I've been here a couple of times and although I haven't had one of their signature drinks I've enjoyed both visits! The first time I had a corn latte which was different but tasty- as long as you like corn and I had a salad. I don't remember the name but the presentation was beautiful and I was super pleased with the size. The next visit I had the chocolate fondue which was a fun treat and the fruit was super fresh and shared a slice of the chocolate pistachio mousse cake. I'm usually not a big fan of chocolate cake but this one was super well done! The pistachio mousse was a great addition! I also tried the Brazilian lemonade which was super refreshing on a hot Chicago day! Roasted: second attempt of visiting this coffee shop. First time they were out of half n half but today we were in luck. They have nice indoor seating and outdoor as well. I love the decor and ambiance inside. We waited at the register for a while before being served but the barista did apologize for the wait. They only have sugar free vanilla but one is better than none. We were offered for here or to go which is something we don't get often and it was very nice. They brought our lattes to our table with beautiful presentation. Latte was ok. Rather bland and tasted very much like warmed milk. The espresso had a slight bitter aftertaste but the prominent flavor was milk not coffee. I enjoyed the overall visit, would come back again but not my favorite. Unroasted: second time is a charm. Came in about a month ago and they didn't have any half and half. We left then feeling disappointed since we were the first ones in as they opened. Jump forward to today and decided to take a walk and try this place again. The decor is nice and the outdoor seating is welcoming. The staff was friendly but no greeting as you walked in. Took a min to acknowledge I was there. They had half and half this time and even carry sugar free flavors. Ordered my usual and got some great latte art. This place is so cute! You have to pay for parking right out front but we found free parking a couple blocks away. There's a lot of cute shops when walking here so the short distance was worth it. This place features marble table tops and modern/cool light fixtures and modern chairs. Well decorated with grey brick always and partial fake plant walls. Very chill and unique coffee shop. Makes me feel like I'm outside of chicago for a little even though I've been in Chicago all my life. They ran out of matcha when I got here later In the afternoon on Sunday, so I went with the iced chai latte. It was delicious! I would def come back. Only taking a star off because our server spilled our drink and only cleaned some of it. She also forgot our water. Chiqueolatte just opened. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. It is the perfect place to enjoy a bite to eat with a friend or relax alone in your own thoughts. You can also easily bring your computer and hang out for awhile. We stopped by late afternoon for a coffee and a tasty treat. They were out of several items and only displayed macaroons, muffins and blueberry scones. The scone was perfectly made. It was lightly sweetened with a soft center. The macaroons needed some work. You can tell by some of the photos that the structure of the cookie was off. Some did not have the crispy egg shell like exterior and others had a center that was hard and chewy. (Chewy like a tootsie roll.) The taste was there but the baker needs practice. These little delicacies are expensive for a reason and the customer deserves what they pay for. read more

Visited the shop with my family and friends -- Loved the cozy atmosphere, homey design, friendly staff, good food and drinks -- I got tropical chai smoothie, my boys got Chiqu-o-Latte special drink "Van Gough" which they LOVED and my wife got her light avocado toast -- along with them we all enjoyed the chocolate fondue served with fresh fruits -- our friends got cappuccino, lattes, hot teas and mozeralla sandwich -- all is all we enjoyed our time -- my kids gave 9 out of 10 in their experience when I asked them and they said 1 point out coz they didn't have the donut they wanted on top of their special drink, the Van Gough anyways, highly recommended read more

We had to visit because of the "Van Gogh". That gorgeous hot cocoa topped with a doughnut or brownie, whipped cream and more chocolate. They only had a waffle that day and that disappointed the kiddo a little bit, but he enjoyed the rest of the drink. It's messy but really good! I had the avocado toast and a matcha latte and both were excellent. The toast was so pretty, they put some care into presentation for sure! My drink was also well-made and perfect with the toast. First glance it just looks like there's table seating in the front, but past the counter there's cute couch and table seating as well. We visited Saturday morning and it was still kinda quiet. Unfortunately, I cannot give any feedback on any of the food since we were told the kitchen was closed even though we walked in at 6:45, 15 minutes before their closing time on a Sunday. The barista was busy packing away food in brown bags and and we were immediately told there are only a few things we can get-basically just coffee. When we tried ordering a latte, they said the espresso machine is already closed for the night. 7pm closing time should be 7pm. Closing up your kitchen 15 minutes before your advertised closing time is not a smart business practice. My wife loves trying out and supporting local coffee shops so we drove 45 minutes from Naperville with our little one to try this place. Disappointed that we had to leave empty handed read more

The avocado smoothie is an unappealing, liquified salad. The service was abhorrent as the lineup grew (I.e., speed was lacking), they lost tickets (I.e., gave products to people without knowing what goes to whom), and when asked about which products were for which customer, the Caucasian women with curly hair was very sassy and toxic in response. I really love their coffee, being based out of Europe you can tell they really know what they are doing. Their pastries, including the macaroons and croissants are also very good. They have a great food menu offering things like avocado toast, smoothie bowls, overnight oats, salads and sandwiches. What I love the most is that it feels so nice and homey inside! I LOVE the interior. They are one of the only coffee shops open inside during Covid. They have a large seating area with socially distanced tables. There is alsoa back area with additional seating. I truly can't say enough about how wonderful this new Logan Square café is! The interiors are INCREDIBLE and perfect for long work days out of the office. When they serve your beverages, the arrive at your table on a little wooden paddle with the cuuuutest motivational note (and sometimes a complimentary chocolate square). There are these really fun covered house-shaped table/benches - I was dying to sit in one but they were all filled. There was plenty of other spots available tho! A few groups were talking quietly but there were a lot of people there working/reading. In terms of coffee, I got a basic iced coffee ($4) - smooth flavor and would rate on the higher end of iced coffees I've had in my life. There are a TON of food/treat options too (sandwiches, bowls, smoothies, macaroons, donuts, cookies, etc). I came here not too long ago with some friends and we were so excited to try the fondue and drinks. It was a bummer that they ran out of milk chocolate for the fondue but they were nice enough to substitute to a pink chocolate (can't remember the name of it). Overall I thought the fondue was yummy but I do agree with another reviewer-- the proportions are a bit off and tons of chocolate is wasted because there isn't enough toppings for 2-3 people. If you did not mind the walk, there is free parking along the boulevard, just be aware of signs. Worth: Overall, yes it is definitely worth a visit. I'm surprised there aren't more reviews here yet, because this spot is both cute and delicious, definitely a treat. Service was super friendly; my friend and I both got the Rembrandt iced hot-chocolates that came topped with donuts and fresh whipped cream, and chocolate-covered strawberries and a marshmallow. The quality of the chocolate though!! So good. I don't even like sweets or chocolate that much and I am still sold. Good level of distancing as well, we sat outside away from everyone else and it was perfectly comfortable especially while drinking a cold drink.
