Visited during the Thanksgiving holiday. While the restaurant isn't directly on the beach, it's located right at the edge of the entrance of the beach so it still has a nice view. I'd seen on Yelp that someone ordered shrimp nachos. Unfortunately they no longer had nachos on the menu, but had "totchos" and salsa/ dips. I asked to replace the tots with nacho chips and added shrimp. It was REALLY good. I wish it would be a more consistent menu option. I ordered a margarita and it was a little strong. The service was good. 4/5 stars because it took a lot to get the nachos but I'm glad they were willing to do it. read more

The food is of average quality (for this area, meaning the seafood is fresh and tasty and prepared as expected) but pricey for the quantity you enjoy. The environment is also just average, with some fun things for kids or adults to enjoy (corn hole, for example), but some choices are odd, like the fake grass on the second floor. The staff seem quite robotic and cold. We had an early supper (4pm) on a Tuesday, so I can't believe they'd be tired and they certainly weren't overwhelmed at that hour. Both hostess and wait staff were just meh, no smiles to speak of and little help with ordering or questions about the menu. Worst of all, nothing but beer available--no cider or hard kombucha, and the cocktails were uninspired. Overall, this is barely a three-star spot. read more

Came here on a nice Saturday with a beach of the view. Vibe was really cool with surf boards and beach items all around. Server was great, and attentive to filling waters and making sure the bill was right at the end of the night. Food was a mixed bag as I loved my Cuban sandwich as it was huge and delicious. Multiple people in my group ordered blackened fish tacos/sandwich and got grilled fish with very little taste. Maybe just an off night for the chef. For appetizers the wings were delicious, they were cooked to perfection and perfectly seasoned, we also had the salmon dip and it was so good. We always make a point to come here every time we visit 30A. It's right across the street from the beach and they have nice outdoor seating. As far as the menu goes, any of the tacos are very good. We ate here for lunch and the food was great! We had the fried fish basket, fried shrimp basket, and some fish tacos. Everything we got was delicious, although it was pricey. The bill was $75 on these three items plus an iced tea. The restaurant is clean and has eclectic surfer vibes and had a lot of seating on the first floor, second floor, and additional seating outside with outdoor games. The service was okay. I also did like that their fried items were gluten free and everything on the menu was clearly marked GF. It was nice to be able to eat fried fish and shrimp for the first time in years! There is a shuttle that will take you to the restaurant since there is no parking near the restaurant which was easy and convenient to use. read more

2/15/2025. Absolutely great service and response. However the kitchen was off tonight. I ordered grilled shrimp, received fried shrimp returned them, the server brought out grilled shrimp, first bite nothing but salt. I am sorry you didn't make what the server put in to order, that doesn't give you the right to sabotage the dish. Ten shrimp died in vain due to the kitchen's error/immaturity. The beans and rice were good, the guacamole is under salted and has a weird split cherry tomato garnish. The cucumber salad wasn't fresh and tasted like it was a sliced jarred pickle. At least the cheeseburger I ordered was good. This is a tourist seafood joint, order the cheeseburger instead. read more

Chiringo has a great beach vibe for sure! It was a little pricey for the food quality. We ordered some drinks and didn't receive them til we had already finished our food. We didn't get any refills because our waiter never came back, I actually got up and went to the bar to get more water. I ordered the fish taco and shrimp tacos and was surprised of the quantity of fish. There was more tortilla than anything and it left much to be desired. The weather outside was cold but for some reason Chirongo decided to leave their windows and doors propped open making it in the 50-60s inside. On top of that the seafood served here was nothing special and there are many restaurants in the area are much better. I was left the conclusion that the houses right around there must walk over and that is what caused a rare yelp review failure. No way is this a 4+ star restaurant. read more

We came here for dinner on a Friday night and and luckily had a reservation since the place and surrounding area was packed. It was extremely hard to find parking and we ended up parking back by 30A, the road. We had a party of 8 and had a great table upstairs on the outdoor patio. Our server was with us quickly and got our drink and food orders in. The restaurant is casual for sure and more casual than I expected. The ambiance is loud beachy and there was a large bachelorette party at the table next to us. The menu is small and I end up getting the lobster roll, which at market price I was worried how much it would be. But it ended up being very reasonable. There could have been more lobster as some bites all I tasted was bread. Late night, this is a good place to go out and bar hop, but maybe not for the family with kids. read more

We liked this place. It was a little confusing coming in because there was no manned hostess stand. I found a helpful waitress, Adeline, who found as a table outside. The service was great for a busy Spring Break day and the food was good but the food, as expected was a little pricey $$$ for the setting. Other reviewers said the people working here were rude. We did not have that experience, so I would recommend it. Also I highly recommend parking at the free public lot for the Village of Grayson Beach and take the free shuttle. You will never find a parking spot near the restaurant. read more

True Rating: 4.44/5 Chiringo was an awesome beachside experience that was not planned. I had the shrimp tacos, and they were some of the best I have ever had. The place itself was also super cool and vibey. Overall, Chiringo is a nearly perfect example of a beachside bar/grill. I had the shrimp tacos, and like I said- probably the best I have ever had. The shrimp was huge and fresh, the jalapeños were crisp, and the pickled onions were the perfect touch that I had no idea I was looking for. I also had a bite of the bbq bowl, and it was solid. The tater tots were way too crispy for me, but it could have just been a bad batch. I also had a fish taco that another person ordered, and it was delicious as well. Cost wise, it was alright. I didn't happen to check what cocktails were running at, but the shrimp tacos were a little pricey in my opinion. I think it was around 5$ per taco, but they were delicious, and it was super fresh. The facilities were super cool. The bar downstairs was nicely done, and open facing the ocean. It seemed pretty clean. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. The real winner, though, was the upstairs. They have a turf-floored room with garage door walls that is a really cool open concept for an upstairs. Super nice establishment with a memorable atmosphere. Overall, Chiringo was one of my favorite places I have been on a beach. I would highly suggest the shrimp tacos, and also want to come back for some night time oceanside drinking! Cindy, Virginia Katie and Reagan were amazing. We had some day drinking and some great conversation. They were full of wit and some of the best bartenders I've ever been around. Absolute Rockstars!!!
