    Seafood soondubu and bibimmyeon
    Becca K.

Need to bring this to Chicago! One of my favorite places to get soondubu in the country! The spice level was just right and hits the spot every time I come here. I'm seriously considering moving to Dallas because of this restaurant LOL Definitely recommend getting the seafood soondubu! I also tried the bibimmyeon and it tastes so authentic! Can't wait for the next time I'm back~

Service was fine. Food was good but nothing special. I thought the kalbi portion could havw been more. Tofu stew was hot and flavorful. The rice was cooked well. Spicy cold noodles were not spicy at all. Got busy after we came on new years - good vibes!

Took my childhood buddy here to experience Korean food-- the side dishes were great and we split the bibimbap and spicy pork bulgogi. We left satisfied and need to try the stews here next time. Till next time Dallas. Cheers!

Excellent food and variety! I have been here numerous times and its hands down the best Korean tofu soup. The tofu is made in house and you can taste the quality of the dishes especially the banchan. I ordered the seafood beef tofu soup and grilled pork combo. The pork was so flavorful, a little charred on a bed of onions. I was just happy with that until I had the soup! It wasn't fishy and I appreciate that you can pick your spice level. Definitely go for medium for the most flavorful spice level. Mild spice becomes bland. Also the beef dumplings were fresh. You can tell everything is made in house. Customer service isn't great, you have to ask the servers if you want something but I think its part of the korean culture.

I've been to Cho Dang in LA so I was surprised and excited to find one in Dallas. I ordered the dumpling tofu soup (medium spicy level) and it was delicious (very flavorful)! I just wish it came with a few more dumplings since there were only three, but overall I really enjoyed it. They also serve fried fish for each person and the rice comes in a stone pot, which is always a huge plus. My mom ordered the Korean cold noodles and requested hot sauce, and it made the dish even better. I definitely recommend asking for it. The staff were so friendly about it too which I really appreciated. Great food and great service, I will be back!

Cho Dang is our favorite Korean restaurant in DFW and that's saying a lot. We've been coming here for years ever since they opened and they have been consistently good every time we've been. They are known for their soondubu or tofu soup and highly recommend getting that. Spice level is adjustable and they can do no spice which is great for kids. Each meal comes with banchan and a fried yellow croaker which has tons of salty flavor if you can navigate through the bones. The LA galbi is really good as well. Meat is tender and has a great grilled flavor. Seafood pancake is also great and it's of the thicker variety and comes on a hot plate. The service is always super efficient. It gets busy but the ajummas have a great system to get you your food asap. Does get pretty busy at peak times but wait times are never too long because of the efficiency.

This is hands-down my favorite spot for Korean food. The quality is always on point, and the variety of banchan (side dishes) they serve is not only delicious but also refillable--major bonus! I always go for their Soondubu Jjigae, Bibim Naengmyeon, or Bibimbap--you really can't go wrong with any of them. They also offer some great combo deals, so you can enjoy two dishes without breaking the bank. I even introduced my dad to this place, and now every time he visits, he insists on ordering half the menu for the family to share. It's become our go-to spot for a hearty, comforting Korean meal. Highly recommend if you're craving authentic Korean flavors and a warm, welcoming vibe!

My new favorite place for Korean food. The place was recommended by the person that cuts my hair at Our Salon. I knew that it would be good! Located in the corner by Tom and Tom's coffee. It was very busy on a Saturday night around 6:45. You can tell that the place was going to be good when you see a variety of banhchan and tofu soup along with stone rice come out to every table. The place was a fun vibe for a party or dinner with a home like feel. They had K-pop music playing in the background. The menu had a variety of items. I chose the combo to have tofu seafood soup and Kalbi. I was served with 6 banhchan dishes, loved the kimchi, cucumber, and bean sprouts. I had to ask for seconds. I loved that the soup comes with an egg that you crack into the soup to cook. The soup was so delicious. It warmed me up. The flavor was soo good. The Kalbi was good too. They give you great portions. I also learned how to eat nurungi, a beloved Korean comfort food. You place tea water in the stone rice. It because like porridge. A hidden gem that's is so good.

I enjoyed the service and bonchons at Cho Dang Village, but the food was alright. Get the Combo Special as you get a good portion of protein and a delicious soup. The Spicy Pork was good, the Galbi was OK, and the Octopus Noodles didn't have nearly enough octopus. The Seafood Pancake was nice and fluffy, though.

It's been quite a while since our last visit, but everything was just as good as we remembered. The fish egg soup is incredibly authentic and flavorful. The BBQ beef and pork are both delicious--tender, well-marinated, and perfectly grilled. A truly satisfying return visit!

My go-to Korean comfort food spot! Staples there are their soft tofu soup (Soondubu), which I get with seafood. All dishes come with a variety of refillable side dishes which I LOVE and their hot stone pot rice (pictured). This place is a local favorite and alway delivers!

My mom and I recently visited Cho Dang Village in search of some tasty silken tofu soup. We were not disappointed! The restaurant itself was spacious and inviting. After ordering, our food arrived quickly. The portions were large and supplemented with many pickled side dishes, white rice, fried fish, and barley tea. Everything was savory, delicious, and satisfying. The quality and volume of food you get for the price is unbeatable! The next time I'm in Carrollton, I won't miss the opportunity to drop by!

Wow, we ate so much! This place is delish. Seemed really authentic and generous portions. Staff was nice and helped with the menu and mixing in tea to the rice. We got the spicy pork bulgogi, soft tofu soup with kimchi and oysters, a beef soup, and a seafood pancake. It was a ton of food.

The noodles had great texture, the broth was rich without being overly salty, and the side dishes were fresh and plentiful. You won't feel ignored, but you also won't be on a first-name basis with your server by the end of the night. Ambiance is simple and casual. It's not trying to be fancy--it's more of a laid-back, everyday kind of place where the focus is clearly on the food. If you're looking for a trendy vibe, this isn't it.
