My significant other came here wanting to enjoy dinner. We come here ALL the time. I told the cashier that we had found a buy an entree get one free on chipotle's website. She told me without a barcode she couldn't apply it. It was a bit frustrating because on the website there's no way to obtain a barcode? I tried to keep clicking on the screen and she didn't help much. It would've been nice if maybe a manager or supervisor could've helped us figure out a solution. So came here at 6:53pm today and yall don't have any white rice and make everyone in line including me wait like 10 minutes for rice and everything else was pretty much empty or not fresh also while yall have like 9 people working all in the back standing around not doing anything what's so ever. I love chipotle. Eat it once a week and it's always takeout. I got a kids build your own. Flour tortillas, steak, cheese, and sour cream. Drove home (7 min away) and the steak smelled very funky. Proceeded to build the taco and I touched the meat and it was VERY VERY COLD. The meat is disgusting, I believe it's spoiled. Something is completely off. I couldn't even swallow it, chewed it up and spat it out. I'm so disappointed. Money gone straight to the trash and still so hungry. DISGUSTING!!! Sustainable yet still trash, just less of it and better composition of the materials which seems to be light weight cardboard/paper that can break down much faster than all these plastic containers we through away daily! The packaging compliments how your food is served with the top cover that separates the black beans and white lime rice from the main course, which in my case was the Barbacoa Quesadilla - delicious! Great work Chipotle, who ever came up with this idea cares about what we throw away...daily and would love to see this happen with all other food establishments! read more

So my running partner, Christopher C., and I decided what the heck?! A free burrito?! SURE!!! I ordered a grilled chicken burrito with (easy) rice, chicken, salsa fresca, guac, sour cream and lettuce. Normally this burrito would run about $6-7. Christopher C. ordered the steak burrito. I enjoyed my burrito and was def filling! I did try the steak and tasted some spice to it. We also ordered chips and salsa. I found the chips to be rather salty. This establishment was clean, and the employees are really friendly - even coming up to ask how our meals were. I had a very unpleasant experience today and I don't think I'll be returning to this location again. I went in around 1 pm and the guy there was extremely rude, very unprofessional and shouldn't even work there if he hates it so much. I get that sometimes workers deal with other shitty customers but don't carry that nasty attitude to the ones being nice !! My 9 year old brother was ordering his food and this guy gave him a look as if he was stupid and said "I heard nothing of what he just said" so I started ordering for him instead to make it easier. He then proceeded to rush me through my order and was being so rude the entire time I felt like cussing him out. There was a point in which I couldn't hear what he was saying because it was a bit loud inside and he stood there giving me a nasty look and said " so what do you want" like excuse me ?? On top of that my bowl wasn't even right, I asked for steak and got chicken... I've been here multiple times and never had an issue so please get this guy in check because I'm sure I'm not the only one who left pissed off. read more

Your employees overall are rude, and know almost nothing about what they are doing. I let it slide because I guess I can understand how this can be a simple mistake. Where my real issue is half way through my bowl I feel a texture in my mouth that doesn't break down. This Chipotle is no different from the others I've been to, It has always been a reliable place to visit when you're looking for a filling meal at a decent price. While I can't say that their burritos set any benchmarks for flavor and/or originality, Chipotle gets a shout out for offering sweet and tender Barbacoa as one of its meat options. Some of you may be scratching your head and wondering what is Barbacoa? (To those unfamiliar with Barbacoa, it's a slow-roasted type of meat dish (beef in this case) that offers a pretty unique break from typical carne asada and carnitas offerings). I won't go into too much detail of the Chipotle experience in general; if you've been to one, you know what's served at all of them. Don't be scared if you see a long line as service is extremely quick and efficient. The employees could make an extra effort to up their degrees of customer service - as in putting a smile on from time to time - but hey who am I to judge as I have been called Dr. Gru. So as long as I get in and get out in record time, you guys don't need to smile. Parking can be a pain depending on when you come because I swear this parking lot was like a Costco on a busy weekend. What's to say that hasn't been said. In reading about half the reviews they hit everything I was going to say. Solid menu, consistent prices and fast service, fast for the area. I do know of a location in Santa Ana/Costa Mesa that gets you through the line in about 30 seconds from when the tortilla is off the press. Faster wrappers in the west I say. This is still quick though. I found this location to be extremely loud, the tall tables were a little uncomfortable and I once had to wait for my online order pickup. Their hours are off, but that's due to the location to the theater, outdoor patio is a little dirty and I wish there was some shade. I was told I could not have my beer in the patio area. They do no skimp on the sauce. My go to is chicken burrito, white rice, black beans, corn, sour cream, hot sauce, fajita veggies with a side of hot sauce, chips and a drink. Order it dozens of times as I have it saved on my profile. Oh yeah they have an app too, always slow though, not worth it. Order from your phones browser. Who cares they are linked to McD's. This is more so why Americans think this is Mexican food than anything else. Also I like correcting people on their correct pronunciation of the name of their company. Omg I love chipotle. I usually get a salad half chicken/steak. The meat is always fresh along with their ingredients they have show cased. The staff works hard to maintain a full bar of meats and toppings while keeping a clean counter. Their guacomole is amazing so hard not to get it when they make it look so perfect. The workers who have been there a long time are usually friendly of course with any place you have those who are new or those in a bad mood etc. The food itself is so tasty and is close to my house I like to go a lot plus it's fresh and healthy at the same time. Also, another perk is there margaritas they are so good. I don't know if it's just me or if it's the person who makes them at the time but they always seem to be strong which is good. Regular chipotle, person helping must have been new. I've never been to a chipotle and asked for a double tortilla and the try to wrap it with one and then the second. Demolished the burrito, everything fell out as they were trying to wrap it and it was embarrassing for the person at the counter. I should not have bought but I did anyways. Probably not coming back. I like coming to this chipotle I believe the food to be decent and the setting to be pleasing. It disappoints me, a frequent custom, when I end up driving all the way home just to receive a meal that was not made for me. At this chipotle that seal their bags for orders so you would expect to get the meal you asked for. I ended up taking back adams meal and telling the employee that this meal was wrong. He made it no problem which is why I would give this restraint 2 stars, but when telling him that I would like some sort of compensation for my trouble he simply said "No". I always seem to forget about this place and I definitely don't know why!!! Someone brought in some burrito's from Chipotle. I had the Steak which wouldn't be one that I would have chosen but, it was awesome! The steak wasn't too tough cut in perfect little pieces. The rice was so fluffy (Not sticky at all) It had an awesome kick to it! So a few days later I found myself stopping by to buy one for myself and a friend! Chipotle is always good, plain and simple. The only inconsistent thing I ever seem to experience is the "doneness" of the steak; sometimes it is well-done (my liking) and sometimes it's a bit bloody/ medium. My favorite meal to get is the burrito bowl - brown rice (or none if I'm counting carbs), black beans, barbacoa, corn salsa and LOTS of lettuce. Emphasis on the "lots" because sometimes they try to skimp with a dusting of lettuce in which case I just politely request more :-) Always tasty, always fresh and delicious. And I'm always surprisingly full from my meal pretty much all day, which for under $10 is awesome. I only wish they would let me take my beer to go, but I guess this ain't Vegas! ;-) read more

I gotta say, wow, this Chipotle has signage all over Vista Villa Drive that is NOWHERE EVEN CLOSE to the actual store. Just listen. There is a sign for Chipotle, not an advertisement, but a monument sign for the store along with Frazier Farms on Lado de Lomo Drive. Chipotle is two more street lights further down Visa Village Dr in the Cinepolis complex! There's even a monument sign, not a billboard or advertisement, in the Lowe's parking lot two blocks away. That's not even close to the store! For the love of God, WHY!? This is the most frustrating Chipotle I've ever tried find. Good lord. read more

I, too, am a big fan of the Chipootle. It's delicious, it's good for you, and I admire their business practices (buying from local vendors, promoting sustainable agriculture and ethical treatment of animals, etc). But I'm surprised that no-one has mentioned their margaritas. TRY THEM!! They're 3.75 and way better than you would get at most sit-down-and-here's-a-menu restaurants. And by the time you finish one, you're gonna need that burrito in your belly just so you can drive home. p.s. - I rate it $$ because a burrito and a margarita will run you about $12. p.s.s. - I listed it as "full bar" because they do serve their margaritas, along with a fair selection of beer (I think I recall seeing Stone there), but nothing else. read more

Absolutely my favorite restaurant in Vista. The moment I walk In I get a cheery HELLO! Welcome!!! I've been going to this chipotle once or twice a week for half a year since moving here and I always have such a great experience ordering here. It's loud but that's how chipotle is! In never in here longer than a few moments when I take out. SO much faster than going to a drive through. On a good day, parking, ordering, and paying, (including filling up drink) & leaving, takes 1-3 and a half minutes. Seriously. The employees are so receptive and always have a smile. There have been a few times I've even gotten meals covered because I forgot my card, and once for just cuz :) I'll be back so soon. #chipotle read more
