I do believe he even saved my life. I paid for it out-of-pocket. I was diagnosed with stage four metastatic breast cancer. He listened carefully to where I indicated pain and he addressed everything directly using a combination of handheld massage gun, dropped table and hands-on direct pressure (for lack of the medical terms) to loosen up and align my spine where it should be. Yes, it's a little painful at first but within just a couple hours later I feel fantastic! Lisa at the front desk is also very friendly and gets you set up with sign-ins and billing very quickly. Good chiropractic care works; I'm now a firm believer in this. I made my first appointment with Dr. Chris Hengesteg this past summer for the numbness in my right hip and down the length of my right leg, which typically occurred with prolonged standing. I can't believe I waited 2 years to seek help. During my consultation, Dr. Chris took down my past and present history and did a few x-rays. Those x-rays gave me insight on my spine that I'd previously never known. I also had issues with my neck, which was the cause of the frequent headaches I was having. Dr. Chris did a few adjustments during my first appointment and having never had any chiropractic work done before, I was a bit apprehensive but Dr. Chris put me at ease by explaining, not only WHAT he was doing, but WHY he was doing it. At home, I realized I felt relief from my symptoms, even though it had only been the first day of adjustments. After several visits though, the numbness in my right leg had pretty much gone away and the headaches had subsided as well.
