I believe everyone should see a good Chiropractor for prevention, maintenance or disease reversal. Quite the statement as I grew up believing Chiropractors were 100% quackery. Then I tried a few. Terrible!! Don't judge a profession from a few bad apples. You take your car in for maintenance, how about your body? You can't buy or lease a new one when it breaks down.(yet) Healthy food and exercise are no longer enough. Unless you're willing to live an average life. You're worth more than that nonsense! Dr. Burdette came recommended from another Chiropractor. The doctors doctor. He never makes you wait in the waiting room, takes Covered California Blue Shield Insurance, has in office GOOD massage therapists, is straightforward, FUNNY, and has a variety of chiropractic techniques in his toolbox in addition to Xrays, cold laser therapy, zero gravity chairs and I'm sure more I have yet to discover. This review is not specifically about chiropractic services but rather about the Zerona Laser Treatments that are offered in this office. This was a significantly large financial investment as well as a large investment of time as I came to the office for eight visits over the span of three weeks. As with any treatment the level of results are not guarantee, however in my case there were NO measurable results at all! In addition I did all of the things I was instructed to do further treatment weeks and experience no subsiquen benefits. i Also did not receive the before and after pictures which I believe was because the after pictures we're actually worse, and the doctor was unable to speak with me regarding the lack of results at the end of treatment. I have not fully vetted the science behind this service however as a scientist by trade, based on my experience, this is not an effective option and I would advice against it. Today I had my first adjustment ever with Dr. Mark. I requested an appointment through their website and was seen the next day, which I feel is important to mention because you are more than likely visiting a chiropractor due to pain! The office is clean and they are operating with all covid precautions, including temperature checks. The staff are both friendly and attentive. I was a little nervous for my first adjustment but Dr. Mark made the adjustment very comfortable. I wasn't sure if I would feel immediate relief but was surprised to sit up from the table with a noticeable difference in the tightness in my right shoulder. I appreciated how he explained things to me in a way that was easy to understand. If you are considering getting an adjustment I think this office is an excellent place. Dr. Mark has a "lets get to work" attitude and you decide how you'd like to move forward based on how you feel. Massage review only: I got a massage from one of the practitioners who work here and have to say the first patient massage deal is sweet! It's 75% off regular price which is only $21.25 for 1 hour massage. Anyhow, I was greeted by the receptionist, signed some questionnaire and met the chiropractor at the clinic to go over the questionnaire. He was really nice about it and told the masseuse what we have discussed. The massage itself was less than mediocre- however... I told her to go "deeper" several times but she gently brushed me with lotion. It just didn't do it for me. Maybe I need to try a different masseuse. Community Chiropractic Center does have a pretty affordable "Rub Club" for those who are in need for regular massages. Only ~$50 for two 1/2 hour massages every month with 6 month commitment. Not too bad. I would suggest that you try the first time massage deal before signing up for the Rub Club. read more

He is a genuine, caring person and absolutely always has your health and best interest in mind. Over the years, he has expanded his successful practice to now include massage as well. ~UPDATE~ Dr. Mark called me the next day to apologize for how the process happened and mailed me a check with a full refund. I appreciate his professionalism and the care I received was great, I just would have liked more clear communication regarding insurance and payment. I know they took note and I'm confident they made changes. If my insurance was in network with this office, I definitely would have continued treatment with them!!! **NOT IN NETWORK!!!!!** Completely not up front about cost and how insurance is handled. I was required to pay $145 for my first visit, I was having major neck and back pain and needed to be seen. I have insurance that I know covers chiropractic, so as their paperwork states, I would receive a refund... nope, they are out of network and I lost the entire $145 and they wanted me to pay $45 for each visit thereafter... my copay should be $15... while I understand that I could have double checked to confirm if they were in network, they are the professionals that deal with these matters everyday and they should have communicated to me verbally and in writing what would happen if they were out of network. Also, my medical card clearly states who my coverage is through. They took a copy of it at my first visit and never said anything to me about being out of network or what it would mean cost wise. If that was clearly communicated I would not have seen the doctor at all. I was in major pain at my first visit and it's difficult for anyone to completely understand any paperwork when in pain.
