We initially started coming to Chips just for the occasional sauna and cold plunge, but we quickly fell in love with the atmosphere and ended up joining the wellness membership! The gym is on the smaller side, but it has everything you could need for a great workout. We've also started playing pickleball here and there, which has been so much fun. We've stayed for a drink or coffee at the bar a few times, and the food has always been good too. Everyone who works here is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and inclusive. This place is awesome! I don't play pickle ball but my friends do. There's full bar & food menu too. They even have an event room. If you are not a member & just want to play make sure you call ahead & plan accordingly. It's a very busy place. If you are not a member they still have great options & accommodations. This is an excellent place for pickleball! It is a sprawling indoor facility with twelve pickleball courts. They also have other amenities, but so far I've only been here to pickle some balls. Reserving a court without a membership is possible, but it can be tricky because members get first dibs; they can reserve courts further in advance. And that membership is STEEP. As of November 2025 it is $139/month or $1295/year. And if you're playing with non-members, they still have to pay a share for a reservation! That's too rich for my blood, but apparently I'm in the minority because currently there is a waitlist of over 100 to even sign up for a membership. But the normal hourly court rates are reasonably priced; I've seen and used more expensive places. But that expensive membership also grants access to the "Wellness" areas, which include sauna and cold plunge facilities as well as regular gym equipment. There is a much more reasonable membership that allows access to that stuff, but none of the pickleball. I haven't tried that, nor have I tried anything from the very cute cafe (It's only open Wed-Sun, and I keep missing it). I may need to update this to report on their food & drink offerings. There is plenty of comfortable seating in the cafe, and actually throughout the building there are tons of really attractive and cozy places to sit and pass the time. Chip's Pickleball was the perfect experience for our group of beginners! The casual setting and ease of booking allowed us to play leisurely. The drinks were so good! We didn't have food but it smelled good. The prices for booking were also very reasonable. The whole venue is super nice and perfect for pickleball fun! I came here for the cafe, although the pickleball facility seems really great! The decor of the cafe had a mid century modern vibe which I enjoyed. Plenty of seating. I ordered the Kyle special with oat milk - this was absolutely fantastic, not overly sweetened and espresso wasn't too acidic. Just perfect. My husband ordered the gingerbread loaf drink which was a cold brew based drink- the gingerbread flavor came out well, but we'd prefer a more coffee forward taste. So I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed this little hidden gem. First I want to start by saying I'm hooked, and excited to learn more about pickleball. Now upon arrival, this place has plenty of parking, and it's less than a half mile from the interstate. When I walked through the door the staff were so accommodating, friendly, and extremely helpful. I filled out my waiver and came inside. This establishment has so much to offer that I spent quite a bit of time just walking around and seeing all of the wonderful services Chip's offers it's truly a one stop shop. They have a nice gym area, a wellness area, a sauna, and a cold plunge, and let me not forget they also have an event space for those looking to have a nice place to enjoy a special occasion it holds 50 plus people. So I met the owner Jack and he gave us a lot of info about pickleball and because of that, we were able to really enjoy ourselves. Now I rode my motorcycle there if you do please bring shorts because you will be sweating and having a blast. I love Chips and I will definitely return. What an amazing spot! I have been following Chip's on social media during the build out and was super pumped to finally check it out! I was able to sign up for a spot in open play with some coworkers through the CourtReserve app. This allowed me to just show up, scan my QR code, and get to playing! The courts are immaculate and the whole aesthetic of the space is top notch! Plenty of changing rooms, space to chill, and even a cafe in house! I came to Chip's for a Yelp event and had so much fun I needed to bring my friends to play pickleball here. We booked a court for 2 hours to celebrate my birthday. Chip's worked with us to get a private space to have a breakfast/ party before pickleball. The staff were super helpful and easy to work with. The food and chai were really good. Pickleball was awesome. They provide you with paddles and balls but you can also bring your own. Overall, it was such a fun way to celebrate my birthday! read more

I joined my first pickleball league here and although it is a bit pricey (I have no idea if it's comparable to others or not, like I said, it was my first one), I really enjoy being able to be active inside, no matter what the weather is like outside. The ladies in my league are wonderful, and I find the vibe to be just the right amount of competitive for me. If I were designing a Pickleball destination, i would emulate chips. They thought of everything and built a perfect venue. First off -- beautiful courts with adequate spacing, barriers and lighting. Plenty of courts. Good noise control and great sight lines. Second, they added great accommodations for players and guests alike. Bathrooms, a coffee bar, adult beverages, food options, seating and places to socialize. Honestly, if this were a franchise, I'd want to invest. read more

Wanted to take a moment to give a tremendous shout out to Chip's Pickleball Club 23 days ago, I had dental surgery involving implanting two teeth and the recovery from this has not been going as expected. Issues surrounding flair ups of severe pain which doesn't respond to over the counter medicines along with chronic insomnia, exhaustion and dizziness have had a major impact on my life, and have caused me to miss over 40 hours of work and have further limited the other activities I've been involved in. One activity which has been severely impacted has been pickleball. Although I have participated in a few open play events and one Crazy 8's event, doing so has been very difficult physically. The truth is that as long as I am managing the pain with appropriate medicine and getting enough sleep, I can effectively participate in some events, though I need to be very careful about this and really should only sign up for less strenuous events that I can leave at anytime without causing issue. Yesterday, which was a Friday, I went to Chip's and arrived at 6:40 p.m. My trip there was because Crazy 8's takes place on Friday evenings. This is an event I regularly participate in. Well, I went to Chip's like I normally do, but there was a difference last night. The difference between last night and most other trips there was that when I went there yesterday, I was not coming as a participant but was instead coming as a spectator. When I got these, I went to the front desk and told them that I was there but that I was recovering from tooth surgery and wouldn't be playing. The woman I spoke to then said that it was good that I was there as a spectator because my name was not on the list of people participating in events. The woman at the front desk also addressed me by my first name and was very cordial in how she spoke to me. This was great for me because it feels good to be treated like I am "a member of the Chip's family". This is a great shout out to Jack Eickhof, the owner of Chips, and to the employees who work there because they definitely help make the environment great. After saying hi to the front desk, I then went to the playing area and over the next 40 minutes, I walked around and engaged in various small talk with a variety of the people there I regularly see. The small talk was nice but it also had a twist because when the people would come up to me and would ask me the proverbial "How you doing?" question, I would come back with an honest answer; that tooth surgery was a bear, that I was struggling with recovery, that I had been to urgent care the day before and had had an emergency post op that very day. Not exactly what you would expect to hear. But the response I got back from those I told was always an honest and empathetic, "I'm so sorry to hear that". I would also tell them that I was being careful in my return to playing pickleball. I said that because there was an essential requirement in Crazy 8's that people who come play eight games that I wasn't going to try to do that for now. I also said that even though I wasn't going to play, that I still wanted to be there. And the response I got was a very nice one. They were sorry about the tooth problems and the impact it was having, that they hoped I would get better soon, that they were glad that I had come and that it was good to see me. And I said hi to Matt and Solina who had just finished a high intermediate match. Then I spent a few minutes talking to Samantha and discussed the impact of the tooth surgery. I said hi to Jacilyn then to Sam and then to David. Then, when Chris came, I learned that he and his girlfriend had moved in together. Then, at 7:00 p.m., Emma arrived and as I have not been to Chip's much in the past three weeks, we spent the next 15 minutes catching up on life. And the point about last night and about these people and about Chip's is that these people are essentially my friends and are an important part of my life even if the friendships are all pickleball related and seldom involve anything outside of playing the sport. These people are my pickleball buddies and I have true and meaningful friendships with them in that context. I am proud to say that I know Matt and Solina and Samantha and Jacilyn and Sam and David and Emma. I know them and enjoy both playing competitive games of doubles with them and hearing about their lives. I love it when they encourage me and I try to do my best to encourage them. They are my pickleball buddies and a part of my life as a member of Chip's. The social aspect of pickleball has also become an important aspect of my life as a member of Chip's. It is for this reason I am posting another shout out for Chip's Pickleball Club in Eagan, Minnesota. read more

Great place to play. You know how many players are going to show up and the level of play. You don't get that assurance when you show up at an outdoor playground court. Also, great pro. I took a class from Nate. It was 3 plus a pro format- high intermediate level. Nate was knowledgeable, helpful, kind, approachable and fun to play with. My play improved as a result of the 90 minute session. I highly recommend him as an instructor. read more
