Fun spot for excellent breakfast, even though seat yourself and serve yourself for coffee and water. Many choices for breakfast and lunch. We had a party of 7 and everyone left satisfied!

Excellent brunch spot located in Minneapolis, not overly busy like most spots for breakfast in the twin cities. This was my first time trying Berry Sweet Kitchen and it was a great experience! When you first arrive, you immediately stand in line to order from the counter and they give you a number then you take a seat anywhere in the restaurant. I met here around 10 AM with two other people and the food was exceptional, I got a breakfast burrito and my other friends got the stuffed french toast, everything was so good. Very picturesque however I did not take any photos except for this complimentary small blueberry scone that we were given at the end of our meal. The staff was very friendly and they had a sizable menu, I will definitely be back!

Berry sweet kitchen has been my favorite spot for breakfast in the Twin Cities for a few years now! I can't help but order the same two dishes every time, so they're all I can speak to. First off, the Banana French Toast combines delicious bread (made in-house) with these incredible caramelized bananas, seasonal berries, and caramel sauce. I would eat this every day. Next, my go-to savory dish is the Breakfast Bowl + Barbacoa. It's spicy, with perfectly scrambled eggs and the typical burrito bowl ingredients. It just works. The restaurant has a small parking lot that gets busy. You grab a menu when you walk in and order at the counter, get your number and a cup for water and/or coffee if you order it, then the order is brought to your table/booth. Pretty no frills and to the point! The owner, John, was lovely to chat with the last time I was here! He is clearly passionate about making amazing food and he came up with the bread recipe himself.

First time visiting this quick service brunch spot. The food was 10/10 the banana French toast was to DIE FOR. So good. The quick service model was a little confusing as a first time visitor. You order immediately upon entering. Water is self-serve, but all other beverages must be ordered at the counter. Great neighborhood brunch spot. There were lots of families and kids, casual environment.

You walk in and you immediately grab menus to look at then you can walk up to the counter to order. My friend and I shared two plates! We couldn't decide if we wanted sweet or savory so we got both to share. For savory we got the Breakfast Bowl and it was soooo good! Drizzled on the plate is some type of hot sauce? It's a little spicy but it pairs well with the beef barbacoa! For sweet we got the Banana French toast and it was super yummy. We only wished it was plantain instead of bananas, but the French toast was still sweet and delicious! Presentation for the food plates were 10/10! Also wish the place was a bit more bright because it was a little dark. For sure will be coming back.

I came here to meet with some friends for breakfast on a Saturday morning around 10:30 am. The parking lot was pretty full but there was plenty of street parking in the area. I walked in and saw it was counter service style. You place your order and pay before you take a seat. There is a lot of seating here and we did not have a wait time! The food here was great! The eggs Benedict were good, they were generous with the sauce. One of my eggs was over done but the other was still runny! The hash browns were honestly soooooo good! I wanted to scrape every last bit of potato off my place (who doesn't) lol The banana waffles were very very sweet but delicious! I recommend sharing with a table or a friend as I think it would be too sweet to have as a stand alone dish! As we were waiting, another person in the restaurant suggested we try the lunch burrito, he said he absolutely loves it! They do serve alcohol here and have mimosas/beer. They also have a fountain drink machine and serve yourself water. Check this place out next time you're in the area!

My sister in law and brother like their pancakes here. We came here on New Years Day right before closing at 2:00pm. When you enter you order at the register first then take a seat and they serve your food. My sister in law got a hot chocolate and I got a regular latte, the drinks are HUGE servings and I asked for a to go cup. I didn't know they had special lattes and with alcohol but it was too late for me to switch. I was reading reviews and their eggs Benedict looked good and I got it with fruit, my sister in law got the strawberries and cream pancakes. My brother got the biscuit with gravy, eggs, and hash browns. And we wanted something sweet so the worker recommended the banana French toast. Which was surprisingly really good, the bananas were like caramelized and fried and the French toast was really Yummy. It looks like there were 2 dining sides and both booth and table seating. They serve alcohol here and they have a private parking lot and street parking.

We were so pleasantly surprised to find this wonderful restaurant so close to our neighborhood! The food was absolutely delicious. The omelette had a great spicy sauce on top and the peppers inside gave a nice crunch. As someone who grew up in the South, the sausage gravy is AMAZING! Will definitely be coming back!

Was in Bloomington and decided to stop by. It was very busy inside but I was lucky enough to get a table right away. They have a nice bar in the middle with restaurant seating on both sides. I ordered the Berry French toast and I can honestly say this is one of the best French toast I've had. The bacon was noteworthy as well but was a tad bit pricey since they smoke it themselves. All in all, a great breakfast spot.

Oh my this food is great ! Traditional American breakfast foods with a twist of Mexican flare options. Their pork for their morning dishes are superb ! They have multiple different flavors of mimosas (not bottomless) but a good healthy portion! All of the food that came out looked absolutely divine! And they are super quick !!! Oh and take home a tart if you are there after Tuesday 11 am. Scrumptious!

The food was outstanding. Never had pancakes that were so delicious. The ambience was casual. There is no service. You order and seat yourself. Clean up was good. There isn't anyone welcoming you to the establishment. I actually found the woman behind the register abrupt. I went to find a table and then go order and was told I had to order first then go find a a seat. Don't think I will go there again. Customer service is just as important as the food, in my opinion. Especially if it's your first time there.

We were in Bloomington for appointments that morning & wanted a good breakfast after a 12 hour fast. We searched breakfast near us and this place came up. It looked like a small local business so we checked it out. It is an order at the counter kind of place, which is totally fine for us. We both ordered the Berry French Toast, my husband added on the bacon and I had the sausage. We both had coffee, which is also self serve. Everything was absolutely delicious and plated beautifully. That secret topping was so yummy! We talked with the lady that was working the counter and she told us that everyone wears multiple hats & that everything is made in house. We really enjoyed everything, the food, the ambiance, chatting with the staff. What a great local find.

This place is such a gem! Being newer to this neighborhood, we stumbled upon this spot and quickly became obsessed! It has a small parking lot (which is super convenient), otherwise, there is an abundance of street parking. The restaurant itself is spacious with a variety of seating options. You have to pay at the counter to order. The food is so good, so flavorful and comes with larger portions. I highly recommend their French toast - so fluffy and the perfect amount of sweet! The Cuban breakfast was EVERYTHING! This has become my new go to breakfast spot! Highly recommend for lover of all breakfast foods :)

First things first--the vibe is chef's kiss if you're into cozy, low-key, intentional spaces. It's quaint without trying too hard, and it doesn't have that loud, chaotic coffee shop energy. I was actually able to focus, which says a lot. Now what really sets this place apart? It's tucked inside Zawadi Center, and that matters. This isn't just a grab-your-drink-and-go type of café. You're surrounded by culture, community, and a space that feels like it means something. Between the event space, the restaurant, and the overall energy, it feels layered... like you accidentally found a hidden gem that locals want to keep to themselves. The refresher? Solid. Did what it needed to do. No complaints there. If I had to give a little Yelp Elite honesty: seating can be a bit limited depending on timing, and if you're someone who needs complete silence, this might not be your spot when it gets busier. It's more "focused but alive" than "library quiet." Overall, this is the kind of place you come to reset, get a little inspired, and maybe romanticize your life for a couple hours. Will I be back? Absolutely.

Love that there's so much variety and the breads and pastries are mostly self serve. I'd get there in the morning for the best and most fresh options. The cookies are huge and delicious. Today I ordered food for the first time as I had heard great things but I was thoroughly disappointed by my breakfast sandwiches. We ordered egg, cheese, and one with bacon and one with ham. It looked more like a grilled cheese with 2 slices of very thin bacon and the other with a small slice of ham. The egg was also very small and flat, hardly filling up half of the sandwich. I wish I had just made my own at home instead especially considering I paid $30; definitely not worth that. The highlight were the potatoes. I don't recommend this sandwich and likely won't be ordering food from this location again. I'll stick to the breads and treats.

The cafe is remodeled and super cute with a fair amount of seating and the food coming out of the kitchen looked good. They have walk up service where you order at the counter and I just wanted a simple iced almond latte. I waited 20 minutes for it. And I was not the only one. The young girl at the front counter finally had to go in the back to find the barista because a lot of people were waiting for drinks. It's summer so a lot of iced drinks being ordered but they were not prepared and they ran out of lids for their iced cups so were using regular cups. And the latte literally just tasted like cold almond milk. :( I was already running late for my hair appointment because of the long wait so didn't have time to go back in to get them to remake it. I will not be going back there for coffee.
