I paid $20 plus dollars for a bowl and a drink, it seems like Chipotle gets more and more expensive for less. The service was good, but the food canisters were getting kind of empty. Anything that you add extra is $2 to $3 each. The business had a lot of flies as well that made you keep swatting to keep your food safe. We cleaned off our own area/tables as well before eating. When you think about it, this place is crazy expensive for the amount of food you receive. read more

Customer service is non-existent in this place. No one seemed to want to be there and despite it being a mess, no one was cleaning the lobby. The atmosphere was sad. Well, I have seen their awesome salads with Guacamole on top. So I came to Wichita Falls to try it. Somewhat disappointed. It was ok but... There are about 16 tables inside and Only "2" were Clean. I have been meaning to try Chipotle for a while but never seem to think about it because it's completely on the other side of town. My burrito wasn't ready when I got there, so I waited almost another 10 min for the rice to finish. The staff were great though, and a few min wait isn't really a big deal to me usually. The burrito was a decent size, but for the price of $9 with tax it's not that great of a deal. Local burrito shops offer slightly bigger burritos for a few bucks less. The burrito itself wasn't that great either. The rice was nasty, the Barbacoa was decent, but still not that great either. I was expecting better from such a big and popular franchise. The tacos run about the same too. $9 for 3 tacos is beyond outrageous. I don't really have much of a reason to try them again. read more

Place has gone to shit. Online orders take priority, people actually waiting in line left to dry. There was a line of 15 people waiting and they never took anyone else's order, solely focused on online. There were only two people and four employees on lunch. I understand you need to have lunch for free but learn to stagger your lunches so you don't fuck your employees and customers over. I usually don't leave a bad reviews like this but I think this needs attention. I came here today for lunch around 11:30 and the girl working the line and making the orders was very rude. Everything seemed like an inconvenience for her and she kept cutting me off (multiple times) while I was trying to order. She was also stingy with the extra steak I was paying extra for. I got a scoop and a half instead of 2. When I opened my box, everything was smashed and coming out of the side. The food was ok but the customer service was horrible! read more

Clayton helped me and he was very sweet and friendly!I I got the burrito bowl with 1/2 chicken and 1/2 steak and guacamole on the side! I ordered a burrito bowl and chips. I got home and realized they never gave me the chips I paid for. Disappointed.

I will never go back to this place again. Unacceptable. For the first time ever, I ordered online from the Chipotle on Wayne Ave today in Wichita Falls. When I arrived at the store, the order was just being completed. The order consisted of 1 steak bowl and 2 soft tacos. The first problem is, ALL of the food was stone cold! How can all of the food be cold when the order was just done when I got there? Secondly, I ordered extra sour cream on my bowl. They gave me extra sour cream, about 3 months worth! My food was SWIMMING in sour cream!! This is the worst food I have gotten in a long time and I will never go back to another Chipotle. I'm still wondering how the food was ice cold??? I got tired of eating food from the base, so I ventured off base and was craving Chipotle (seeing a commercial last night might have provoked). This side of town in Witchitaw is actually nice! The Chipotle is new looking, nice and clean both outside and inside. The staff was friendly and of course the food is on point! In the commercial I saw the new Queso.. being a cheese-addict myself.. I had to try it. It's not bad.. not amazing either, it's almost like the times when I've tried to make my own queso and the cheeses didn't melt and mix right, leaving a clumpy or textured feel. The taste is bland as well. Needless to say, I can do without the queso and will stick to my bowl and chips and salsa! read more

Standard Chipotle, where the food freshness and portions can be hit or miss. As some other reviewers have mentioned, there are times when this location is very empty and you can tell the food has been sitting out for longer and is less fresh. It's typically pretty dead on weeknights during the normal dinner time; I haven't come much during lunch so I can't speak to that. Sometimes the staff is fast, sometimes they're slow. It varies significantly from visit to visit. The biggest positive is the staff is always friendly. read more

I had the Carne Asada in a bowl and was good. The chips are the worst in town as they are always stale. The chips were not crisp.

Chipotle is the closest thing to a stable relationship you can get. You know the drill when you come here, rice, protein, salsa, greens. And I've eaten my fair share of burritos to know to never overcommit on the initial request of double protein; you want to see what you'll be committed to before going in for the long term on the second scoop. But the portions, oh my goodness. Grace us with a heaping, loving spoonful that is the known standard worldwide when you go to a Chipotle, but at this particular location, nope, it's as if they want to serve you the recommended serving sizes. I just went with my wife and one of her friends and we had a great time. I got the pork burrito, my wife had a quesadilla, and our friend had the burrito bowl. We were all smiles. It was a lunch rush and all things considered they got us in and out in a good amount of time. They weren't hung up on any one order, and they all seemed to be working fluidly. The only reason I didn't mark it higher is because of the prices and an overall lack of seating. As someone else said already, Chipotle pricey. I'm a bargain guy myself but I'll fork out money for good food... No pun intended. But in all honesty, I'm not sure it's worth the price. I feel like if I bought the means to make the burritos/tacos/quesadillas they could be made at home for far less. But that's just my 2¢. Moral of the story: great food, over priced. read more

After all the hype and waiting for this place to open, it was just a big bummer of a place to eat. I have to give them one star or the review will not post, and one star is wayyyy too high. We, 3 couples, decided to grab a late lunch and went on a Wednesday at about 3 pm- figured it wouldn't be busy and we could just really have a pleasant meal. Boy, we were sure wrong, other than not too busy. The noise levels are bad with all the hard surfaces, it was dirty and employees standing around obviously not cleaning, plus they seemed to not care about the orders either. The prices are high for scanty servings, though with the poor quality and taste of the food, maybe that was for the best. The employees also need to be taught food safety and when to change their gloves before handling more food before they make someone ill.* We all agreed if this is the "famous" Chipotle's, they should be changed to "infamous"; none of us will go back there as there are too many other good mexican and tex-mex places here in town to pay for over priced poor tasting food served by sullen and uncaring employees in a dirty grubby restaurant. Don't waste your money and time here, pass it by for almost any other place in town, even McDonald's! At least McDonald's has the food they advertise on their menu! *I'm normally pretty adventurous at times re food issues, I have eaten off food vendor carts in Mexico and worse places where you know it may well be risky, but to see an employee wipe at their nose and then handle food was a bit over my comfort level for here in the states. read more

best Chipotle i've ever been to and i've been to a ton. stopped on road trip. clean and online order was ready quick and packaged so well.

Chipotle is my absolute favorite so it's pretty hard for me to complain. On a Wednesday night (yesterday) right before 9pm there's a line of about 7 people.. There's only 1 worker working the line, Daniela, and 3 others talking in the background/ casually preparing food in the back. Props to Daniela because the like continued to get longer and longer and she never complained once and got the job done. I understand it was later and the food prep has to be done before close, but the customers come first and one employee shouldn't do it all. It was very frustrating watching one person work her butt off while the rest watched. The customers waited 15-20 minutes in a line that during normal rush hours takes the chipotle line 5 minutes to knock out. Give your girl Daniela a raise for working hard all the time and show the others what team work and proper customer service is. read more

This Chipotle is nearly always mostly empty and with good reason. While Chipotle is nothing great to start with the low volume here seems to allow the food to sit a bit longer than usual as as a consequence doesn't usually look as fresh. The staff always does a good job getting your order done quickly so this makes a good spot for a quick lunch but there are definitely better options in town for a good burrito or Mexican food. If you need a fast food burrito around the mall then this place will make your favorites pretty consistently. read more

I decided to give them a chance and see if they'd improved in the years since had the e-coli scandal and, I have to say ...no. I got gummy tortillas, undercooked rice, overcooked meat and canned peppers. I took about a half dozen bites before giving up and chucking it in the garbage. Your average Chipotle restaurant. It can get busy depending on what time you come due to an Air Force Base being right next to it so try to avoid going around 11-1 pm. I got the bowl with half steak and half carnitas, and personally I think the carnitas are the best. read more

Disappointing. The staff did not speak good English so I couldn't order what I wanted. By the time I got to the register I was so frustrated I just wanted to get out. Rice was undercooked. I've been to chipotle restaurants literally everywhere I have ever lived ranging from Waco, all over the Dallas area, Houston, and I'm sure a few other places. The food at this chipotle is the same as it is. But the service here sucks!!! I asked for an extra side of cheese and the rude lady told me it was an additional cost. I was excited to learn Chipolte was opening up here having heard so much about it. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to all the hype. The atmosphere had all the joy and life of a prison with its cement floors, white ceramic tile walls, steel countertops and glass windows. All these hard surfaces bouncing the sound around created ear splitting level noises. I seriously thought I lost the hearing in my left ear when a toddler pitched a fit near our table. And whenever someone opened the door, the wind blew our napkins. It was like eating underneath a highway overpass. I had the chicken taco and it was excellent meat, smoky and delicious. Although $6.50 for a regular sized taco plus $2.00 for some guacamole plopped inside is super pricey. They charged $2.00 for a handful of tortilla chips and a tablespoon of salsa. Surprisingly, there weren't a huge variety of toppings. For instance, they didn't even have onion or tomato, which are standard taco/burrito ingredients. I can't recommend Chipolte because it's so unpleasant to eat there and the food is way too expensive. read more

Definitely not the best chipotle I have dined at (from Rockwall, Tx going to college here now) but still very yummy! The restaurant is tiny so we always just take it home or go when we know it won't be as crowded. Don't believe the reviews of how bad the food is because it's amazing! I always get the steak tacos and my husband gets the chicken tacos..so good!! The food is so fresh and always hot. It's a new restaurant and I know they are still working out the kinks so I'm rating this chipotle 4 stars. We've been eating chipotle for 4 years now and it never gets old! read more

I really used to like this Chipotle until today. So I walked in this afternoon and it was virtually empty save for literally 3 customers. Two were already eating and the third was waiting on an order to be filled. Chipotle is typically slammed, so I thought I was in luck today. Nope. Out of the 5 employees who were there (two doing food prep, one at the register, and one working the food line), none of them even acknowledged the fact that I was standing there wanting to place an order. No eye contact, no "We'll be right with you", nothing. They seemed to be on auto-pilot, so I finally just gave up and walked out. They didn't even notice they had lost a paying customer! Is this what the Wichita Falls location has become? Needless to say, the complete lack of customer engagement was extremely off-putting and I will never set foot in there again. Shameful. read more

I love chipotle and eat it rather often. Came to this one and it's super clean and nice, people are friendly. But I must say I'm very disappointed in how much they put in the portions, I had to ask the girl making my bowl to put more rice and beans because it was not even enough to cover the bottom of the bowl.
