The salon is adorable as the owner as the owner's puppy! Coco needed a wash, cut and all the fixings, so called Ashley and she had an appt. set up for us. Ashley and new young lady, Madison who I met are the best ever ladies that take great care of my bichon frise /poodle rescue from 1.5years old and now is 11 years young. I believe Coco is mostly poodle and very clever. She has an innocent soul. Perhaps old soul that we had life together. Who knows, but Coco is my delightful fur babe! I would recommend Ashley and Megan in a flash. The service is A++ above and beyond. Coco was super clean, gorgeous / beautiful cut, as Coco really needed. Nails and everything else done topnotch. I wasn't sure how she would do since she is older and pretty small (chi), but seeing the pics Boozy Bark posted on fb/insta gave me such peace of mind that she was in great hands. She will be going regularly (2 days/wk) as they offer a reasonably-priced 10-day package. The people who work here take the health of the dogs very seriously which I appreciate. I was nervous and unsure of what to expect but the staff were all extremely welcoming and nice, and informed me of everything they were doing and confirmed with me before doing any tests. My only dissatisfaction is upon informing me my cat has gingivitis, the only solution they offered was a $1400 surgical procedure. I was not informed of any alternative treatments, or any measures I can take that could help my cat other than an major surgery. Other than that, they were all amazing and kind. Would recommend and will be going back!! :)

I got to chatting with Shai about my dog's horrid shedding and bad experiences we have had with past groomers. She suggested I get an appointment with her so she could take care of it for us. I gave it a try. Gruene Gables is so clean and the staff is friendly. Shai came out to see what I wanted done with Max and took him back. It was nice for Max to see a familiar face, so that eased some of his anxiety about "dog places". A few hours later, Max came out looking like a new boy! I swear he was so clean he sparkled a little. Shai went above and beyond my husband and I's expectations! He has never looked, felt or smelled so good before (and none of that nasty perfume spray)! He even had a confident strut to his walk. I can tell he feels better and wasn't under much stress due to Shai and Liz being there, which made me happy. The price was very reasonable and we will definitely be back!! These gals are the best!

During that call they will try to sell you a "play package", as an upgrade. They do not tell you on the phone, or on their website, nor do they mention it in their reservation email, that there is a mandatory Bronze "play" package added on for an additional $15. I declined any such services, because my dog was going to be there for less than 24 hours. Nevertheless, they charged me $30 extra. Furthermore, the "playtime" notes claimed that they played fetch with her. My dog does not play fetch. She is very possessive about the ball, so if you manage to get possession of it and throw it, she will gladly chase it to get it back, but she will not voluntarily give it back. I strongly doubt they played with her at all.
