I come here at least once a week and I love it each time. I usually get the steak bowl with chips and I've never had issues yet. The place is easily accessible, has plenty of parking, hardly any wait time, and the staff is fantastic. I've never had any issues with how the food quality turned out and the restaurant itself is kept really clean, which is a definite plus on my book. Been going there once a week for about 3 years now and I can't remember a single time where I had any issues. Love the food, great meal to stop by and grab on a day where you just don't feel like cooking. Definitely recommend those in Watertown who hasn't tried chipotle to give it a shot. Went in hungry and received the smallest portions ever. Asked the girl if she gave me half portion when a partial spoon of rice was spead across the bottom . ( thoughtt she was confused because I explained I wanted a second boat to divide up one of them). She replied no, it was a full amount. I went on and got a tiny sprinkle of chicken. I asked for every topping and ended up with bowls that where level with the brim of the bowl. When the lids went on at the register, I made the comment they have never been that small and we are still going to be hungry. $23 for 3 half full rice bowls. I won't be back any time soon. Since I've moved up to Fort Drum area, my husband & I (loyal Chipotle veterans) have frequented this location about 3 times now. First off, the service is wonderful! The quality of food is excellent, fresh & flavorful. The restaurant is always clean, well stocked, and they even have with fresh cut lemons & limes. This Chipotle team really takes pride in their jobs, checking up on guests to ensure everything is up to standard, supporting & helping each other out & are always timely in service! I love their customer service! My husband and I ordered steak burrito bowls and waited no longer than two minutes for them to finish chopping the steak. At the register they gave us a buy-one-get-one meal because we had to "wait" for our meals. I was shocked because I've waited a lot longer in other Chipotle's back home (Las Vegas) and they would've never done that! It's so refreshing to be able to support a great business who care about their customers! Thank you Chipotle, my husband and I are definitely huge fans who are now loyal patrons! I love that there is a Chipotle around here. The staff gives decent amount of portion sizes and they're very friendly. On a Sunday, there was no wait at all, which makes everything better. First time at a Chipotle for me. It was ok. I had no clue what to expect. The place looks like a warehouse with basic steel tables and wooden bar seats to eat at. The choices on the menu are limited. You pick between like 6 things and that's it. Food was good. Not great...not bad. Ok. The food was well prepared and fresh. It tasted good but was not overly flavorful. It was actually kind of bland for the expected style of food. The prices were high for what I felt we received and the seating is industrial and crammed in with the waiting order line running around it and traffic path to the door through it. On top of that there is no free salsa bar like at Moe's. Overall, while I like the idea of fresh organic or locally grown produce, the premium price tag, under-seasoned food, and industrial atmosphere didn't invite my family to return to Chipotles. Your tastes may be different so it's worth a try because the food is not bad. Though for my money, I'll be eating at Moe's if I want something Mexican style. read more

I will have to say out of all the Chipotles I visit, this location had the freshest food I have had in a while. I got a Bowl, the chicken was hot and fresh, and all the ingredients were good. My first Chipotle experience and food wise it was awesome. Service, the two girls behind the counter weren't that nice, but after we ate one of the employees asked how everything was, which I never see in any fast food restaurant. After my heartbreaking discovery that there are no Mexican restaurants in this area (WHAT is up with that?!) I was relieved to find that at least there is a Chipotle- and a good one, at that. I wish I could give it Zero stars. An employee just got a brand new tattoo, you can obviously tell it was fresh..literally wiped her tattoo with a cleaning rag and then wiped the the counter where the food is being held...like talk about cross contamination. That tattoo is an open wound and just wiped it where the beans and rice are...people are gonna get sick...she could have hepatitis or hiv. I will literally NEVER eat here again. I told the manager about it and he said "the rag doesn't touch the food" sure but the food touches the counter and she swipe some of the rice BACK IN TO THE RICE. I like chipotle but I'm definitely more a Moes girl. This place is clean and there is indoor and outdoor seating like at Moes. This place doesn't have a salsa bar that I remember and a lot less drink options compared to Moes super advanced drink selector machine thingy. They are also missing a queso for your burrito or chips. They use shredded cheese which doesn't melt into gooey goodness and they put barely any on. No bueno for me! What has happened here? The place is understaffed...most of the employees walk around like Zombies. Usually one manager that seems to care is doing it all. I usually have Chicken and Vegetable Burrito bowls and then take out. The vegetable were left so long in the warming pan that they had turned to mush. And this is a regular occurrence the last three times I have been there. I have seen the vegetables at other locations left to limp and die as well. Where is the quality control? I L-O-V-E Chipotle, but this review is based upon the Watertown, NY location. The facility is like all the other Chipotle's and the food is great. The employees, however, could use some more training. Chipotle is run on an assembly line. If one link in the chain is broken, the whole production is off track. I've been here several times and each time it seems like there are always new people working the line. My husband has had his order redone three times because they overstuffed his burrito and either ripped the tortilla while trying to roll it or totally screwed it up trying to roll it. The line seems a bit unorganized and they keep jumping from one station to another and orders often get mixed up or messed up. I've had to correct my order several times to different people. This location is really frustrating and if it weren't for the fact that I love the food, I wouldn't keep putting myself through this mess. On the upside, they are very apologetic and will fix your order if you ask them too, without question. I can't be mad at them, but it appears as though they haven't been trained properly before being put on the line. Word of advice; pay attention to your order and make sure they give you what you ask for all the way to the end. I always get chips and guac at the end of my order and every time they charge me and forget to put it in the bag. I have to remind them to give it to me. read more

I have been a vegetarian for over 40 years, and I have also lived and eaten in Mexico for a few years too. I mistakenly confused Chipotle with Qboda and thought their food was wretched. In fact, I can say with great certainty that Chipotle has the best guacamole that I have ever eaten in a restaurant, especially a fast food place. Anybody can put meat on a tortilla and call it a burrito. But the extras that Chipotle offers are quite good. Their tomatillo salsas are very tasty, and the corn relish is at least OK, although they certainly use frozen corn. I have eaten at the Watertown Chipotle 3 times in the last two days. In each case I have had some version of the burrito bowl. My lunch guest has the massive, two fisted burrito. In Mexico, no one I ever met makes monster filled tortillas like Chipotle. But my guest really liked his and ate the entire thing. The various meats looked both tasty and pretty authentic, although I did not sample any of them. I don't approve of steaming tortillas as they do, but the lines at this place make it clear that my vote is an outlier and rather irrelevant. The chips are fresh and tasty, as is the cilantro lime rice. Nobody in Mexico wraps rice in tortillas, but in the US this is common practice. I would say that this is way better than average Texican food and the price is right. I commend Chipotle for its vegetarian offerings, beans w/out lard, and great guacamole. My last dinner was a vegie burrito bowl with the cilantro lime rice, a bit of tomatillo salsa, and lots of guacamole. Along with some chips, I had a nice, light supper. My hat is off the Chipotle for raising the bar for Mexican style fast food. Now all they need in Watertown is a liquor license and a good michelada with lots of lime and salt. I have no clue what the prior reviewer meant about " eating paleo" but I agree with the 4 stars. If you show up around 7 p. m. be ready for a line outside the door and a wait that is worthwhile. read more
