My friend suggested this place as a coffee shop with good matcha. I ordered the hot honey matcha and it was hotter than I prefer but not intolerable. My order came right away despite it being a busy Saturday and the employees were smiling and helpful when I asked for menu clarifications. Their ceramic mugs for in house orders are a cute bonus.

Had an amazing strawberry Matcha here. It was a little pricey, but the Matcha was great.

Rlly cute spot, would be good to work from! Very aesthetically pleasing! The workers were very sweet and my drink came out very quick. Sadly they were out of all their specialty drink options. I got an iced vanilla latte. This was fine, nothing crazy. Wouldn't go out of my way to get it again.

Cute little coffee shop with outdoor seating, WiFi, and very friendly staff. I got the iced blueberry matcha with oat milk, very tasty & a veggie burrito which was delicious and hot. My only surprise was the prices! For those two items, my total was $26. It was good, but I don't know if it was worth that much. Also, there were flies inside of their pastry case that they could've easily gotten rid of if they had noticed them, but I could see a lot of customers debate about getting a pastry and change their mind because they probably noticed the flies. I'd return if I were in the area and had $30 to spare on coffee and a premade burrito.

From the moment you walk in the place is cute and cozy, the staff is welcoming and there was live music on a Thursday during the middle of the day. Their fall menu has great options, we got an Iced Pumpkin Latte with oat milk and the Toasted Marshmallow Matcha with oat milk, but were really great quality and presentation was great. Drinks are on the pricey side, we paid $22 and some change for just the two drinks. Worth it though to try at least once

Thrd has cultivated a cute image with their simple but beautiful interior and their ceramic mugs and plates. I can tell they derive inspiration from many other popular shops nationwide, and I appreciate the vision. However, the actual experience of visiting Thrd falls short of its portrayed vision. While my chai latte and tiramisu brownie were excellent, my cappuccino was disappointingly lukewarm. Most disappointing though is the number of people who come to this location to attend virtual classes and meetings, so it's a very annoying mix of customers talking into their computers. While I understand some people enjoy working from coffee shops, there should be policy against open calls. Personally, I prefer coffee shops with a more relaxing, quiet, less We Work- like environment.

I've visited a handful of times now and am never disappointed. I've only ever had their matcha (sometimes regular, sometimes fun seasonal flavoring) to drink, but it's always tasty. They serve yummy pastries too! I've never had an issue finding a place to sit and the staff is always friendly. Love supporting this local business!

The staff is super friendly and the coffee is excellent! They have pastries too and a lot of tables and a decent amount of bar seating

A great place to grab your pre-606 coffee. The interior is cute and pink, but the back tends to be crowded. Work here at your own risk! -AD

Oreo latte + vanilla matcha latte

Such a cute coffee shop! I ordered my drinks to go so I haven't spent much time inside. The cafe looks very spacious with tables in the back and lots of counter space. Their menu is pretty self explanatory. They have their specialty drinks listed near check-out. I got the oreo latte for myself and a vanilla matcha latte for my friend. Both were just ok. My oreo latte just tasted like I was drinking chocolate milk with oreo bits. My friend said her matcha was super milky too and lacking flavor.

A nice spot for coffee, pastries, and working. I tried an iced latte and it was delicious, not too strong and very flavorful without any sweetener or syrup. They have decent variety in terms of pastries. We went with a chocolate croissant and that was well received by our taste buds. A good amount of seating, particularly in the back for some quiet work. The staffer at the counter was kind, patient, and crafted an amazing latte. Definitely coming back to try other options.

Enjoyed a wonderful cup of drip coffee during my dog walk. I always miss this coffee shop being open. For whatever reason, I typically do this walk on Monday and they are closed on Mondays. I was happy that they were open and I could grab a hot cup of Joe while walking my dog. The drip coffee rotates and on this occasion it was a lightly roasted. I enjoyed my coffee and the temperature was just right. The cafe is so cute and bright. They offer plenty of seating inside and outside. This cafe is conveniently located off the 606. Glad to have this dog friendly cafe right off the 606. My dog enjoyed the fresh water and doggie treat

I have been on a coffee shop kick and have been trying a lot of local places in the area. I really wanted to like this place but it fell kind of flat compared to some of the other places. First off, the barista taking our order was not nice at all...come on we're in Chicago not New York! Where's the Midwest charm? Second, the fact that they charge you a whole dollar extra to switch from whole to skim milk seems excessive, especially when whole milk costs more and the barista didn't even tell us. The upcharge is also not listed on the menu. We didn't have a good experience here which was a shame since it looks like such a great place. Our vanilla lattes were fine but the vibes were off.

Nice little coffee shop with plenty of seats, friendly staff and good coffee. They have a really good breakfast burrito also.

Cute space but the coffee tasted burnt and there was no attempt for latte art which for the price of the latte, it just isn't worth it.

Staff was friendly and it's always a nice little luxury to get a coffee not made from home in this economy! I ordered 5 coffees one morning, and all the register guy did was write a few names on some cups and placed it down. I understand tipping culture is a divided topic of discussion, but at the end of the day, it is OPTIONAL. After pressing the skip button from what I believe to be non-tip worthy service, he threw a fit and said "Wow you're serious? After I did all that?" Meanwhile all he did was write names on cups. Now I would understand if he was the barista working hard to pump out the coffees, but two lovely ladies were in the back doing that. He shooed me and my friend out of line as we were still processing what he just said. The next customer orders and he had the audacity to talk about us to them while we're 5 feet away. Delusional as he was, he had the nerve to say we were holding up the line and made him do "all that work", and I could promise you, we knew exactly what we wanted to order the second we got up, and took no longer than 45 seconds. We also witnessed he got into it with another customer, so it seems like he's the problem here. Most wild service I have ever received, all for some milky coffees. I ended up tipping the lovely ladies in the back though. Be warned. There are much better spots.

I don't know what sorcery they are using to bake these scones, but they are not your average dry, flaky pastry. They are moist, gooey, huge, heavy on flavors and ingredients, and always delicious. I'm tempted to ask the owner to start texting me the scone flavors of the day so I never miss my favorites. Top 5 scones: - Peaches and cream - Cherry chocolate - Vanilla chai and/or vanilla rosemary (can't pick) - Lemon ginger - Chocolate caramel pecan Obviously I'm a sweet pastry person, but they also always have a couple of savory options like ham jalapeño cheddar, goat cheese, etc. I had one that was like blackberry habanero one time?? I took a sip. Yuck! I waited a few minutes, thinking, maybe it wasn't THAT bad, and tried another sip. Yuck! On my way out, I brought my drink back to the counter. It was still warm. I told the guy that the drink was terrible, that it tasted like warmed up Hersheys syrup. He took my drink and said, "Oh I'm sorry about that." I paused a second; he had nothing else to say. He didn't offer to make me a new drink. Didn't offer a pastry. Didn't offer a refund. I'm out $6 and I did not get to enjoy a treat. We're urged to support local, but experiences like this remind me why I like to go to the consistent chain that ALWAYS remakes my drink if there's a problem (which their rarely is), no questions asked.
