I've been here about 3 times and everytime I come here (out of desperation) I'm even more disappointed than I was the last time. Every Single time. This is the most unhygienic, unprofessional chipotle I have ever been to in my life. Today is the last and final straw though. They can't roll burritos and Every time I go and attempt a burrito.. it always comes out a soggy mutilated mess. You literally have to ask them to change the foil because there's so much liquid on it from their poor attempts to roll! Secondly this location is FILTY Every time I go there's food and sauces all over the floor and the counter where they prepare the customer food. This place is an FDA violation waiting to happen with terrible customer service to boot! I often wonder if they even have a general manager at all. It's the wild Wild West of chipotle's! I've been coming to this chipotle for the past few months. This will be my last time giving this branch any money. The workers have bad attitudes, they're always out of ingredients, and the store is dirty. I literally heard word for word that the new "Polo Asado" is the exact same thing as the regular chicken. You don't say that out loud in front of customers AFTER I have already paid. They don't accept cash unless it is exact change, which means the manager is lazy and won't go to the bank to stock the register. I'm calling BS on this so called "coin shortage" when the restaurant next door will happily take cash all day. I'll be filing a complaint with corporate. read more

They never have any product! Anytime they get a catering order, they forget they have a lobby full of people. The lady had the audacity to be mixing a fresh batch of rice, and look us dead in the eye and say, "we're out of rice, this is for a catering order" Terrible customer service. I understand being busy but instead of having customers WAIT IN LINE, how about you announce to the long line out the door that you are out of everything! I tried to give this spot another try after a previous bad Experience. This is the worst Chipotle location I've been to in the country. They always get your order wrong or it's cold , or they don't give you nearly a 1/4 a cup of meat. And when you ask them for more it's defiantly an issue. I had to drive back to the restaurant for nothing because they wouldn't remake the bowls we didn't even eat. The company doesn't have a working corporate number so I had to go through a robot in the app just to get a refund. Never again. read more

The food is amazing but the grill guy was VERY rude to his co-workers!The guy in the front making peoples orders would tell the guy in the back that the rice was running low multiple times before my order and the guy in the back would just say "cool" roll his eyes and continue grilling. read more

I stopped by on the way to Dallas. The service needs improvement, but I don't think Chipotle's Executive management cares. There was no consistency in how food was prepared from bowl to bowl. They will upcharge you without your knowledge, but it is quick food and a healthier option. I have to pick and choose when to eat Chipotle. read more

Customer Service was good, but my food was not. My chips were stale. Ordered to go, and merely passing through. Never experienced old chips before. Cashier stated that they can't scan rewards or the app period and to redeem it later myself with my receipt. Great food usually. Decent service. Yesterday the guacamole was kind of brown and dark green and unappetizing. If it's not up to standards it shouldn't be sold. Not as bad as Freebirds Temple location but still. They didn't have enough crunchy taco shells to fulfill 2 orders, so had to go soft and the tacos we're good but super cold. Also the rice was kind of dry and the pinto beans were bland. Everybody has bad days so will still be back. The carnitas on the crunchy taco was excellent. Employees are professional. read more

I hate going to this chipotle but it's the only within a 20 mile radius. The staff is rude, (even pre-COVID job shortage) and if you order online you can guaranteed that something will be forgotten. Once, they even forgot to put cheese on my quesadilla on my delivery order and when I called the store the girl that answered the phone asked me what did I want them to do about it. This last time when trying to redeem a free entree from Chipotle rewards in the app, the manager got an attitude because she said that it was going to mess up her count at the end of the night. The Chipotle at Ft. Hood is so much better but not always the most accessible with it being on a military installment. read more

Food was good as usual however the man (with a beard) who helped me create my bowl was a complete jerk. Made it seem like I was in his way by just showing up and ordering food. Chipotle 3550 S General Bruce Dr Temple, Tx This was the worst experience so far. I wish I could give 0 Stars. Lately, the food has been below standards at any Chipotle. I went to the above location on 8/1 at 4pm. When we entered there was one couple in the dining area. A staff member was talking to what looked like a new hire in the lobby. She stared at us and then resumed her conversation. We stood at the counter for 4 minutes before Alex acknowledged we were there. During our wait Alex stocked cups etc. When she finally walked over she slowly washed her hands and slowly walked off around the corner for gloves. During our wait she never communicated her intentions. Once she officially came over to us she rudely asked us our order and slopped the food together. I stood there wiping off the dirty food containers. She did not apologize. I will make a formal complaint with corporate and the district manager. I hope something comes out of the review other than being deleted. This felt like a very racist experience. read more

This is one of the worst chipotles I've ever been to and I've been to over a dozen spread from across four states. The manager (Matthew) is very very rude and unfriendly. I was getting my bowl the other day and he scoffed that I didn't order my items in the correct order and made it difficult for him. He scoffed again when I was taking time to talk to my wife about what she wanted on the bowl. He didn't say anything and had a terrible demeanor about him. I also have been shorted on my meat and rice portions on numerous occasions. This place has terrible management and terrible terrible customer service. There are a few great workers her but overall the place has definitely gone downhill in the last year. I hardly come here anymore because of it. And the manager Matthew is veryyyy rude to his workers and condescending even when there is a huge line, how embarrassing for the staff and how belittling. If I owned a business he would be filed against and fired. I don't recommend this place. read more

This is probably my favorite fast food place in town. If you're going to splurge, this is the place to do it. The service is typical, though I'd argue that's part of the trendy feel of the jizzoint. Our prepper, (I want to say his name was Zad), was able to give us some great guidance and was especially helpful in pairing bowl with our type of meat. everything you heard is 100% true and then some! obviously the guac is the main event, every time I go it's top-notch. read more

We placed a large pick up order at this location and they completely botched it. Upon arrival they did not have it ready yet so we had to wait. Then we were told they messed up our order so they had to remake it. When we were opening the food nothing was labeled so we had to cut all the burritos in half to figure out what was what. Still some of the orders were incorrect so some people had to go elsewhere to get lunch, and we were all late for work. Considering we placed the order online over an hour beforehand we expected it to be ready, and we were really disappointed. Never ordering from here again. The Waco location is much better read more

I've honestly never had a bad experience here at the temple location. Everything Is always fresh, and their steak isn't overly chewy. The chips can be stale, but that's about the only bad encounter I've had. This is my favorite place to go when I need something quick. read more

Had lunch at this location with a Co Workers.... Normal long Chipotle Line no biggie... saw the Manger running over this poor kid in front of customers telling him he has to get faster or else... poor kid looked scared to death. The manager was also pushing his employees to make the customers choose their burrito toppings faster. It felt very unfriendly and almost like there were herding us. Tried their "New" queso very granular not smooth like you would expect it to be... had to repeat what I wanted over 2 times to the line people due to the MGR walking behind them like a bull dog... Other locations I've been to are great this one needs to be looked at more from CORP HQ. and like most are saying the portions are very very small compared to other locations. read more

I'm a chipotle fan, but this location is either being managed to make the smallest Chipotle burritos on earth or need to do some training. My burrito was about 1/3 the size of a standard chipotle burrito as I had rice, black beans, carnitas, cheese, sour cream and hot sauce. Taco Bell's 5-Layer burrito was almost twice as big. Normally struggle to finish a burrito and left hungry. When I saw the burrito I looked at the guy and said "Seriously"? I could have said something and probably got a proper burrito, but I should not have to do so! Won't be back here anytime soon! read more

The people at this location in Temple, TX go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. They helped me (a first time and not the last time customer) in making the right choice and was patient with me in the ordering process and was very considerate and generous. placed my order through the app and when I arrived to pick up my order I, went straight to the pick up station. There was only one order on the station, I noticed it was not mine so I asked the manager behind the counter if mine was ready? The first words out of his mouth were "do not come in here grabbing packages that are not yours". I stayed calm after that comment and I proceeded to explain to him that I had placed my order though the app and I even showed him my order confirmation on my phone. He then told me in the rudest way possible to place the order again or leave! I told him I was not going to pay again and he told me to leave using profanity. I did not scope to his level and left without my food. As a business owner myself, there is no way I would have a person like that managing my business.
