This is a great option for breakfast, lunch or even dinner if at Inova Fairfax. Service here seemed good and quick during my visit and the restaurant is well stocked of both food and condiments for your sandwich. Soup and a salad bar are also available, and there are even small portions of wedge fries for sale. Employees get a discount (with their badge). There is seating just outside of the cafe.

The Park Avenue Cafe is located in Fairfax Hospital. It's a decent place to to grab breakfast or a sandwich, coffee, bottled water, cold beverages, snacks, and whatnot. I snuck in here for a bit for a Bacon, egg, and cheese on a Croissant and a bottle of water. Breakfast sandwich was hot, plenty of bacon. Needed a bit more cheese though. There is a ton of seating just outside the Cafe. The link to the Park City Cafe on the Inova Fairfax Hospital site is to long to post on the business listing - so here it is: http://www.inova.org/patient-and-visitor-information/facilities/inova-fairfax-hospital/plan-your-visit/meals-and-snacks.jsp/ Would come in here any time I need to spend time in Fairfax Hospital.

It's just cafeteria food. Overpriced for what it is. People like their spicy noodles and ham and cheese if you have to eat there.

The Asian cashier is unbelievably rude and nasty! I won't be returning again b/c of her.

Nothing super special about them, but they were good. I went on the weekend, so parking was bit hard, but eventually found one. They were busy inside but the line moved quickly and the meals were delivered quickly as well. The place seems like a great spot to catch up with friends or get some work done.

It can be loud in there depending on how busy they are, but if you use headphones, you should be fine. I've seen plenty of people do work in there and have no problem concentrating. They have an extensive menu that includes both hot and cold drinks and snacks that include pastries and sandwiches. Even though they do offer pastries, keep in mind that they do have limited quantities for the day. They might run out of something if you're dropping by later in the day. I've had their hand-shaken iced tea and brownies. The hand-shaken iced tea was refreshing, and the brownie was just the way I liked it: chewy and just sweet enough without being too sweet. Overall, I had a good experience and would not hesitate to come back again.

The storefront itself is cute and there's a fair amount of seating. I will say the parking was kind of weird, It's not a super obvious place and we ended up driving right by it. Parked a couple blocks down and walked over, but otherwise you should be able to find a spot no problem. The baristas were super friendly and patient with us while we looked over the menu. My friend got the (Real!) strawberry match and I got the banana cream matcha. Both were super delicious! The strawberry did taste very fresh and real, and the banana was the perfect sweet treat to satisfy my craving. Overall, I will definitely be back and would recommend to anybody in the area.

I've been looking for a strawberry matcha that has a creamy rich texture, with the perfect ratio of strawberry and matcha. I do appreciate the fact that they use real strawberry puree, but it didn't taste balanced to me. My husband got the mocha forest matcha, it was alright. I wasn't a huge fan of either drinks. I also felt the matcha wasn't ceremonial grade. It had that weird Starbucks fishy taste to it. We ordered breakfast as well- the breakfast indeed tasted homemade but not the kind that wowed me. More like okay wonder bread and some protein. Nothing that stood out or tasted unique. I left wishing I had spent the money elsewhere. Overall, I don't live close to this location so I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but if invited I wouldn't be opposed. It's a tiny spot with few seats and a shared small parking lot. It's better for to go orders. Casual ambiance.
