are some really friendly guys working there who unfortunately have to follow what their boss, who is overlooking their work, dictates. I only go there once in a blue moon and get my cravings in at Harker Heights location instead. read more

I love this place. The food is awesome, the service is excellent. Once, for example, I was given free chips because the servers recognized that I ate there a lot!! They even have a place you can eat outside. My only complaint would be that it's REALLY loud. It's very echoey and everything is just noisy. If you're looking for a place to eat and unwind, I'd get it to go. read more

I'll give this chipotle 2 stars and probably not ever waste my money here again. I am a huge chipotle fan and I have eaten there at least 3-4 times a month for as long as I can remember. This is probably the worst experience I have ever had at a Chipotle. We all know we come here for the big burritos and a whole lot of food, well... don't think you're getting much more than a happy meal at this store. I would've had a more enjoyable experience scraping pigeon droppings off the hood and roof of a cop car in the parking lot and probably managed to get more food. This chipotle does NOT live up to the hype that literally EVERY SINGLE CHIPOTLE IN AMERICA lives up to. I am immensely disappointed and will never return here. I haven't been to Chipotle in a long time and was excited to go today! I wasn't happy ... over a fork! They were completely out of FORKS! When my party is ordering 3 salads it would have been nice to be warned that you are out of forks especially when you are in the same parking lot as Target! When I asked about the forks there was no apology or anything. If I had known I wouldn't have ordered a salad. Also, the food line was so unorganized. The first young man was great and friendly but then when we hit the salsa section the guy wasn't listening or something, didn't get my cup of guac and so then I had to wait because the cashier couldn't get the guac. Just slowed down the line for no reason! Anyways, rant over! Oh wait no- someone later showed up with forks from WALMART! Really?!?! Target is RIGHT THERE! They also could have had the courtesy to walk around to current customers offering to replace their spoon! Okay now I'm done! read more
