Bar area - ready for Christmas!

Holiday pop up bar. We had a quick festive drink. Service was outstanding and speaking with the manager they took four days to deck the halls in the restaurant and bar area. Very fun place. Tasty butter rum in a Santa mug. I will be back!

We visited The Daytrader a few times while we were in Seaside. We loved the drinks, the food, the ambiance, and the service! I didn't get a photo of our Maui Smash Burger and Spicy Tuna Poke Bowl, but both were delicious. We had several drinks there throughout the week (all good) but our favorites were the Rumpanion and the Margarita Fría! We will definitely be adding this to our "must stop" list for future Seaside trips.

    Thai Seafood Green Curry...so good!!!

We decided to give this place a try on a whim. The stand out part of our meal here was the Thai Seafood Green Curry. Wow was this good! It had a great amount of heat to it, which was balanced with the subtle coconut flavor. We loved the fish and mussels in it, but sadly, the amount of both were very little. The veggies in it were great. The two starters we got were just okay...The Tuna Crunchy Rice and Volcano Shrimp. The tuna dish was decent (oddly sweet), but the shrimp was a total miss. It did not have much flavor outside of fried batter. We likely would not order either again. I got the So Fresh and So Clean cocktail, which was very refreshing. I liked it a lot. My husband got a drink that was a nightly special and said it was just okay. Service was not great either (even while the restaurant was half empty). One particular complaint is that they brought the dishes out too quickly and close together, which made it hard to enjoy each dish we ordered. Overall, the decor was very fun and inviting. The vibes were good!

We are not fans of Seaside restaurants. In general, there are long wait times and overpriced menus. But it was my son's bday and he wanted to go to Seaside for dinner. We stumbled across The Daytrader, were quoted a 35-45 min wait and may have waited around 20 mins. Hostess and waitress were super friendly and helped us w menu options. My little got the kids chicken tenders- and they were kids chicken tenders . We started w the boiled peanuts and they were a hit. The girls got virgin contrails and said they were the best they had tasted (which is good bc that price tag ). Three of us had the burger and hands down, all agreed they were some of the best burgers they've ever eaten. My husband got the Mongolian beef, portion was kinda small for the price, but we loved it and two of us got one of the bowls and I can't remember the name but it's the one w steak- we also loved that. We were sat inside out of the heat so that was nice. Overall we will make the trip to Seasode for their burgers again, but as far as value... I mean for 30A it's typical, but still hurts when ya have a large family. Great job tho, we did seriously love it!

OMG!! So incredible! This place blew me away. The drinks were sublime and the food was even better. The servers were great and really helpful. Amazing island vibes and cool music. Happy hour is from 3-5pm and it picks up around 6. Highly recommend!!!

Food: 8.0/10 -Sowal Sticky Wings (7.5/10): Very rich sesame, garlic, and soy flavor with the perfect sauce to crispiness ratio. -Tuna Crispy Rice (8.5/10): Fresh, eye-opening flavor, and amazing portions. Service: 10/10 -As soon as we seated, water was brought to the table. Our server was persistent in asking how our food was and if we needed refills. Ambiance: 9/10 -Had a range of outdoor and indoor seating. Very cool decorations that match the culture of the food!

Obsessed with their picturesque decor for the holidays! While visiting, we swung by for our daily happy hour specials beverages and select bites. Our favorite was snagging a hot mulled wine to accompany our stroll through the holiday village. The bartender was hospitable sharing other local favorites to support.

Fresh Thai Coconut Water & Piña Colada

This is the best seafood I have ever had in my entire life. It has a Polynesian twist on the food, and everything is extremely flavorful. There are many fun drinks there, and the food portions are very large. The ambiance is amazing with the beautiful pink walls, right off a beach access point and the heart of Seaside.

The Daytrader is in a great location, just outside of Seaside's Central Square. It's the perfect spot to escape the summer heat, cool off in the AC, enjoy a few cold drinks, and grab a quick lunch. The location is definitely prime, but the food fell a little short for us. The smashburger was good, but it lacked the thin, crisp-edged patties you usually expect from a true smashburger. The Spam Musubi was very salty, likely because the rice was seasoned as well. On the plus side, the Dos Pilotos draft was excellent, though unfortunately they ran out after just one glass. The fries were perfectly cooked and the drinks were cold, both a big plus on a hot July day. Service was friendly and efficient, but for a $120 lunch that consisted of a smashburger, kids burger, Spam Masubi two drinks and fries, the food didn't quite meet our expectations. We'd definitely come back but will probably try their happy hour next visit.

We tried the tiki bar for the first time in Seaside and we were very appealed by the drink options. They were all so fun and extremely tasty! Such great service and atmosphere. Very beachy and tropical vibes which we LOVED! The cups they give for certain drinks are very creative! We got a Moscow mule drink that was served in a spam can! We have not dined for food here but it is definitely on our list.

Food is VERY pricey but so is 30A. They offer such unique food and drink ideas. Servers have always been so kind and helpful. Expect to pay quite a bit (we've only been there for brunch) but your tastebuds will be happy with the awesome combinations. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating too which is nice.

By far, my favorite restaurant in 30A! The food here was absolutely delicious! I got to try the smashburger (which you can never go wrong with) and the Spicy Tuna Bowl (huge portion!!!!). The drinks here were unique and tasty too. Definitely recommend trying out this place!

Local Perspective - Good Service, Food Was Just Okay…read more We're locals in the Panama City Beach area and decided to try Flamingo Joe's during the off-season while we were out looking for pizza. We found them online and thought we'd give it a shot and support a local place. The restaurant has a fun, kitschy beach vibe and the staff was friendly. We were seated right away and our waitress was attentive. Service was actually very good and our food came out quickly. When we first walked in, though, there was a strong smoky smell, almost like someone had been smoking in the enclosed patio area. It was also extremely quiet. We were the only customers there at the time, which made the atmosphere feel a little flat. As for the food, it was unfortunately just okay. Two people in our group ordered pizza and both felt like it tasted very similar to frozen pizza. The wings were fine but nothing particularly memorable. I had a burger and fries, which were decent and probably the safest choice of what we ordered. While we were there an entertainer came in and started setting up for music later in the evening, which was actually nice and made us think it might get more lively later on. Overall, the service was friendly and fast, but the food didn't quite live up to what we were hoping for. We're always happy to try local spots, but this probably isn't one we'll be rushing back to. Everyone in our 7-person party enjoyed their apps and entrees. I tried the following: -Peel and eat jumbo shrimp- these royal red shrimp are apparently caught locally (in the gulf) and they are AMAZING. Succulent, flavorful, tender, a little sweet. The only comparable shrimp I remember having were at Penny here in New York and they were smaller and way more expensive. -Spicy tuna dip- also a highlight! The tuna is smoked and the dip has a medium fresh-green-pepper spiciness. -Ceviche Good! This was a special. The base ingredient was shrimp and aside from the citrus, there was some hot sauce drizzled on the top. Also served with tasty avocado. -Bushwacker (frozen; white rum, coffee, Irish cream, chocolate liqueur, float): I wanted to have one of these on the trip! I thought it was tasty and refreshing, tasted mostly chocolatey, and was served in a metal cup, which kept it nice and cold. It was obviously sweet, but not overly sweet.
