Upon entering The Chocolate Cafe, it will be a race between your eyes to take in the nostalgically 50s themed cafe and your nose to inhale the magical melange of chocolate and coffee!! Cafe is broken into three parts - The small living all decorated with a retro TV, the main store with all of the different chocolate goodies and candy trays and the right-hand dining area hot and iced drinks, lunch and breakfast!! Shout out to the staff who are fast, efficient, and helpful with customers placing their orders!! This is a wonderful relaxing cozy shop to enjoy a drink - iced Chai latte - our personal fave or quick bite to eat!!! Horrible customer service. I am hoping to surprise a couple who is getting married in Orleans, Ma during these rough time (COVID19) with some nice pastries and chocolate. Due to the pandemic, they are having a private celebration. I made a phone call to The Chocolate Cafe in hopes to place an order and make a delivery to their AirBnB. After explaining the situation, the lady I spoke with basically was like "Deliver what?!" As if I am asking her to deliver furniture from a chocolate cafe. I responded with whatever I decide to order from your business. She then told me she is unable to make such demand and they are short staff. They will not have a baker in house to bake any goods. I would hope during these time any business would be happy to provide a service that is not out of the ordinary for them. (They do advertise they deliver and ship) She did not have any compassion on the pleasant gift I was hoping to gift the newlyweds. I am really disappointed. read more

Breakfast sandwiches rival the best on the Cape. Chocolate Frappe, 10 out of 10. The service provided by the Johnson trio reminds me of the old Howard Johnson chain of family restaurants. (They claim no relation). Did I mention the chocolate truffles? My advice to anyone traveling on the outer cape is just to go there. Early and often. My only regret is I didn't find it until Thursday and we're leaving tomorrow. Luckily, I happen to have some room in the truck for a couple pounds of chocolates and a gallon of frozen hot chocolate if I leave the wife here. (Sorry honey) read more

This is the cutest place! It is a chocolate shop that also has sandwiches , pastries, and hot and cold coffees and drinks. It is styled in 1950's fashion, right down to a vintage jukebox that works. There are several places inside to sit and have coffee and a bite to eat. That was much needed in Eastham since this is open all day and all year long. There is even a room with a black and white old style TV playing a loop of Lucy reruns. Worth a visit as a curiosity alone, but I doubt you will pass up the chocolate. read more

The older lady who helped me was pleasant. But the younger lady was very rude asking, "Are you done???? I'll ring you up over here." She was very off putting. The chocolates were sub-par. They were selling signs with profanities on them right on display so children could read them. Cute place, but the chocolates were not very good. read more

My mom purchased some chocolate here. Little collection of six candies. It was a grand surprise, because you look at this small place and say "really? skip"... but dont think that way. I used to think other places in Orleans (remaining nameless) were the best place to get chocolate, but unlike those places that took a dive in quality this place seems to really hold true to classic, quality offerings. So good for you little Eastham store! and please give it a try. As a local I am I can recommend this place. Since mom bought them i cant tell you about price, sorry. oh and minus a star because I gotta see about consistency... so ignore that for now. read more

Another great experience. They created delicious and beautiful baby shower favors fir me. Helped me stay in budget and wrapped them so nicely. Transported them to CT and had rave reviews...chocolate dipped graham crackers decorated in baby themes. So appreciate having this great place close by. And the chocolates are delicious! Pretty good. Decent coffee, small selection of cakes and sandwiches, only two tables to sit in. The chocolate shop has a great range and the chocolate selection is better than the coffee selection. A reasonable choice if you're in Eastham or north, but if you're coming from the south, try Chocolate Sparrow in Orleans first. read more

Excellent quality chocolates to choose from! Coffees are great as well! Prices are very reasonable. Different candies and baked items as well. Some might find their fudge a little sweet but perfect for a sweet bite here and there. Look for their food truck at the local beaches, $5 or $6 for most drinks and snacks!! read more

This Chocolate Cafe has delicious Chocolates (my kids loved the peanut butter cups and I had a truffle-yummy!)), coffee and tea.......I love tea and the selection was great! We piked-up a few nicely wrapped candy items as gifts. We will definitely stop by often. read more
