Visited Chloez on a nice Saturday afternoon about one. The restaurant was filled but the two of us were seated immediately. Our waitress, Emily, provided awesome service. We ordered fried mushrooms, turkey chili, and a Bleu Burger with fries. At least half of the mushrooms were still cold on the inside. The iced tea had a silky weird taste to it like it had been kept in the tea canister too long. The fries were seasoned well but soft and chewy vs. having the crispy crunchy texture we prefer. The bleu cheese dressing on the burger was sweeter than you'd expect bleu cheese to be but it was cooked as ordered and had a fresh bun, tomatoes, and onions. The turkey chili has corn in it and we opted to add cheese and onions for an extra $.50 splurge ... it was good! Chloez is a nice little restaurant and probably would be accommodating to picky eaters. Having not been there before, I didn't know what to expect. We may go back, but with many better options in the area, it'll probably be a while. read more

This restaurant is a cute mom and pop restaurant on the outskirts of Fairfax! In search of a new breakfast spot, we came upon Chloez cafe - it was such a cute little cafe. The theme color was like a teal blue color and they had cute touches of that everywhere. I also appreciated the cheery holiday decorations. There was a community style bar for anyone who wanted to sit up there with an open kitchen. I enjoyed the aesthetics of the cafe. The food was good, though basic. We got a breakfast burrito, that comes with home fries for only $9! And we also got the two eggs and French toast that also comes with fries and a bowl of fruit. Along w an extra side and some tea, our bill was less than $25 for 2 people. The French toast was fluffy and sweet, and we enjoyed the burrito too. You get a salsa on the side and plenty of home fries to eat with the burrito. I would recommend this place to anyone! When I return, I want to try the avocado toast - seems like a fan favorite! read more

This beach themed cafe is clean and pleasant with attentive and friendly wait staff. The breakfast fare is made fresh and the presentation is nice. The coffee was well made and the potatoes were crispy on the outside and creamy inside. We enjoyed our dishes but do want to note a few areas for improvement: food is a little under seasoned, waffles were not crispy, and you're provided with pancake syrup vs maple syrup. My brother has seen this place whenever he goes to the gym and we decided to try it with our sister. Overall the food was good, we had a reservation at 10:30 but had to wait a little bit to be seated since the table was not cleared yet, it wasn't too long so all good. The place was definitely busy but our waiter was good about checking in. I had seen beignets on the board at the host's stand so we ordered some to share. They were really good, they were different from beignets that I've had before other places but I enjoyed them. I got a combo of french toast + eggs, the french toast was enjoyable. The eggs and home fries were little under-seasoned. The food came out super fast and was enjoyable. The portions were bigger than I thought but overall we all enjoyed our meals. read more

We went for a first visit for a late lunch. The menu is varied and I got the New Yorker and my wife ordered the Reuben. Both sandwiches were delicious. The chips were homemade and hot. My wife said she would have like more sauerkraut but she enjoyed her sandwich a lot. We got a side order of sweet potato fries. Best I've had in years. We will definitely go back. When looking for places to eat brunch, Chloez Cafe popped up and I agreed to eat here with a couple friends. Upon arrival, staff was quick and ready to seat. The seat planning was not ideal as we were 3 people sitting at a table for 5. This later became an apparent issue when bigger parties started to trickle in for brunch and we were rushed out to have them sit where we were. The staff got a bit overwhelmed when it got towards noon as more and more people started to come in. They were getting unresponsive to a point where my party and I would ask for a to go container from 4 different people a couple times. The food was alright. Went to get some food with my friends after hanging out with them. We are all about trying to support small businesses in the area, especially since covid. I had the Broccoli and bacon burrito which was so good. Definitely would go again despite the mood of the servers being down. Stopped in for brunch. Ambiance is nice - open space, attractive tables and set up. Our waiter though seemed unattentive and had to signal for him when we were ready to order even though I made eye contact with him several times. He said he thought we would signal when we were ready. Food looks like what I see online menu pictures of. Pricing for the amount doesn't seem comparable. Chloez needs to conduct a better training program for new staff members. My waiter told me I was getting french fries with my omelet. The plate arrived with homefries. In previous experiences with breakfast items, the order contained homefries and toast. Today, my server said I would have choose between those two or pay extra. They were both inedible, im not sure if the discoloration was due to being spoiled or just from being wet. I got a greek burger and dont remember if they included the tzatziki sauce. The gyro meat did not taste good. Beef patty itself tasted standard. I had to eat the gyro meat and patty without the bun. For the french fries there is an upcharge, yet they still aren't edible. Went here with my friends from the Netherlands who are brutal when it comes food and they loved it! I like going here myself more than any other place that does breakfast because they cook everything to perfection and the staff is on point - i believe the owner even checks in with the guests which is a big plus in my book. Quite disappointing given how highly I anticipated the food here. The avocado toast: The avocado was a thin smear and overly salted. The poached eggs drenched the toast because there was almost no avocado. I was surprised at how lackluster an avocado toast could be. Had to throw it out. The super club hoagie: The bread was extremely dry. Too much ham with almost no red onions and banana peppers. The chips it came with were stale (as if it had been sitting out for an entire day). She also matches your energy. She also takes her job seriously & I love to see that. The place is so cute and reminded us of the beach. The Belgian waffles were so soft and fluffy. They didn't have anymore high chairs left but our toddler sat fine in the spacious teak chairs. We met Chloe today! :) Decided to visit this location based off the good reviews and the distance between friends meeting up. I was able to make a quick reservation through their website a couple days ago for an afternoon slot on Saturday. We were warmly greeted and sat down immediately upon arrival. The staff were all nice and professional. Even the owner came by a couple times to chat! The menu was very versatile with many options. No kids menu but basically made what I wanted for my toddler. Some of us had breakfast and others lunch - everything was delicious! We tried their special beignets which were amazinggggg! This is a lovely family restaurant. The waitstaff are mostly high school or college-aged kids. I have eaten here multiple times and only had a problem once (I was seated by the host and it took 10+ min before the waiter realized I was there). Otherwise, the service is great. My family had a great time today, returning to Chloez Cafe, in our neighborhood. We were greeted with a hello and smile from the hostess, server and the bussers. We had to wait a little while, but worth the wait, as this place is very popular on the weekend. The pancakes were nice and fluffy and perfect. The home fries were great, I will have to try and make it at home. My wife had a cappuccino with a very pretty purple flower, just had to take a picture. Service was excellent, there are lots of staff members, so we never had to wait very long. Nice to see all on the younger workers hustling and working hard. Don't let the location fool you-yes, it's in a strip mall BUT, the food is fresh and relatively healthy, the service is super friendly, and the atmosphere brings you right back to those good ole' days when my family would vacation on Sanibel Island-very beachy! It was around 9:30am when we arrived and there was no wait. Shortly after we were seated, the wait list began. As for breakfast beverages, they have mimosas, no bloody Marys, but good coffee. Breakfast is served anytime, although the lunch menu of salads and sandwiches looks tempting for a return visit. There is no specific kids menu; however the 2 Belgian waffles (which are mini) was perfect for my toddler son. I enjoyed the avocado toast. It was very no frills, unlike some avocado toast I've had, but with a little pepper, the taste became less bland. There was a significant amount of avocado on the toast and each toast had a perfectly poached egg on top. Potatoes (home fries) were served along the side. These were fresh-cut and well-seasoned.....very tasty! My SO had the Greek Omelette which had gyro meat, feta, spinach, tomatoes, and tzatziki. It was huge!
