First time I have ever had Chipotle, jst never thought to stop in. We were interested in the food because we are thinking of catering a birthday party from them. My wife had the Chicken bowl and I had the steak Burrito. I will say they give you plenty of food for the money. The burrito was stuffed to the gills and I really enjoyed it. My wife was also impressed with the Chicken Bowl. Nice place clean and neat plenty of people coming and going. They have one associate on a separate line preparing to go orders which is nice so you don't tie up the main line as you accomplish the to-go orders. We chatted with the manager about the catering and we are just decided on which package we will selected for the party depending on the number of people coming. I'm not sure if they were understaffed or just coming off a big dinner rush. I got a Barbacoa bowl with white rice. Half of the rice in the bowl was undercooked. Yep only half of it so it was either combination of two different batches or just not cooked well. The amount of protein MUCH less any other chipotle would give you. Maybe half. Considering all I get is rice, meat, pico de gallo, and guacamole, a small portion of meat changes the entire meal. In addition to that, no one's restocking the self serve drink & utensil counter. There were no forks and they appeared to have run out of branded napkins and are using bathroom paper towels. I did not read the reviews before I came here. Now that I've read some of them. Chipotle's 08-04-24 The taste of the food has improved over time but the value of what you get to how much it cost I feel isn't worth the money. The burrito was a joke! It was 1/4 the size it used to be and cost more! I'd say the burrito was more of a kids meal size. The burrito bowls were OK. They too have gotten smaller but cost more. This is likely the worst Chipotle I have visited. 1. We stood in line for 2-3 minutes when we walked in, even though there was no one in front of us and there were numerous employees there, Then, one person showed up and had to work the whole line by herself, so took another 5 minutes to get my family's orders completed. 2. My child ordered a small chips and queso to go with her kid's meal. They gave her the chips, but no queso. When I went back to get the queso, the cashier said I had to pay another $2 because I didn't have the receipt. My child literally just ordered from the cashier, but she refused to give us the queso because I didn't get a receipt from her. 3. The men's bathroom was filthy. I come here about maybe 2-3 times a week and I've never had an issue but recently I've chosen other meal options. Why is the girl with the red or purple hair so stingy with the potions? Does she get docked if she gives me more than a standard portion? I'm not asking for double meant I WANT THE STANDARD PORTION. I've been to this one 3 times because I only occasionally work in town and forget that it sucks. The first two were app orders and both times they forgot an ingredient. One time it was guac - which is like $5 so that's a pretty big thing to leave out and not let me know or offer any other recompense than the chipotle app itself. The second time it was THE MEAT. I went in person today and watching her make the bowl she was either trained to be very stingy with the ingredients or just was too lazy to reach in and get more. For the fajita veg she literally grabbed like a single slice of onion and for the barbacoa it was about 2 - 3 forkfulls. The service was horrible. I was driving from Killeen at 9:45 at night after my daughter's volleyball practice and she wanted chipotle. She has school very early in the morning tomorrow and was planning to eat it in the car but the employee who was working did not give us a fork in the pick up bag. The bowls are always light, I wouldn't mind that but when it cost $15-20 I expect fit to be full. You can practically see the bottom of the bowl in a couple spots. I drove to the location and got here around 11:58am and the order wasn't ready. When I approached the cashier to ask about it, she told me that they didn't get my order because their system was down. The funny thing is that my coworker placed his order about five minutes after I placed my mobile order and his food was already waiting to be picked up. The lady, instead of apologizing and asking what my order was to make it, told me I'd have to go to the back of the line (about 12 people deep as it's lunch time). This is an example of terrible customer service. No apology for their mistake or any real effort to make the situation right. Just a flat "our system is down so you'll have to go to the back of the line." And this is why I go to Freebirds way more often. read more

This location is conveniently located right off I35, so decided to stop here for lunch after a few work meetings and get some food before driving back to Austin. Place was pretty busy, and the line to order was outside the door. They had about 4/5 folks working the food assembly line, but for some reason the line moved extremely extremely slow. I've been limiting my chipotle visits recently because the quality and service has gone way down at every location I've been to, and this one was no different. Portion sizes are way smaller (even when I get double protein), the ingredients don't taste as fresh, and the service isn't usually that friendly. My husband and I haven't been to Chipotle in 2+ years so we decided to grab lunch here the other day. We ordered 2 bowls and 2 large drinks. I was shocked when I looked at the receipt and realized we paid $42 for 2 meals! I understand prices have gone up but I feel like Chipotle is overcharging. My husband asked for extra grilled steak and we were never told it would cost more. I assumed it may be $1-2 more but not $7 for a single scoop of steak! Ridiculous. When asked if I could get a business card to his boss or store manager he became more agitated and rude and threw his hands up and stated he doesn't know who the store manager is and his bosses name is secretive and can't be told. I love Chipotle and usually enjoy my chicken bowl. This visit was a huge disappointment. The brown rice was hard and crunchy which pretty much ruined the entire bowl since the rice is on the very bottom of all the other ingredients and I mixed all the ingredients together before taking my 1st bite. Asked for queso and they were smug like they were bothered by the request and said it was additional. Then they charged me and forgot multiple things in my order.
