I wanted to like this spot a lot more than I did... All the food was ice cold and from the fridge. Its not hot and fresh or made to order, its just sitting in the fridge and they grab it for you. Why not let us grab it then? It's very weird. The set up looks like a cafe and bakery but literally everything is prepackaged, pre made. I find it off putting. It's unfortunate because I love that they're organic and they use clean ingredients but there is nothing to go back for. Their store front is nice and has seating but it's an awkward grab and go store. I suppose it would be a good place to buy gifts at and a drink only or an ice cold breakfast or lunch on your break, if you have a way to warm it up. read more

After window shopping and craving something healthy, I stumbled upon this place at the corner of El Camino Real and Del Mar. It's like the sibling to Pressed Juicery but a lot more in terms of eatery options. I wasn't super hungry but needed a green booster. Chose the Choice Greens which is Organic Apple, Organic Cucumber, Organic Spinach, Organic Kale, Organic Celery, Organic Lemon, and Organic Ginger. It's the best Elixir when you need to detox and/ or select something fresh and light. You can also get salads and various bowls, along with smoothies. I've tried Pressed Juice multiple times across Orange County, and honestly, it just doesn't do it for me. The taste is consistently off -- almost stale or flat -- and while I wouldn't call it artificial, it just doesn't feel fresh or satisfying. On the other hand, Choice Juice in San Clemente is the complete opposite. It's the juice place I look forward to coming back to every time I'm in town. Their juices taste clean, vibrant, and actually like real vegetables and fruits - not heavy, not overly sweet, just fresh and nourishing. What a fantastic place! I spend a lot of time in San Clemente but usually by the pier, not downtown. I had my mum visiting this weekend and decided to explore the downtown shops. I'd just finished quite a long run and was looking for something refreshing. Right on the corner was Choice Juicery! They have a selection of juices as well as smoothies or bowls. I opted for the PB&J smoothie with oak milk. So, So good and refreshing! I actually got my husband to have a few sips, which is unheard of. I would highly recommend a stop in here if you're looking for something healthy that's not going to make you feel sluggish. So refreshing! Stopped in for some food as a vegan (and gluten free) person visiting San Clemente for the day I was excited there's a choice juicery around. The guy who was working was so friendly and inviting!! Immediately greeted us and told us about the place. I got the sun tuna roll and it WAS AMAZING. As a vegan of almost a decade I've had so much vegan sushi. I've walked by this place so many times and always wanted to stop in but never did, until today. It was perfect after yoga. The girl working so incredibly sweet and definitely knowledgeable about the ingredients. I tried her recommendation for the Pb & j and I was not disappointed. I have no idea how this place only has a few reviews at the time of this review. Incredible smoothies and fresh pressed juice. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We ordered the Warrior and Salted Caramel smoothie. Their homemade coconut caramel is incredible, and they generously coat the inside of the glass with it for the Salted Caramel smoothie. We went back the next day and re-ordered the Warrior along with a beet and chia fresh pressed juice. Everything is homemade or nearly so, they are definitely doing things right! read more

Hot drink size is 8oz versus 12oz industry standard everywhere else, but the drink (matcha latte) is really good. $6 price but in its defense, it has some adaptogenic mushrooms in the mix. I wanted a juice but couldn't get a fresh one. They only do the stale old pre-juiced variety. (Has everyone forgotten that juice loses its nutrients after 15 minutes to an hour?) it lost a star on this point alone, because if you're a juice bar and that's on the sign, your customers should be able to get a FRESH juice juiced the moment they order it.
