I usually love this spot. But ran into an issue with 10 Karen's who were very rude and inconsiderate towards my friend and I-- which ruined the experience for me. Nothing against the establishment though. (Just the reason for one less star) Just wished they were mindful of others spaces and didn't put their purses on our belongings in a shared table space. Be kind!! -- The bakery! Ah! I loved their GIANT chocolate croissant wow it was like 4x the normal size. Their tea refreshers are AMAZING! I've been previously let down by some coffees but wow the tea! Amazing!

Update 8/2026: The coffee is incredibly weak and my latte was TOO sweet despite asking for it to be half sweet. The cashier said all their syrups are made in-house, but there's store bought syrups in the barista area. It's unlikely that I'll get coffee from here again.

We came here with a bunch of friends to hang out and this place is perfect for a small group! I had the pistachio latte and it was sublime! It also looked very aesthetic!

I probably come here way more than I need to. I moved from Boston and loved Tatte there and was so happy when they opened the ffx location It's really busy but if you need a work from home space with good food I cant recommend the avocado sandwich enough Coffee isnt great but they have other options haha

Tatte Bakery & Cafe is such a lowkey, cute spot to study or get some work done. I've been a few times now, and their pastries are always fresh and worth it. The iced white peach & mint cooler is amazing, especially with the warmer weather coming up. I've also tried their Earl Grey tea and Iced Matcha, which were both decent. The staff are consistently attentive and welcoming - they're quick to help, patient when you're deciding, and just create a really comfortable, easygoing atmosphere overall. Definitely a go-to if you want a calm, cozy vibe.

Second time trying their Fairfax coffee shop .Great variety. Good options. We ordered cappuccino and Pistachio latte. Only complain I didn't find any Pistachio flavor nor did they fill the rim with crushed Pistachio like other cafe's. Plus our coffee was room temperature not hot enough . We ordered the Halumi sandwich with egg , Spinach and sausage. This sandwich was very good . This place is nice they serve food in glassware which is good .

It's pretty solid. The coffee is good and lots of options! Service is always friendly. Desserts have been hot or miss for me. The passion fruit dessert is lovely but I had a chocolate dessert we didn't love. The restaurant is cute and clean. The parking lot is awful... be prepared!

I love Tatte! i've been to this location twice now, and I am very happy with their consistent service and consistent quality of items. I find that most Tatte's are very consistent across the board, but it's always great to see it firsthand especially since this location is so close to me. highly recommend getting the Appleberry hot tea. It is perfect for the non-coffee drinkers for the winter! this location is deceivingly large. It looks smaller on the outside, but it can seat a whole lot of people with chair, options, stool options, bar options, and even outdoor options! Parking is super easy and it's close to a bunch of other food places as well, so you can easily pop in for a quick pastry and leave.

Stopped by the new Tatte Bakery location in Fairfax, Virginia and really enjoyed it. The space is nice, bright, and cute with a great vibe--clean, airy, and inviting. Customer service was friendly and welcoming. I ordered a chocolate croissant, and it was good--flaky, buttery, and hit the spot. Overall, a great experience and a lovely addition to the area. I'd definitely come back.

Service was quick and the food presentation looked great. The server even game me advice on how to hold everything because my hands were full. The outside are is nice for evening sunsets, and great ambiance

Tall Dirty Chai Latte with oat milk - $9

Came here to get a coffee and to get some studying done. This is a new establishment so the person cashiering was new with entering coffee items. Supervisor nearby was quick to help. Pros: -Welcoming environment. -Plenty of seating, tall ceilings, lots of natural light, well lit. -Wifi connection was easy and works well. - I like the color scheme and decor. White tiles and natural wood colors. Open and airy atmosphere. -The Barista was very polite, upbeat and made a perfect Dirty Chai. -The brunch menu looks appealing. There are some middle eastern/mediterranean items that caught my attention. Cons: -The floors were not clean and needed to be swept and mopped. There were tons of crumbs and pieces of food on the floor and underneath the benches. -My Dirty Chai Latte was $9, overpriced in my opinion. I enjoyed the atmosphere, so I plan to come here maybe like once per month as a treat and have a coffee, tea, dessert or brunch.

Iced Latte + Iced Chai Latte + Mixed Berry Fruit Box

We were craving a snack so we went to try the new location in Fairfax! - Iced Latte - Iced Chai Latte - Mixed Berry Fruit Box Although the taste of the regular iced latte was not for me, I loved the flavor of the iced chai latte. We chose the mixed berry fruit box because it appeared appetizing on display, but the crust was hard and difficult to cut with a knife. Otherwise, the fruits and filling were good. It was not clear if we were supposed to clean up after ourselves on our first visit. We saw some people leave with their leftovers and some left their plates on the table so we asked a server who didn't give a clear answer either, which was weird.

Beautiful cafe, but with some hit-or-miss pastries. I really liked their almond and pistachio croissants. They were perfectly buttery and the fillings were delicious. The sour cherry cheese danish was just ok - it was quite dry and akin to a Costco danish. The worst thing I tried was the mixed berry fruit box. It was terrible and gave me a stomach ache. The cookie shell was hard and kept falling apart. It had a pretty stale texture, too. The cream filling was tasted pretty good, but the whole dessert was so hard to eat that everything was off-putting. I liked the kind service, and I am interested in tryinf their other menu items. I do recommend Tatte, but only for certain things!

I like the new menu and see a lot of things that I would enjoy. - Prosciutto Fig Farm Bread - I really liked this. Two long slices of bread sliced into pieces with a slice of prosciutto over mascarpone cheese and balsamic glaze. The bread was soft which I liked. - Hot Crab & Artichoke Dip - nice crab and artichoke taste with plenty of grilled ciabetta bread. - Butternut Squash & Mascarpone Ravioli with sage brown butter - really nice if you like butternut squash, slightly sweet. It wasn't the best I have had but it was very good. - Meatloaf - it came with mashed potatoes and carrots and looked like a big, hearty portion Llie was our server. She was truly outstanding - the best we have had at Founding Fathers! She had a sweet smile, very positive, warm, helpful, and quick to respond to the myriad of requests for ice, lemons, salt and pepper, another appetizer. For my birthday, she brought a donut with whipped cream with Happy Birthday stenciled in confectioner sugar on a wooden cutting board. Very nice! Also, I appreciated the hostess today who needed to get more validation parking tickets. I was seated by someone else, and the hostess walked to the very back of the restaurant to find me and give me the two that I had requested. The parking garage has gotten more confusing since I was there last. There are two Founding Fathers parking spaces to the immediate left when you enter with the brown strip on the floor. Maybe there is more, but those are the two I noticed. The rest seem to be reserved with a yellow strip for other companies. I had to go up to the 2nd floor to find a space. You don't take a ticket when you enter. There was a QR code to scan and enter your license plate number by the 2nd floor elevator, but I kept pressing Continue even outside the garage and could not get the webpage to take my license or have an indication of it knew about my car. I was there about 2.5 hours, and the fee at the box when I exited was close to $15 but with the Founding Father's 2 hour validation, it was more like $5.

The Korean noodle bowl and the Korean steak is awesome. We also had the avocado toast which was decent. The breakfast taco was delicious and can be made dairy free.
