Not a fan of the food. It was delicious when they first opened but not so much now. Recently had a brisket sandwich and it was cold. You could tell it was smoked days prior sliced, put on a cold bun, then served. Would have been better if meat was freshly smoked and bun's warm AND fixings to go with it. read more

This is the best kept secret in Bangs. We use his catering services- the sliced brisket, smoke turkey breast & smoked ham is fantastic. Chip is the owner of this establishment and is very dedicated to his cooking. Beyond what you see at his location or judge, is some of the best smoked meats you'll find for many miles. I've never been disappointed with the quality of food he serves. You can eat there outside or take it home. Great brisket sandwiches are at the top of a long day or winding down Friday night. They are sliced or chopped and both are top notch tender, meaty and not fatty. There's plenty of meat on large buns, no skimping here! Topped with his own BBQ sauce he homemakes himself. He's only open Thursday- Saturday but is very accommodating to cook for your special needs events. Yes, that's right, he'll cook meats for you parties or family gatherings. In going to go 3 stars here because....1st time I had Chipsters it was 5 stars....they catered our school event and I couldnt get enough! The brisket was perfectly cooked and so flavorful!! Ribs were delicious even though I prefer dry rub ribs I enjoyed them. The sausage was good as well. The sides werent nothing to brag about...beans had zero flavor and potato salad tasted like Walmart brand but over-all a 5!! I bragged about how great it was too my wife so she had to try and picked us up some one day for lunch at about 11:30am. Both of our briskets were dry and tasted like it was 3 days old!! The ribs were still good but I dont understand how you can sell someone that brisket and expect a return customer. We are hoping it was an isolated experience and will give it another go sometime! read more

Great! Chopped BBQ sandwich was huge and did not need any BBQ sauce--delish on its' own! The ribs were huge and tender and cole slaw first class!
