I ordered the smash burger with fries, and both were delicious. The burger was flavorful, and the fries were crispy without being overly greasy. The Outcast grouper was apparently crispy and delicious as well. The red beans and rice appetizer was also a nice little surprise and definitely worth trying. They also offer 'traditional' grill food here such as burgers, etc. We ordered a Shrimp Boil and Grouper Basket. Overall, the food was good. They were out of Calamari for the day, which is a starter they offer. They seemed to be limited on how much grouper they had available but had enough for us to eat. I was honestly appalled by how incredibly wasteful our experience was. Every single item brought to our table came with plastic silverware. We ordered an appetizer--plastic fork and knife inside the basket. Two orders of wings and fries--each came with another set of plastic forks and knives. Then two additional items came out with even more. We never asked for any of it, and there was absolutely no reason to in keep bringing disposable utensils with every single dish. Then came the drinks: Styrofoam cups. Even when we got refills, instead of simply refilling the cups we already had, we were given brand-new Styrofoam cups. It was honestly shocking to sit there and watch the amount of unnecessary single-use plastic and Styrofoam pile up from ONE table during ONE meal. Every time another item came out, my stomach dropped. This is 2026. There is no excuse for a restaurant to operate this wastefully, especially one that is apparently doing well enough to continue opening new locations. Reusable silverware and reusable cups are basic things restaurants have managed to provide for decades. If the company can afford to expand, it can afford to make better choices. read more

Our first trip to Outcast and it won't be the last. If you aren't a "bar person" (we aren't), no worries! The staff here are super welcoming, friendly and attentive and the food was GREAT! We sat on the large outdoor patio (with our dog - big plus for us!) and had the jalapeno poppers (SO good) and the Blackened Bleu Salad (Huge salad, full of strawberries, blueberries, walnuts, blue cheese crumbles - comes with homemade (SO good!) raspberry vinaigrette (a bar & grill that makes their own dressings & sauces?! What?!). The wait staff was extremely nice & attentive (brought our dog a water bowl without us even having to ask!) - we will definitely be back.
