The food is always delicious! I'm a sucker for the chips and guacamole! I always order a burrito with high protein steak! It's the best! The service is top notch! The staff are always precise and I've never had an order be messed up. Very apologetic and appreciate for the patience that you have. Note they are busy during the afternoon and early evening. So expect a little wait when you go. The ambience and atmosphere is great! Very chill with low lights and plenty places to sit. Note, when they're busy sometimes tables may be dirty. Came in at 8:20 on a Tuesday Evening they were completely out of everything. The main guy running the line was yelling at his other employees and slamming his fits and our food down when we were asking for extra of anything. Then we asked for the new chips which we were told we had to order online. We ordered online and waited 10 extra minutes for this girl employee to hand us our food rudely after it's been sitting there. The whole experience was really disappointing and rude. I hate leaving any sort of negative review, but there is always a quality or accuracy issue anytime I go to this location. My friend decided to cater for a basketball team dinner, it was a good experience overall but the proportions where a-little off, gave a small container of sour cream so would ask for extra if your feeding more than 5 people. Great customer service and quick to get food. We came around lunch time and got 2 chicken bowls. The service was Covid appropriate, with spacing and hand sanitizer. You can't eat in this location still so it's carryout or grab and go. The food and sides are all fresh and there was no line which was awesome. They also cater to medical and police so we got our food for half off. Great service to have, we will definitely be coming here more, or ordering to go. read more

I'm writing about the horrible mistreatment I received at Chipotle in Woodhaven today. I often order DoorDash and online, since the start of the Woodhaven location. On occasions when my order was wrong or missing items...I have called to speak to a manager, as food gets expensive when items are missing etc. I've had managers who have been happy to fix any problems. But today I went in inside the store to place an order. I ordered nachos, which are not on the menu, but I have ordered this MANY times before. I simply pay for a bag of chips, and the chips are in place of the rice. IT'S STILL MADE LIKE A BURRITO BOWL. All of a sudden, a manager started telling the young girl who was preparing my food... "No! Do NOT make her nachos.! " I replied..."Ok, but you just made them Wednesday." The manager became really rude, "Who made them for you!!! So you're telling me that she made them in my face!!!!" I could not believe his tone and the treatment. He then said..."I know who you are!" So then I asked if he was upset with me because of the times that I called when my DoorDash orders were wrong? He continued to be rude and tell me "YOU'RE going to Taylor!" I asked for his managers name. He refused to give it to me. I asked the employees...He told them..."Don't talk to her! I said, what is your name? He replied..."Moe!!! M-O-E!!!! Tell whoever! As he laughed sarcastically. I was totally humiliated. He told me..."Get out, I'm calling the police!" I walked outside. The police came, not one, but two police cars! I explained to the police officer that I ordered nachos that were NOT on the menu, but there was never an issue in the past. I explained that the particular manager on duty at this time obviously has some type of vendetta against me for my former issues with my online and DoorDash orders.. Even the officers apologized to me for what happened to me. I could not believe that a restaurant that I frequent as often as I do, would allow a manager to treat a customer as poorly as I was treated today. Love the vegetarian options. It's tasty food and the cooks keep the ingredients stocked. This location is filthy. From the line they prep your order on, to the pickup and pay counter, chairs & tabletops....it is impossible to look past how dirty this location is. I was driving through Michigan for work and decided on Chipotle for lunch. I have been to this location twice now just before noon. Given that it just opened, there had no fajitas. This occurred last time too. The lemonade dispenser was also not ready. I can't remember but the first time they also didn't have straws or the utensils were low. I am not sure if they had a late start or people love faitjas but you should get there after 12 if you want faitjas. I learned my lesson now and will not be back. This chipotle is on point with everything. The place is clean, they aren't out of most of the items like other locations and the staff is friendly. The other chipotles in the area like Taylor and allen park all suck compared to this chipotle. BEST BEST BEST customer service I have had in a looooong time! I did an online order and was in no rush. They had a computer glitch and my order never printed out for them to see and get ready. Truthfully if they hadn't said anything I would've never known nor cared tonight since I was just gonna go home eat and veg out for the night. The GM had the whole crew stop and make sure my order for my family was done as quick as possible. While the crew got my order ready the GM came to me and genuinely apologized for everything and gave me a couple BOGO coupons and offered a drink. Chipotle is delicious. That can't be argued. But (as with every opening) there are some issues that have to be worked out. For starters, the portion size was laughably bad. Like literally half as much bad: I don't know if they're enforcing a rule (I used to work at a Subway where my manager would count how many olives we put on a sandwich - so I understand if management is trying so hard to cut on costs, they're practically chasing customers away who would like to eat more than half of a burrito) or if they're being stupid and stupid-cheap, but EVERY OTHER CHIPOTLE I've ever been to serves more on portions than this: Midwest, Nevada, California, Oregon: I've been to my fair share of Chipotle's - this is ridiculous. The workers were kind, but slow and clumsy (I had my extra-charged guacamole spill over half of it out when she toppled the dish and she didn't clean even clean it off, much less compensate me with more guac) ... but I'm going to give them grace because I was there on their opening day. I am wondering if they're the way to go, though. Hopefully when I return they'll be better. Management: give me more than two ounces of meat! read more

Delicious food.... when they have it. If you go after 9pm (they're open until 10), there's a decent chance they won't have what you want. Today @ 9:30, they were out of tortilla chips & cheese. Seems like staples that should always be available at a restaurant like this. A couple weeks ago around 9:20pm, they were out of guacamole, flour tortilla shells, corn salsa and cheese. 4 of the last 5 times I've gone after 9pm, I haven't been able to order what I wanted. I ordered a bowl and got through the line, went to the register and I proceeded to pay with cash, but the employee said I can only pay in exact change or card. Chipotle is my place to go after a good workout. I've been to this location a few times and always had a great experience. This time, however, something was afoul with my food. I'm not sure which ingredient was bad, but something was so off that both my girlfriend and I had to spit out the first bite. The real problem was that the manager claimed that nothing could be done. I've been excited for this location to open since I first learned that it was going up. There is a definite stigma that follows Chipotle, but I've had the pleasure of meeting the management team, some of the corporate trainers, and the crew. They are a great bunch of people who are committed to making this location a success. I ate there at their VIP soft opening and picked up a free burrito and some chips and guacamole. The food was great as I've been accustomed to at other locations and the restaurant looks great! There is no need to be leery of eating here! Great tasting food, great looking spot, and great staff!
