As you can easily tell from their spectacular reviews, Choice Air Care comes highly recommended. I reached out to them for a second opinion after the original company I called charged $600 and spent 15 minutes onsite diagnosing my cooling issues. They then proceeded to tell me it would be an additional $9k for repairs and pushed hard for me to utilize their astronomically high APR financing. When I called Choice Air Care on Saturday morning the scheduler promptly answered my call and listened to my story. She said not to worry, they'd have someone out within a couple hours (on Easter weekend to boot!) Chip arrived shortly and within 30 minutes had shown me why all the HVAC units didn't need to be replaced. At that point, I felt like he should have been wearing a superhero cape! It gets better though! He scheduled his repair team to come out two hours later, the same day, and at 1/3 of the original contractor's price. The installation techs were on time, professional, and did a superb job. (I bet all that has to do with their Rockstar supervisor, John.) That guy is going places. My heating system went out in the middle of the night. Contacted Choice Air Care at around 8 am, and they were able to send a tech out within 1.5 hours. The person I spoke with to setup the appt was very courteous and professional. She took all my information and a brief description of what was happening. The tech Jordan that came to my house was very professional and courteous as well. He informed me of a couple of the possible issues it could be before he started. Once he determined the issue, he gave me the quote to get it running so he could diagnose further. Ended up being a minor cleanup of a heating sensor, and was charged the quote he gave me. Jordan did inform me of an item to keep an eye on, as it could possibly become an issue later down the line. It was still within specs, so i opted to not have it replaced at this time. I asked Jordan about any maintenance contracts they had and he gave me the information and quote before leaving. Jordan had me up and running and all checked out in less than an hour. Our heater has been working on & off for a couple of months now. I had done the basic checks and I couldn't get it to work properly. It finally just stopped blowing hot air and wouldn't shut off, so I called Choice Air. I was surprised to find-out that they would come out on a Sunday, and even more surprised to learn that they do not charge overtime or weekend rates to do it; and they were nearby. After speaking with them on the phone, a technician immediately texted me with a time frame to come out. Chris cam e out as promised, I described the issue, and he went right to work. In very little time Chris came down and told me he had everything working properly and described what he had done for us. He also advised me on what to do in the event of future problems. Then he told us there was no charge! What? The temperature has just hit freezing this week, and it looks like a cold winter ahead. This blessing has made me a believer. I'm thinking if I had called someone prior to this for routine cleaning and maintenance I would not have had to worry in the first place. Call these guys. read more

Choice Air Care did an phenomenal job from start to finish. We called them after we felt a disservice from a different company who left us confused and without options. I called on a holiday weekend and the company was still able to provide same day service. Our technician, Chris, came out that morning and thoroughly checked the unit to find out that our evaporator coil was leaking. He gave us a few options and explained everything in layman's terms so myself and my husband could easily understand. We decided not to bandaid the problem and just get a new air conditioner since it was an old one. The company had financing options which made it much more reasonable to pay over time. The following morning the crew came out an installed the whole unit in less than 2 hours and we immediately noticed a difference in our air temperature. Later that evening the supervisor came to inspect the work and gave us some helpful tips on maintaining and taking care of our new conditioner. Choice Air is amazing in my book. My AC died in the middle of the night last night. After calling a couple of different companies this morning, Chip with Choice Air was at my house in a couple of hours, on a holiday weekend Sunday when the Texas heat decided to kick in. It is currently 87 degrees in our house and I have a young child and LOTS of pets. My 14-15 year system officially died. We knew it was coming because we have already repaired a couple of things on this unit. A few hours later, they are back at my house putting in a new unit at a price well below all others. They did not charge us for anything we did not truly need replaced. I have had 3 different AC companies to my house fixing different issues the last couple of months and have received quotes from probably 5 others. Let me tell you, it's been fun and educational. I have to say Choice Air is affordable, honestly, on time and they come out on a holiday weekend at no extra charge. The BEST choice is CHOICE AIR! I found Choice Air on the Good Contractor's List. I had an appointment within 48 hours. They offered to come same-day, but it was a Sunday. From beginning to end, Chris and the Choice Air team were awesome. He analyzed my system, identified the problems, was open and honest about the condition of my old units, and detailed the potential hurdles in a manner I could understand. He provided pictures of problem areas in the attic, walked me around both units, listened to my concerns, and gave me several options. The quote for each option was competitive and included a few add-ons without upcharge. Within days we had the new parts delivered and installed and working great!! I've used this company three times in the past three years for yearly tune ups and a few repairs after purchasing an older home with the original ac system still chugging along. In early April I called them out again to service my system for summer. However, at that point I brought up the fact that my wife and kids keep having bad allergy symptoms even when staying at home. After being briefed on options that would help control allergies and mold spores in the air I opted to finally replace my system with an energy efficient system that also drastically cuts down on air born particles in the home. We had the misfortune of finding out our entire system needed to be replaced. Unfortunately the previous owners of our house didn't do the routine maintenance and the system was shot; A/C, furnaces, coils, everything - 3 systems total. We called 2 other companies for bids, and after speaking with Chip; we knew our choice was clear. He didn't push the high-end systems on the market, recommended what made the most sense for our home, and didn't try to take us to the cleaners. They came in $9,000 less expensive to our next highest bid, were out the next day and had the entire job done in a day. I can't say enough good things about these guys. I had Chip come to my house September 2017 and he gave me a quote on changing the unit out. Shopping A/C and heating units can be brain overload, Chip explained my options and encouraged me to shop around and call with any questions. After all was said and done, the others were close, but I felt Choice Air was the right company and decided to change the entire system out. I am blown away with the service I received. Monday evening at 10:30pm, my HVAC stopped working. I was in a panic, temps are above 100 and I have 5 dogs in the house who were getting warm. I started searching, and decided to go with Choice Air Care as they are a local company and website said they do after hour service. Not only did they fit me in, even though the service tech had 2 other jobs still to get done that night - but they do not charge an additional after hours fee. Their moto is if you can fix it, do that - do not replace unit if not necessary. So honest and fair with pricing (Competitive with market). Thank you so much!! Any time I've ever needed them, even in their busiest time of the year, they've always taken care of my ac problems promptly. We have found our forever HVAC company. The fan in our A/C unit was rattling very loudly and we wanted to get it fixed. We called around 3 pm on a Friday and Chip was out here by 6 pm the same day. He was concerned it could be a serious issue, so he got here quickly. He called a few minutes before he arrived and was as pleasant as could be. He was able to fix the problem (duct tape that had gotten caught in the fan and was making a terrible noise) quickly. We now have a fan running smoothly and quietly! I highly recommend Choice Air Care; my A/C went completely out on a Friday afternoon at the end of May 2018 where temperatures had hit 100+ for several days in a row; I have 2 kids; a 15 month old and a 3.5 yr old.
