    1/4 chicken
    Rob K.

I was on the fence about my rating, but the more I've thought about it I think two stars is where I need to land. My wife had said something about Inlet Prohibition a summer or two ago. We were on the fence about where to eat and I brought up Inlet. We arrived around 5:00 on a Wednesday. There were only a handful of tables filled. We had the option of inside or outside, it was very humid, with no breeze so we opted for inside. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive (1 star). We started looking at the menu and it was completely different than what was posted online (completely different appetizers, entrees, and prices-in some instances $3.00 or more expensive). We asked about a drink menu and were told to go to the website (insert eye roll). I had a rum runner and my wife had a margarita. She then ordered the scallops, and I had the 1/4 chicken with rice. Food came out quickly and was tasty (2nd star). Portions were very small with high prices. 1 small piece of chicken with some rice (no salad, hush puppies or bread) was $19.00. My wife's scallops were also expensive. Look at the picture and tell me that's a $19.00 meal. Overall, I'd never return to Inlet Prohibition Company. I needed to stop at a different place to eat two hours later because I was still hungry. I understand needing to make money but between a completely different menu online vs in-person, prices, and portions, I'm not sure how this place stays open. It certainly isn't on repeat visits.

Smash burger was ok, my friend loved it, so maybe just not to my taste. Service (Liam) and hostess (Devyn) were very pleasant and attentive. Ambiance was 5 stars overlooking the marsh, walking in their semi private deck over the marsh. I liked it because it was not connected to the main marsh walk so you didn't have as many people walking by. I will be back again.

They have sangria - white and red. After enjoying out cocktails for awhile, (port only bar open) we asked the bartender what they did and why it was closed. A new roof and something else. Time to order dinner. The lobster grilled cheese for me and the shepherd 's pie for him. Mine came with tomato soup and fries. (Or you can pick coleslaw). We both had a little left over to take home. If you see me there, stop by and say hello.

This is a bar and drink review. I did not have any food. I asked the bartender what is your favorite bourbon drink? His reply was... After 28 years behind the bar, I still have not acquired a taste for bourbon. I do not like it. What is your go to bourbon drink? I said I'll have an old-fashioned with makers. It was the worst old fashioned ever. Crappy ice. Full orange slice. Awful taste. Maybe change the name of this place or get the appropriate ingredients and glassware for drinks.

Really nice spot with great views. Outside seating right up against the water which was nice, indoor/outdoor space perfect for enjoying while staying out of the wind for the most part. Mac n cheese was good, lobster grilled cheese was really good with great portion size (lobster not too too fresh but still good). Service was great, pricing was great, $8 cocktails!

Great scallop appetizer! Grouper bites were excellent too. We enjoyed the collard greens. Jim was a very attentive bartender. We will be back!

Just what we hoped for. Good food, good service, live music, patio setting and dog friendly! Samantha, our waitress, knows the menu and was very helpful in helping with our dining selections. She said we selected well on the Lobster & Shrimp Bombs (akin to Crab Rangoon except huge & with Lobster & Shrimp. We went with her dinner favorite of the Blackened Mahi Mahi. She was right - the choices were excellent. We had a nice breeze for our meal and enjoyable music to listen to. We would come back.

We went to 7 restaurants the week we were here and let's just say, last night, we visited here and hands down the best food we had. The service was great as well. The interior was from an old timey Murrells inlet past. We had the pretzel board: the pretzel, the pimento cheese, the pork belly- amazing! We then got the lobster mac and cheese, side of garlic green beans, the lobster grilled cheese, and fish and chips. He brought the malt vinegar for the perfect fries and we were happy! We will be back!

10/10 recommend this place, and I will be back again! A friend recommended we try this place. My aunt and I both had the scallops, they melted in our mouths! The fried pickles were delicious! I've never had so much flavor in a batter in my life! The bartender was so amazing with us and recommended something we would like perfectly! Frothy Bear was his top recommendation and he did not steer us wrong at all! The place is so relaxed and comfortable it feels like any hometown bar, and I cannot wait to make this my hometown bar.

This place was great our server Melissa was very nice and the food was great and the view

Unfortunately this was a miss for us today. Starting with the Spicy Creek-a-Rita - this did not taste like fresh lime (as stated on the menu). The frozen strawberry Daiquiri was just okay. Next we had the lobster bombs. I definitely did not like them but my husband ate them. He said they just had too much cheese. I had the lobster roll and coleslaw. Neither were good. My husband had the French dip and French fries. Both of those were good. Service was very slow!!! I think it would be helpful to give servers assigned sections vs rotating as people come in. Drinks sat on the bar longer than they should have. I was excited for this place but disappointed in the service and food. Plus side - they are dog friendly

Delicious food and great atmosphere. Our server was kind and attentive. Portions are small for the price.

Overall, it ended up being one of those meals that was perfectly fine--nothing bad, but nothing that really wowed us either. We started with the Brussel Sprouts, which were definitely the highlight. Nicely cooked, flavorful, and a great way to kick things off. We shared a Margherita pizza that was just okay--good enough, but a little forgettable compared to other spots around town. The Sicily salad was next, and if you're a salad person, you'll probably enjoy this one. It was fresh, well balanced, and one of the more satisfying dishes we tried. We also ordered the Drunk Cutlet sandwich. The flavors were there, but the cutlet itself was super thin, so it felt a little underwhelming for the size of the bread. The short rib bolognese was solid--comforting and hearty, though not something I'd rush back specifically for. All in all, Fireside is a decent neighborhood spot for a quick, easy meal. It didn't blow us away, but it's a reliable option when you want a casual bite without much fuss.

We came in on a Friday around 5:45pm and things were already pretty busy. We grabbed 2 seats at the beautiful bar and were immediately greeted by the staff. They have Happy Hour Monday - Saturday from 4-6 so we just made it. The charcuterie inside the repurposed wine bottle is such a fun idea. The meats and cheeses and nuts and crackers were delicious. The serving was quite large for a happy hour app. We started with glasses of prosecco and a chilled red which were on the happy hour menu as well. Melissa was behind the bar and she is AMAZING! Once happy hour was over and we learned there was live music from 7-9 we pretty much decided we were staying all night. Melissa made sure we never felt rushed. Honestly it felt like sitting in a cafe in Europe where enjoying a bottle of wine with friends is supposed to take time and never be quick. She helped us pick a bottle of sparkling rosé and it was very very good. And the price point was so reasonable. They have an extensive wine list and seriously the prices range from $23-$100+ so there's something for everyone. Once the music started we ordered the Sopressata and hot honey flat bread. It was great to share and the flavor was wonderful. It took a little while to come out of the kitchen, but Melissa made sure to check in and let us know. The space itself is so fun. There's a huge bar and a couch with comfortable chairs and tables along the wall. They also offer a small number of patio seats right outside. It got really crowded and reservations were almost a must. Another side note, the bathrooms are so nice. They're clean and well decorated and stocked with everything you could need from feminine products, to mouthwash and more. This spot is seriously a must visit! And I really appreciate their social media and website being up to date with all the specials and events going on. They have live music several nights per week and they also do classes like paint and sip nights. I cannot wait to go back!

They had a few different bars that you could order at, with the main one being inside, another little hut outside, and a cash bar next to that. They also had a pretty cool live band, with a viewing patio right in front of the stage. In regards to my visit to Hot Fish, I'd say I was most impressed with the bartenders at the establishment, who did a great job under pressure. Even though the place was packed, and especially the bar area, they did a great job of remaining calm, and even got our drinks out in a relatively quick period of time. They also made some awesome blue Gatorade shots, which were some of the best shots I've ever had! I didn't necessarily love that there were cops standing guard at the entrance, but the bar's own security staff and bouncers were really nice, which isn't something you see at every one of these places. The only downsides to the Hot Fish Club were that many of the plastic chairs in the outside area were broken and cracked, making it kind of hard to sit a large-sized group like ours (they had a lot of wooden tables, but they were all taken), and that the restroom situation was awful. According to the girls in our group, the actual, physical restrooms were disgusting, forcing them to use the giant line of porta potties. This isn't a huge deal for guys, but it was a little uncomfortable for the ladies. Other than that, Hot Fish was great, and I'd highly recommend stopping by!
