Second time trying their Fairfax coffee shop .Great variety. Good options. We ordered cappuccino and Pistachio latte. Only complain I didn't find any Pistachio flavor nor did they fill the rim with crushed Pistachio like other cafe's. Plus our coffee was room temperature not hot enough . We ordered the Halumi sandwich with egg , Spinach and sausage. This sandwich was very good . This place is nice they serve food in glassware which is good .

It's pretty solid. The coffee is good and lots of options! Service is always friendly. Desserts have been hot or miss for me. The passion fruit dessert is lovely but I had a chocolate dessert we didn't love. The restaurant is cute and clean. The parking lot is awful... be prepared!

I love Tatte! i've been to this location twice now, and I am very happy with their consistent service and consistent quality of items. I find that most Tatte's are very consistent across the board, but it's always great to see it firsthand especially since this location is so close to me. highly recommend getting the Appleberry hot tea. It is perfect for the non-coffee drinkers for the winter! this location is deceivingly large. It looks smaller on the outside, but it can seat a whole lot of people with chair, options, stool options, bar options, and even outdoor options! Parking is super easy and it's close to a bunch of other food places as well, so you can easily pop in for a quick pastry and leave.

Stopped by the new Tatte Bakery location in Fairfax, Virginia and really enjoyed it. The space is nice, bright, and cute with a great vibe--clean, airy, and inviting. Customer service was friendly and welcoming. I ordered a chocolate croissant, and it was good--flaky, buttery, and hit the spot. Overall, a great experience and a lovely addition to the area. I'd definitely come back.

Service was quick and the food presentation looked great. The server even game me advice on how to hold everything because my hands were full. The outside are is nice for evening sunsets, and great ambiance

Tall Dirty Chai Latte with oat milk - $9

Came here to get a coffee and to get some studying done. This is a new establishment so the person cashiering was new with entering coffee items. Supervisor nearby was quick to help. Pros: -Welcoming environment. -Plenty of seating, tall ceilings, lots of natural light, well lit. -Wifi connection was easy and works well. - I like the color scheme and decor. White tiles and natural wood colors. Open and airy atmosphere. -The Barista was very polite, upbeat and made a perfect Dirty Chai. -The brunch menu looks appealing. There are some middle eastern/mediterranean items that caught my attention. Cons: -The floors were not clean and needed to be swept and mopped. There were tons of crumbs and pieces of food on the floor and underneath the benches. -My Dirty Chai Latte was $9, overpriced in my opinion. I enjoyed the atmosphere, so I plan to come here maybe like once per month as a treat and have a coffee, tea, dessert or brunch.

We were craving a snack so we went to try the new location in Fairfax! - Iced Latte - Iced Chai Latte - Mixed Berry Fruit Box Although the taste of the regular iced latte was not for me, I loved the flavor of the iced chai latte. We chose the mixed berry fruit box because it appeared appetizing on display, but the crust was hard and difficult to cut with a knife. Otherwise, the fruits and filling were good. It was not clear if we were supposed to clean up after ourselves on our first visit. We saw some people leave with their leftovers and some left their plates on the table so we asked a server who didn't give a clear answer either, which was weird.

I'm a fan. Here's the short of it: + LARGE open space with outdoor dining available + beautiful interior + full breakfast menu + lamb hash + honey halva latte + cute large latte cups for dining in - gets very busy so line can be long - paper based punch card used for rewards Notes: I didn't try them but the baked goods looked amazing. You'll need to bus your own table

Beautiful cafe, but with some hit-or-miss pastries. I really liked their almond and pistachio croissants. They were perfectly buttery and the fillings were delicious. The sour cherry cheese danish was just ok - it was quite dry and akin to a Costco danish. The worst thing I tried was the mixed berry fruit box. It was terrible and gave me a stomach ache. The cookie shell was hard and kept falling apart. It had a pretty stale texture, too. The cream filling was tasted pretty good, but the whole dessert was so hard to eat that everything was off-putting. I liked the kind service, and I am interested in tryinf their other menu items. I do recommend Tatte, but only for certain things!

Great bakery and a consistent brunch or breakfast spot. This should be on your rotation for coffee outings. The location is near the interstate allowing people from nearby to get to you quick. One of the smaller locations for seating, when compared to the Tatte in Alexandria. The all tile design does get a little loud for sound reverberations so he ready for that on a busy weekend. Their shakshuka, halloumi breakfasts sandwich are worth it. I'm sure you'll find something that catches your interest. A good add for the near downtown Fairfax.

SO ecstatic that a Tatte opened up in my neighborhood & I don't have to venture far anymore! Stopped by to grab lunch to-go & ordered their braised short rib grilled cheese sandwich & a sparkling matcha lemonade. The sandwich was perfection. Perfectly toasted, buttery bread, generous amounts of meat, & had a nice balance of subtle sweetness/tartness from the beet relish. Matcha lemonade is not too sweet with a good matcha flavor. My only complaint is that after I ordered, I wasn't directed to where I should pick up my order. There are 3 separate counters...one to order, a bar counter where drinks are serviced, then the back kitchen counter where food comes out. Would be nice to direct customers on where to pick up if not dining in. The manager was quick to step in & grab my order. Also offered a pastry on the house for the confusion. He was so kind & had the biggest infectious smile the whole time as he was helping customers. Great customer service & great food. Will definitely be back!

First visit to this new location of the Tatte chain. Like all of the other locations, they have a large, open and inviting space (although somewhat loud). They also have a good number of tables outside. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you when it is ready. They have some slick numbered tags/tents, which allow them to know exactly where you are sitting, so they can bring your order right to you without having to search around. We had three items and a drink: Almond croissant: really good Blueberry olive oil muffin: good, but other bakeries have better muffins Croissant egg sandwich: good Pumpkin oat milk tahini latte: good, but has some strong flavor undertones Tatte is a nice addition to the local coffee and bakery options.

My husband and I were thrilled to visit Tatte, especially after hearing so many wonderful things about their baked goods and brunch items. There were some unique items on their menu piqued my interest even more. We arrived on the morning of Labor Day weekend at around 9:30am. The place was already busy with customers, but we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it felt inside. There was plenty of seating, and the displays of baked goods immediately caught our attention. The staff was incredibly friendly and engaging. The atmosphere and the team were so welcoming. I enjoyed a simple brewed coffee, which paired perfectly with the baked treats. I'm really excited to have found a place where I can enjoy my lazy weekend mornings. Looking forward to returning soon!

We also picked up a couple of muffins along with an iced tea and coffee. One thing that really stood out was the huge selection of desserts, danishes, cookies, teas, coffees, and other drinks. There was plenty of indoor seating plus a few outdoor tables, so it never felt cramped. The only disappointment was that there were no free refills on the iced tea, which is what kept this from being a five-star visit for me. On the plus side, we signed up for the loyalty program and were pleasantly surprised to earn a free pastry from just this visit. Since we don't live in the area and probably won't be back anytime soon, that was a nice unexpected bonus. Overall, it's a solid spot with friendly service, great desserts, and plenty of seating.

I saw a croissant on display, but there was no label or sign saying what it contained. I asked for it, and the employee mentioned something, but I didn't clearly hear or understand that it contained ham. After taking my first bite, I realized it had ham inside. As a Muslim, I don't eat pork for religious reasons, and this was extremely upsetting. I felt sick and ended up vomiting afterward. I asked if I could exchange it for a cookie since I had only taken one bite, but I was told I would have to pay for another item because I had already bitten into the croissant. My biggest concern is that the pastry wasn't labeled. In an area with people from many different cultures and religions, it's important to clearly identify items that contain pork. Many bakeries and coffee shops already do this, and it helps customers make informed choices. I left the croissant on the counter and walked out feeling very disappointed. Sadly, because of this experience, I don't plan to return to this location. I hope they improve their labeling so this doesn't happen to someone else.

Mango + matcha is an amazing flavor combination and I was a big fan. Unfortunately the dot cake was kind of a bummer. It looked really nice but all the sprinkles disintegrated as soon as we put our fork in and it had way too much cream cheese frosting. My favorite was the bon bon ice creams. $24 for a little pint that you can bring home.
